You have got a nice efficient one man operation going on there, must be nearing the end of the season with all those short crab you're having to pick through.
So your davit is right by you’re steering column, anybody think this can be setup similar on a 18 ft deep V puget sound boat? I think the main concept is having the davit by the steering so as not not have to run from the stern to where the davit is to the bow to steer the boat correctly. Thanks
That's how some of the tribal fishing boats are setup. 14'-36' boats mostly setup this way in the pnw. The davit placement on the hall is what's most important. Can't be too far forward on smaller boats
Freddie Mullins go talk to boat owners dude closed mouths dont get fed.im in my 2nd year on a boat I can't really think of anything I'd rather do for work.its hard work but pays off
Omg I'm drooling, I flip them over, pull em open, poor beer inside & mix everything around with your finger and drink then repeat! Boom best shit on the planet omg,I give away the claws/legs cuz I ain't got time I'm to busy with drinking all that goodness. Oh man am I jealous 😫
Haha, just now saw this video! Eddie is a badass! He is the nicest guy you'll ever meet and hard core crabbing sob! Fished next to him for years.

dang... don't seem to be able to keep any of them lots of work to see them all tossed for under the size is that normal :(

Once I'm older I would love to help

💯🐐
Honest question for the crabbers - how long can the crab be out of the water before they die?
About 2 hours normally
like 2 days if there on ice
A lot of floating line and no trailer bouy, efficient but the enviros hate it

its nice when ppl aren't running your gear huh
how come the crab doesn't pinch your hand?
Katherine Inaction he picks them up by the back or the paddler legs and their elbow joints don't bend that way
Katherine Inaction if u move fast enough they dont have a chance to pinch u🤣
bc its the way you hold them
Wouldn't like to fight this dude. That's hardcore. Hat's off bro
All them he threw back gosh
Most likely they were Females and smalls. Gotta follow regulations and keep things sustainable.
Вот она культура. В России бы не выкинули 🤣
How times do you check your pots per day?
It depends on a storm or not or if they are in the mudd
no
I hate 1 manning it
More money, but definitely more dangerous
