    Thanks for the video. What is the benefit of coremat? Weight? Can i use it to stiffin a planing boat deck? Ive read it doesn’t like vibrations?

      Hello Michael, thank you for your interest in Coremat! Lower weight as opposed to a full fibre laminate is only one of the benefits of Coremat. Many of our customers are boat builders that use Coremat to make their decks. Vibrations is something that can be designed for and I am unfamiliair with this claim so if you could qoute your source I would appreciate it. If you would like the help of our Application Engineers with the incorporation of Coremat in your deck: drop us an email at Composites@lantor.com or visit Lantorcomposites.com!

    This is a good instructional video. How well does Coremat work with typical room temperature curing epoxy systems? Will Coremat tolerate cure under a vaccum-bag?

    • @Lantor
      @Lantor  2 года назад

      Hello Steve, Coremat works well with all typical thermosetting resins. For mould conformity we recommend to use Coremat XM with Epoxy. For vacuum-bag curing and/or vacuum infusion we have the pressure resistant Soric core-materials: www.lantorcomposites.com/textile-foam-cores/soric/

      Thank you for your reply, This Coremat panel used roughly 4 kilograms of resin per square meter. We made a comparison of this laminate with a full glass laminate in our other video: ruclips.net/video/2rBQlUA8YTg/видео.html.
