Nas is my all time favorite. When Nas name came up, they whole demeanor changed, you immediately got the vibe that Nas was beyond his time. Havoc mad genuine for reals

I remember the lo- lives and decepticons running while down town and beef with julia richman high school. It got real walking to that 59st train station with your click.

Alot of people dont respect mobb deep for this but they kept there act true hiphop in that sense. Hav spit to wich made it doper, but it was known Havoc was the beatmaker and P strictly rhymed, i think P mighta produced some later beats im not sure. Alchemist helped further develop there sound, hes not one to slouch on either, and is just about on the same tier maybe a little under because Havocs just G status, Alchemist has straight fire beats. When he goes for that gritty NY sound, or flips classical instruments pianos, hes dope with stuff like that.
Mobb Deep was one of few NY rappers back in the day that would really make me almost feel like I’m in a dark alley in the East Coast for a Cali dude like myself. Still my fave East Coast tracks to listen to till this day
