I've watched all of your Christmas videos to date, and this looks to be one of the easiest to repair. Would be a good one for beginners to learn the tricks of the trade. Thanks as always for your awesome content, we appreciate it.
Motor died due to excessive grease (Very common with Lemax) and not from the power switch, but I would still suggest turning this off first prior to turning off power strip.
Haven’t opened mine yet. Quit a few days after I bought it. Should have returned but had thrown away receipt. Where do you get a motor from? Will I need extra wire if it’s the motor?
It is a common use gear in most Lemax pieces that is "impossible" to find. But after putting out a request to see if we can get some made, it has been done. Impossible Gear - www.happyholidaysparts.com/product-page/lemax-replacement-40t-to-12-t-2-5mm-loose-gear

Great repair can you tell me the spec of replacement motor so I can source it please, many thanks.
How do you stop the squeaking sound? Thank you
Normal squeaks from within can be solve with PTFE lubricants. You would have to open it and clean and re-lubricate the moving/rubbing parts.
@RandomJunkChannel would love a little tutorial how to do it. I think my motor squeaks and runs loud.
It was plugged in to a strip, but was always turned off by the switch. ?.

Lemax is always breaking down.
Would you explain what the 'impossible gear' is please?
