I suffer from middle back pain. When the tensions hurts too much, I used to curl up in bed in an embryonic position. I replaced this habit with your movments. This helps me really a lot. Thank you.❤
Thanx for a new great movement Colm. I have a recent concussion so I had a bit of th whirlies with the eye motion. I'm asking for general tips on managing this....brain bonk. I also felt pain in left shoulder and upper arm, more tips on that too please. Love all of it. Keep up the good work.
Hi Judy, you're welcoem! A concussive impact will make the neck stiffen, work on freeing that. That will also help with shoulder and upper arm pain. Here are some videos you can use. Hey Bronwyn, yeah this is a personal favourite of mine. Great question. You can do the same sequence but wrapping your arms around yourself instead. It feels very nice too. Try it and see.
Thanks Colm ! A bit challenging for me in two ways , arms felt heavy and during the wide stance of the legs the right one tends to internally rotate ( move in ) while doing the movements.
Hi Naveen, that suggests you're more tight in the front of the body. Follow the Anxiety Relief sequence and then retest this one. It should feel easier afterwards: ruclips.net/video/DFqHh2NSJdM/видео.html

@@LearnSomatics Excellent. You are more than kind and my back is feeling so much better and I am sitting taller but more importantly the pain is lessening everyday. Thank you!

You're welcome Michelle, hope you feel better soon! My next video, which will be posted on Saturday, might be helpful for your Coccydynia. Give it a try and let me how you go.
i love your vids.can you please make one to release throat muscles? My throat is always so tinight and it makes it hard to breathe. Not just cause it constricts the throat itself, but also because it pulls up the ribcage and f**ks with my diaphragm. Can you please do one for throat tension?

I really like this but it does seem to cause strain in my neck, even if I keep my fingers only touching my head :( Any advice welcome, thank you. Another question - some of these moves (this and the lovely lovely twisting one on the same playlist), I get a delicious 'yawn' through my body. That's meant to happen, right? I sit with it, let it happen, slow the movement right the way down to release. Hope this is correct!!
Hi Morgana, try the movement below first and then retest this seated movement and see if it’s not easier afterwards. ruclips.net/video/pin3ZHhvZ0w/видео.html Yes exactly! The movements should feel pleasurable like a yawn, lean into that feeling. Nice work.
