Prodigy rapped on an LL Cool J song I Shot Ya (Remix), and rapped “...illuminati want my mind, soul & my body. Secret society tryin keep their eye on me...”. This was one of the first well known and notable songs to highlight the illuminati.
Jay Z only a year or so later, would go onto to sample this line on a song called D’evils (Devils/The Evils), alongside samples of Snoop Doggs ‘Murder Was The Case’, in which the music video and lyrics clearly demonstrate Snoop selling his soul to the Devil for many reasons and highlights in plain sight how these deals and the industry work. This was on Jay Z’s “highly acclaimed” debut album and was all part of his intuition into the industry and to highlight/illuminate for those that can see, his connection, acceptance and links to illuminati/satanism/freemasonry. To associate these two specific interpolations, also clearly shows that Jay Z has awareness, knowledge and understanding of these areas and the occult. It also displays that alongside the selling of his own soul, that he will now become a vessel for those connected groups, in order to gain perceived acclaim, fame and wealth.
Fast forward. Prodigy, although clearly connected in the industry with family and with links to the elites through his grandfather, regularly and openly speaks about the illuminati, secret societies and other “conspiracy theories” and has had beef with Jay Z.
