Stayed up very late one night when sick in 4th grade and discovered DEVO on TV. To this day, I can remember the EXACT feeling of being left speechless at witnessing a magnitude of "cool" that my child brain could barely process. I'm 52 now. Then, now, and forever will I consider DEVO the greatest rock and roll band of my lifetime.
I'm a huge Zappa fan and these guys changed my musical world forever
LOL Mark´s face when that punk jump off the stage.
Sounds great...they still got it after all these years!
Solid proof that DEVO were then and still are now waaaaaay ahead of their time
Awesome cool band!
I saw them on the NuTra tour in Austin, TX. Forty odd years later, still the BEST Frigging live show I ever saw!
When was this videoed? Seems recent... DEVO is similar in some ways to the Rolling Stones....Until Death do we Perform. Good for them....
Looks like footage from the Hardcore DEVO Live Blu-Ray disc, which was performed around 2014 months after Bob 2 died.
Fantastic! We NEED the revolutionary and forward looking culture that bred bands like Devo, because the world is really messed up and we need to finish what was started in the late 60's, 70's, and even 80's.
Major flashbacks of trippin hard! Devo sounded so....rubbery on cid
Genius
Bob2... I still miss you
Damn they sound amazing! What a band!
I love the way Mark threw that guy off the stage in a kind, non offensive manner. He is a genuinely Cool Dude....
Not enough views of that fantastic drummer.
They sound freaking amazing - always an amazing live band
These guys are always great to see.
Brutal
i remember buying their first album....man what decade was that? they were crazy radical for the day and listening to them now, they are just as good and just as radical as they were then. i'm glad i listened to this now version of unrollable urge, the song still holds up and so does the band and you can tell they are having a blast. great work guys, there's nobody like devo. i'm sure i still have that first album, possibly more, there's stacks of rock vinyl here from about 1967 to the end of the LP era. but, vinyl has to be stored flat and that makes going through them a chore.
I remember falling in love with Devo when they appeared on the The Merv Griffin Show with their version of Satisfaction. Also a few years later my first live concert.
Best band ever.
Last show I saw was Austin City Limits concert. A memorable night.
Damn!! DEVO still has it!
Love this band, huge important part of my teenage years. Great to see that they are still going strong!
Was that Andy Roy?
Devo is always great. And just heard yesterday that Josh is the new drummer for Foo Fighters!
best damn rock video on youtube. give it hell guys! you got'm on the ropes now. i still got that first album btw and it ain't goin nowhere.
I see they didn't replace Bob 2. Rip Bob Casale.
Saw them at a packed out concert in Sydney last week. Wow
Awesome DEVO!!!!!!

Have they devolved to being a four piece band now ?
Bob Casale a.k.a. Bob 2 passed away in 2014.
@@mateuszmattias Yes but since then they had added a new fifth member to replace Bob I believe. When did this concert happen ?
DEVOted 🤘🤘🤘
