I haven't played this since the 90s....I knew at least several people here in Canada who had it somehow & we used the adapter to play it on the SNES. I guess back in the day, these games were only officially released in Japan since DBZ wasn't even out yet in North America, so we missed out on its regional games from the early-mid 90s.
I remember importing this game for my snes. I didnt have the converter, so I shaved the corners off to make it fit into the system. i am pretty sure there was a code for this game too.
I have seen a few comments talking about this game being available only in Japan for snes. But my brother bought it and we played a lot (maybe it explains why it was on japanese).
Probably a bootleg/imported, something along these lines, I have buyuu retsuuden on sega since I'm a kid, and it's exclusive to France and Japan. I'm not from either of these countries.

Man, I remember reading about this game in EGM and thinking it looked amazing. I was pretty disappointed when I found out it played like hot garbage. Cool music though.
