This was my first introduction to Vocaloid and still makes me want to cry when I hear it. But this is my favorite version. However much I love Vocaloid, especially the Kagamine twins a human portrays the emotion of this song so much better.
It's been 8 years, I hope you're doing better now. Especially in this pandemic. For me, the lyrics of Perfectionist Complex and Daughter of White resonated and in my loneliest days that's where I visit to comfort myself. Music is really amazing. Nice to know it wasn't just me finding solace here.
People this is clearly dang by Valshe, not Ciel's voice actor! Yes their voice may sound similar, but different singers! Guys, this is a fact. Not because I'm a fan of valshe, nor ciel. Ciel does not have a character song. People think it's his character song cause it suits him perfectly. Guys just don't -.-
Actually, Valshe is a female trap singer, so she has a very wide range of pitches she can reach. She often does covers for Len, but also many other male and female vocaloids. She's not a vocaloid herself, she just sings for various vocaloids.

Every freaking soundless voice video I go on, there has to be a comment that involves Valshe being Ciel Phantomhive's voice actor. Hey guess what? Maaya Sakamoto voiced Ciel and she can sing in both English and Japanese. Plus, look up Cloud 9 by Maaya Sakamoto and that's her singing. So just stop with all the voice acting comments!
I have to admit, I'm cautious about dubs. But the combination or just covers by Valshe and Wotamin are just beautiful to say the least. I was very surprised and happy I watched this. Thanks for posting.
I'm tired of one of the twins dying, like everyday I come home from work in the best possible mood, turn on Kagamine Rin and Len.. Within 10 minutes I'm in the corner bawling like an infant. ;-; Why?!
it's the same story, just told in different perspectives. the first one, soundless voice, is Len telling about how he's taking care or Rin, who is ill. proof of life is Rin's side, of how she wants to convey the feelings she cannot say to Len due to her illness. in the end, Rin supposedly dies. they are basically robots, they can't age, but your impression is right. The thing is that the artists weren't cooperating in the drawing of the story, they just made it up the way thy saw the story (in their own way.).
