Do you feel one needs to be hard and cold to make it in this world? ☺️ no need to respond, just some questions to maybe ask yourself and why that maybe 🥰
Same. I tried working in a nine to five office job. Every single hour, I was unhappy and yearning for theatre- a risky business, not much money and a lot of competition. Yet, I switched jobs, worked for half a year in a theatre and loved every second of it. I fell in love and couldn't get enough. Now I moved across the country to study theatre and it was the best decision of my life. I'm so incredibly happy to wake up for it and I'm grateful for every hour that I get to learn about my passion subject :)
I think writing and making art can go hand in hand. Right now I’m learning how to incorporate writing into my art it’s very exciting and there are so many creative ways that you can do it!
I resonate so much with this. I am finally starting to accept myself as an artist and go for it above all else! It starts with reading a book about painting and then signing up for an art workshop then sharing your work online. These small steps add up and before you know it you can call yourself an artist!

It was just me who couldn't see it, and was constantly angry because it was never "what I wanted it to be", which made me push it away for a while. But it's my friend. Art is my friend, and never left me, like I did
Insightful as always! College was where all that was happening for me, bounced around a lot between majors in the STEM fields. I had been involved with music in some capacity all my life, it was almost an invisible force I took for granted. It was always there for me.
Art is the most beautiful thing in the world. After survival, Art is the first thing we should do. The conciousness we were given is not made to follow orders and consume. It was given to us to interact with people and do art.

*I SPENT 25 YEARS WORKING TO BE A SUCCESS* when I got there in 2014 and was worth €6 million I was unhappy It wasn't like the movies and it turns out it was not my dram, it was society's dream for me. I was saved by an accident that bankrupted me. I now write books and make historical clothes - and Im happy.
My take away from this video.... It's okay to not know straight what you are meant to do and to try different things. Along the journey, sometimes it's that quiet gentle voice inside of you that you need to listen to, the one that's been there all along giving you comfort and joy.

It took me 31 years to figure out I need to create art to survive. Not graphic design, industrial design, not interior design. These were all cop-outs for who I truly am. I have to draw and paint, and it brings me so much happiness and balance to my life everyday. Now I just have to figure out how to monetize it, haha.
