I recently got the new version of the IK Foam 2.0 with the compressor valve. I also bought a little battery operated air compressor on amazon. Yes, it adds to the cost if you are on a budget but the fact that I can get foam constantly and without pumping its just amazing. For the record you don't need to spend a lot, a friend has the same combo but he bought the cheapest aliexpress compressor he could find. It was around 15€, can't really say about longevity but for now its working fine and it also fits the valve of the bigger 3 liter foamer he has so he's pretty happy about it 😄
I bought them 2 years ago because of your first video. They are really durable. A tip if the squeaking bothers you when pumping. Spray silicon spray into the pumper
When I started out I bought a Foamer (non IK) for my wheels for GT wheel shampoo then bought an IK Sprayer that size for applying Citrus to my arches and barrels and tyres. Though I initially used it to spray citrus to the lower sections on the panels I now add citrus directly into my foam cannon unless I am using alkaline foam or ph neutral straight up on a dusty panel. They are two of my favourite accessories in my detailing arsenal.
Cool video. I have a multi sprayer and like it. For bigger foaming jobs I bought a I.K. foam Pro sprayer 12 plus. I believe it holds 10L but workable 6L. Got to leave room for air pressure, so I don't fill it more than halfway. Phil at Miranda detail uses one a lot. The air compressor valve on top works very well. I'm planning on buying another multi sprayer pretty quickly. It's just too handy to have a 2nd one. Good video Heather.
Is there any particular reason why you prefer using a sprayer instead of a snow foam during the pre wash stage? You mentioned in the video that you use less product. Is that the only reason? It seems so much quicker using a snow foam. Great content as always, Heather!
Thank you! I still use snow foam usually tbh, I agree it’s quicker to get more product on the car and let it really soak the harder to reach areas. The sprayer is a good option too though if you want to use less product but that’s the only benefit of it really
Fab review best comparison video I’ve seen that’s not USA! Thanks interestingly I’ve seen ‘valet specialist’ RUclipsr uses BH touchless in a pump sprayer to good effect instead of a foamer.
Thank you Heather for this video. I have been interested in one of these sprayers as my Marolex master 2000 plus is starting to fail after 12 years + of use.
I have the kwazar equivalents, and after using the pump foamer and being highly let down I simply use a second foam cannon filled with wheel shampoo which I find a much better option than a hand pumper Couldn’t be without the sprayer though
Hi Heather very good video I have recently used the ik foamer to apply snow foam to my car it did take a bit longer as I was testing out washing my car with no pressure washer just hose and the 2 bucket method I did work very good but just takes time is there a foamer that would be more suited if am going to wash my car this way without the pressure washer this is only for a weekly wash as I don't want to annoy neighbours with the constant drown of the pressure washer every weekend
I’ve seen some stuff on the cheap Amazon one but I’ve heard the build quality is really poor and it breaks easily. All the others seem quite expensive unfortunately!
I’ve converted bunch, even cheap ones, pump sprayers, both small and large ones, using a Schrader valve. They all work great and you are not limited to one battery powered inflator. Yes, it is not built in, but that’s the advantage as there are no internal parts to fail. No need for pumping a trigger sprayer and getting tired and you get constant pressure. You can use an IK Foam Pro+ that already comes with the valve to cover the entire car in thick foam in no time. No need to bust out a pressure washer and a foam cannon. The cheap hardware store ones are great for wheels, no rinse etc.
I feel a fool! Bought an IK sprayer based on your other videos for pre washing, only today have I realised I’d bought the foam not the multi! Foam isn’t very good for pre wash…
I use both of them especially for cleaning rims and they are excellent.

Great tip, I need to do that haha
Great advice. I learned a lot
Glad it was helpful!

That’s a good idea too 😊
I was just looking into which one to buy, so this was very useful! Thank you!
No problem! Thanks for watching
Another nice video, Heather. Thank you! I own both sprayers and I use them exactly as you do 🙂 (John from Canada)
Thanks for watching 😊

Cheers Kim 😊 the big IK sprayers are really cool, if I didn’t use too many different products then I’d definitely invest!

Hi Heather, I agree, the multi is a top product and a versatile all rounder 👍👍
Absolutely 👍
@@autocarehqextra I can say this Heather as I got a multi for my birthday last year! 🎂. Have a great weekend 🍻
Thank you for the heads up, that's great advice and i'll look into getting both soon
Thanks for watching!

Thank you! Yeah BH Touchless and Autk Foam are really good in a sprayer
Im sure it was your video where you applied BH Autofoam via an IK sprayer as opposed to an ik foamer. That was a huge moment for me, so thank you
No problem! It works really well in a sprayer tbf
Thank you Heather for this video. I have been interested in one of these sprayers as my Marolex master 2000 plus is starting to fail after 12 years + of use.
That’s really good going with the Marolex! Thanks for watching 😊
I still use a trigger spray bottle to apply a citrus pre-wash which works ok but understand these pump sprayers would make the job more efficient.
They definitely help a lot, I couldn’t be without one now
I have the foamer and it needs a lot of pumping for not not much output which is disappointing. Will eventually end up getting the multi.

That’s a good shout!
👍👍👍👍
I feel a foamer is very nice, just that it loses the pressure so much faster than sprayer and needs pumping constantly
>>>>>> rushes to Amazon to order the sprayer.... 🤣
😂😂

Thanks for watching 😊 have you got one of the handheld formers or the massive ones?
@@autocarehqextra the hand held one
Nice
Hi Heather what are your thoughts on electric sprayers just the hand held type.
I’ve seen some stuff on the cheap Amazon one but I’ve heard the build quality is really poor and it breaks easily. All the others seem quite expensive unfortunately!
@@autocarehqextra Yeah i was thinking about getting one but don't want to waste the money only to use it once and then have it sitting on the self.

I got the pro version with batteries. Got sick of pumping

It’s an easy mistake to make, that’s why I wanted to make this video! Any chance you can exchange it?
@@autocarehqextra no I’ve had it for a while. Look forward to buying and trying the sprayer though!
