Magnesium requirements are higher in fibromyalgia because of the constant activation of the central nervous system. Minimum amounts aren’t yet established for fibromyalgia but the understanding according to leading fibromyalgia researchers is it may be as much as twice the RDA or maybe more. It is essential to get enough magnesium in order for the muscle spasms in fibromyalgia to decrease in both frequency and intensity. Women need about 300mg of Magnesium per day. Men need 400mg. So it depends on the nuts and seeds. I usually give how much nutrient you get from each food when I do these videos. You can do the calculations from there knowing how much that food supplies against the background of how much Magnesium you need daily. Usually a good idea is to get your nutrient supply from different food sources as opposed to relying on one source only

@@ritapita1126 That's like avoiding fake olive oil. How do you know who's lying?
We use to eat at Applebee's about three times a week. I would get the olive oil salad almost always with extra olive oil. In 2015 our waiter said that they had switched to vegetable oil in 2005. In 2016 I had a quintuple bypass!
They didn't tell people that and they didn't lower the price.

You're welcome
Dr Joe, how much seeds o e needs to eat a day to covrr our daily recommendations?
Women need about 300mg of Magnesium per day. Men need 400mg. So it depends on the nuts and seeds. I usually give how much nutrient you get from each food when I do these videos. You can do the calculations from there knowing how much that food supplies against the background of how much Magnesium you need daily. Usually a good idea is to get your nutrient supply from different food sources as opposed to relying on one source only
Very informative, thank You.
Glad it was helpful!
