He is remaking the old game Fallout 2 to 3D, for which project I had a really small 2D graphic work done. I thought since it was more than a year now I found this project of Jonasz, and being developed ever since that it's time to try it out and see how it turned out to be. It's an enjoyable game that's for sure.

Disclaimer: The whole commentary thing is really not important, it's just that the Game Bar software couldn't record any audio, and I still wanted something to be heard, not just total silence, so there is my voice and my fanmade soundtrack for Fallout to give some atmosphere to the gameplay video.

Just how many Remakes there are now? One is being made fallout 4 engine, then there is this one that looks cross between doom and morrowind, then canceled one.
There are few yes. I think even two teams working on two different Fallout 2 remakes on Fallout 4 engine.
Give it some voxel assets, and some better environments, and I think it would actually be tempting to play.
Looks like it's GZdoom,
I wonder if one could translate some Bethesda assets and see if there is a means of translating legit assets into the game.
Maybe power Dialogue with something simple like Renpy.
Could give it a retro feel with a frankenstien assembly of assets, tools and multiple engines.
Might make something new.
Hopefully it would be more reminiscent of something like Bakersfield.
