How do you see the scope of Kotlin Multiplatform in the upcoming years? Will it pose tough competition to Flutter, or will both coexist without any issues?
@@hrithikmenon7042 I definitely think Kotlin Multiplatform combined with Compose Multiplatform can become a threat to Flutter, taking a chunk of the market. Kotlin is a solid language, very similar to Swift, and the stack with Compose is something Android Native developers are already using. At the same time I think Flutter is maturing nicely, has great adoption by both developers as well as companies, has a good head start and has a promising road ahead. In the end it's all a matter of adoption and if the tool is the right fit. They'll both have their use-cases, React-native is also still very much alive. I'm not too worried for now, Flutter is doing great 👌
I struggled to start using kotlin for weeks and i cant even do anything i started on flutter and i started working within the same day i downloaded it and made the simulator work
I believe WebAssembly is very promising, and it's continuously improving. It will enable Flutter and other languages to achieve near-native performance on the web. However, I think Flutter still needs improvement when it comes to desktop application development.
@@YassineMikeAlpha Definitely! I feel like Flutter has matured nicely when it comes to mobile development, but there's room for improvement in other platforms for sure 💯
Not really KMM is not mature and not very multi Platforms like Flutter , KMM only business Logic Can be Shareble now flutter adds New featurs to use jetpack compose
Thanks for the video, I've been having some doubts about it
@@ghassanalkaraan You're welcome! Any worries in particular?

@@hrithikmenon7042 KMM is really a serious challenge to Flutter. It has the potential to wipe out Flutter completely.

Kotlin Multi platform (KMM) is better than Flutter
@@gb_kash I would still give the edge to Flutter at the moment, but definitely keeping my eye on KMP with Compose 👀
Flutter is to cross platform as python is to machine learning
