It is absolutely one of the best dramas. I think it was the second drama I ever watched and I only found it because I loved Nam Joo Hyuk in The Bride of Habaek, another awesome drama.
This scene (and the one where he’s crying in ep 15) actually sealed to me the fact that Nam Joo Hyuk is an amazing actorrrr! The tears feel SO genuine!

I felt so bad for him in this scene! I get what Bok Joo meant when she was telling him to see it from a different perspective but still that’s gotta be a different type of hurt. Even if mom does miss him, you begin to lose faith. Like, “you miss me, but would you have visited if your circumstances were better? You missed me but would you have even come if you didn’t need someone else and I just happened to be here too.” I totally get it why he believes he’s been fooled. He’s practically grown up without her and she didn’t send him any real letters. They were forged.

WLF has been suggested many times by my friends and was feeling indifferent when i started watching. Didnt expect i would be so attached to it, the story, casts and ost blends really good together... you know when youve been watching too many series that sometimes u just finish it for the sake of knowing the story but this one is like a breath of fresh air from all the other series... that feeling 🥰
Based on his past projects and the first couple episodes I wrote Nam Joo Hyuk off as a sub-par actor but he really proved me wrong in this episode. Every single scene he had in this episode was perfect and I even cried along with him.
This scene is one of my fave scene of this drama, another scene that I really liked was when it was snowing and BokJoo together with her weightlifting buddies were doing strike, at the time JoonHyuk and BokJoo were on a fight but JoonHyuk went to BokJoo to give her heating pads jacket and scarf! So sweet! However in this scene, I like the raw emotion that I see in JoonHyuk, how hurt and embarrassed he was knowing that his mom did not return because of him, rather because she needs money and have to borrow to the people who actually brought JoonHyuk up, shameless of her mom but understandable since it's for her other child, still so hurtful for JoonHyuk... This scene was really a tearjerker...
This was my 6th kdrama in quarantine and I still can't errase this in my head I cant move on to watch some new kdrama I wish I could erase my memories and watch this drama over and over again because its too beautiful to move on
Love this drama. This pool scene is my favorite in this drama. This and Strong Woman Do Bong Soon are 2 of my favorite dramas. Will continue to see booth over and over again.

This was such an amazing drama. I've watched so many good dramas throughout the years since I started watching Korean dramas, and there are so many I want to rewatch, including this one. My heart broke in this scene for Joon Hyung. His mother coming back not for him but because she needed money is so messed up even if it was for her sick child. I think that's why she needed the money. 😐 I watched this drama like six years ago when it came out so I don't remember.

watching this feels so nostalgic...I remember it had only just came out when i saw it and i also remember me in my baby K-Drama days relaxing watching k-dramas with no worries in the world...how I wish I could go back to the carefree me...
I know this is kind of late to write since it's been a year now that this scene came out but from 1:00 to 1:13 that part hurt me so much since it reminded me of my dad. My dad doesn't realize it but me,my mom and siblings know that the family from our dads side often only contact him for money. I don't want to make my family look bad but my grandma (mom of my dad) started a conflict between both my parents witch led them to not speak to each other for about a week or two. Seeing that they were no longer communicating to each other like they used too hurt me so much. Of course that's all in the past now but I can't help but to still feel a bit of hatred towards my grandma, but watching this scene always remembers me that my dad may never realize that they often use him for money and not only that but he also cares a bit more his family (mom,siblings,etc) than his own family he built (me,my mom,my siblings). But anyways everything is fine now.........*Also everybody wash your hands,stay at home and stay protected*
