I can’t believe more people haven’t watched this. People do know that St. Dominic was given the gift of the rosary from Our Lady right?

There are historical problems with this assertion. The most extensively documented and truthful book is "St. Dominic and his Times" By Father Vicaire. The book is extremely long and to the non-academic, very dry. But I loved it.

Actually no it seems many don't know Saint Dominic Guzman played his saintly part in preaching and spreading the Holy Rosary as given him directly by our Lady who appeared to him from heaven. He was a studious, prayerful soul and he was charitable to the poor and starving. He recommended the recitation of the Holy rosary to Queen Blanche in her desire to bare a child. She did birth who would become king Louis.

Me neither. Perhaps we are being called to promote and bring forward his life and continue his mission to educate the world and promote the recital of the Holy rosary daily.

Oh Father Gregory how I wished u would have included the most important bit of info regarding Catholics utilizing the Most Holy Rosary and where it was founded. I’ve only recently learned this thru reading the wonderful book by Fr. Donald Calloway, MIC.
I do appreciate your talk however bc anything we can learn about our saints is always beneficial for us.
Thank you and maybe you can do an additional teaching on how St Dominic is renowned for the founder of the rosary which The Blessed Mother told him to use, to fight Heresy 🤗🙏

If anyone still doubts that the Rosary was prescribed by the Blessed Mother, rather than being the invention of Dominic, that question was put to rest by the Apparition at Las Lajas in southern Colombia in the mid-1700's.

@@maritzaheg8538 why would an angel bring beads of gold to a man impervious to the sin of avarice? The word angel is Greek for messenger. They are messenger from God. Dominic knew God through prayer and study.

Saint Dominic; pray for us and for the conversion of the world. Our Lady also said with man's of the brown sacapular and Holy rosary she will save the world. Because the world will follow her in loving her son who is God and loved souls so much he died for us on the cross and rose from the dead 3 days later as he promised he would. After 40 days of appearing to his apostles he assumes into heaven body and soul and they witnessed this also. It's the followers of Jesus who spread his story and wrote the Bible and lead by example and we all play a part in this. So all these false protestant notions are simply demonic whispers in disguise not true followers.

There is debate among the Dominicans about Our Lady giving the Rosary to St. Dominic but it’s undoubtedly true that he was. Many Pope’s affirmed it from his time the debate came from historical critical methods of interpreting the history(which is way too narrow).

Infiltration seeks always to slander the supernatural. One only needs to pray and experience and read about the fruits of the rosary to know it's heaven sent.

A sudden....realization that I had today was when I remembered St. Dominic as the one Mother Mary revealed the Rosary to.
I called the Catholic Church in Natchez asking for a detailed "Compendium" of the rosary. Not just a listing of mysteries, but teachings miracles and prayer forms of/by/for/to the Rosary itself.
Further curiosity about St. Dominic himself is what led me here to this video. Who's "moral of the story" I got was to pray.
This is where God has led me in 1 hour's time and I hope that all read it share in this feeling I possess and use that urge to pray.
    Thank you! Happy to share!😊

“Pray to the saints” this wording is disturbingly false, it’s more like talking or asking a friend to watch your back, a random example of why this is wrong in interpretation, imagine you got in a fight and your older brother was there and you ask him to help, but knowing at any given moment your father can be there to break up the fight and provide comfort and correct the situation, your brother can’t do that, and shouldn’t be the subject of what you think about, when and what you need help with, you would go to your father first, and your father would then tell your brother to assist you in your time of question. There is the thought of saints being intertwined with god in every sense, are they? (They are) but, can you safely say with human interpretation that everyone makes this discernment when reguarding prayer to a saint. It’s inherently wrong to say it in that manner, not just because of the Prodistant stigma of it being false prayer to him, but because the interpretation to someone who doesn’t understand is wrong

I guess you don't pray for anyone then?
Heaven is eternal reward for those devoted to Christ. Christ sent his disciples to spread his teachings and found his church. Jesus didn't work alone and he listens to his saints and parents. Of course all Grace comes.from.God but via Jesus, Mary and other saints. Don't be afraid to be an intercessor now and to call on those who have found favour in God's eyes and can help us know God. The protestant heresy regards prayer to Jesus only is false and unfortunate because it cuts you off from all the extra blessings and graces that come.from.heaven. saints, angles are heaven sent and work for God just as we should be here on earth as the church militant. Please look up what is the church militant and what is the church triumphant and broaden your understanding and correct those false ideas regards prayer and saints. Satan seeks to Cut us off from Gods grace and let's be frank.we all know scripturally we can find many quotes of where Mary interceed and is the one to crush the head of the serpent. Even in Genesis 3.15.

1, I never said I don’t pray for everyone (I do), so what lead you to the assumption that I don’t.
2, I understand that information obtained by saints are heard by God, and their unionization with them.
3, the key issue here is the common understanding of what prayer is by definition, the separation of prayer from saint and god and people treat the saints as an entity seperate from the whole.
4, as the understanding of most people is warped in the view of prayer, the phrase(s) “Praying to saint(s) / Prayer to saint(s)” is wrong.
5, you are able to pray directly to god knowing that the saints are in union with him, the saints are not directly intented to be a medium for prayer with him, which causes issues to arise as stated in no.3
“I asked saint _ to watch over me”
“I prayed to saint _ to watch over me”
See the issue with those one of those phrases?
Pray to God. Ask the saint(s).
