    So your davit is right by you’re steering column, anybody think this can be setup similar on a 18 ft deep V puget sound boat? I think the main concept is having the davit by the steering so as not not have to run from the stern to where the davit is to the bow to steer the boat correctly. Thanks

      That's how some of the tribal fishing boats are setup. 14'-36' boats mostly setup this way in the pnw. The davit placement on the hall is what's most important. Can't be too far forward on smaller boats
