Without doubt , Galeon are the most innovative name in boating, with genuinely useful innovations.
What a boat, does everything and with the day bed upstairs two families can have a week away, such a smart skybridge, love it very very much
That flybridge cover sold me on this boat!
Here take my money!
Awesome vid, for a minute there I thought I was watching Aquaholic
Great post, keep up the good work! 👍
That is the best boat design I've seen in a long time! Well done Galeon! I can't afford one though, sorry about that. But if I could, that would be the boat I would pick. The revolving sofa is genius and the sky deck cover is not far behind and I love the simple helm seat that turns 90'. Brilliant concept.
Isn't it? I'm very impressed. Unfortunately I also can't even think about buying one but dreaming is for free.
This is a real cracker and some absolutely brilliant design features - Galeon certainly are pushing the boundaries and I’d be surprised if some of the other boat yards don’t stand up and have a look!
Excellent tour too Hugo, I can tell you’re sold on this one 🙂
Thanks Ben, I always enjoy boats with a difference.
I've said it before and I'll most likely say it again, but this is the one, it has absolutely everything 👌
Wow ! This is one of the best boats i have seen. I want one !
You Sir, have done a wonderful job of informing your viewers of everything on this boat and that is what I look for....totally loved it...
Thank you so much Diane, I do my best to please!
Interesting boat.
For presentation always clear the windows from blinds or curtains. Makes a big difference in the impression. Ceiling windows are typically called skylights.
Noted! Thanks for the feedback
It's just me, my wife and our daughter...we could EASILY live on this boat, quite happily. Hmm...maybe I'll sell off our house, and everything else, and go live in the Caribbean on this boat? 😂😂
Gorgeous design, and love the practicality all around it. On the flip side, I worry that with so many moving parts, maintenance could eventually become a nightmare...
What's to worry about with sliding chairs and folding platforms ??? Lol dont act like it is all electrical they are all still manually operated
@@MonicaHolly143 you probably didn't notice the bow seating setup: it's electrical. Also, mechanical hinges need maintenance too. Folding balconies are sexy, but they also increase the maintenance bill.
Exactly, but I have noticed...originally the fold out bar top looked ..lame, but now they have an entire stainless frame to hold it up better, so they do learn. And that swivel back cockpit round table is just too clever. Luv these things.
I doubt that people buying those yachts for the last money, I bet, they can cover the maintenance bills
I got a little over excited there when he went up to the skydeck helm and thought the glass was a Heads Up Display - now that would be incredible! This is an amazing boat which would be so much fun for a weekend with friends and family.
Great tour of this great boat. As you rightly said, the versatility and all the innovative ideas are all very practical, and will be used by many.
What a challenge for the engineers to accomplish all those new crazy design ideas.... they have some real geniuses working at Galeon....
from Spain
This is a beautiful boat, no doubt. But, having owned a few boats, I'll tell you what I see. I see a boat with approximately 5247 things that can malfunction. I have learned the best boat to own is the simple one. I have no desire to spend hours either working on something that isn't working or sitting on the dock waiting for the repair man to finish. I don't want to sound like an old grouch but for me, the simple boat is the happiest boat to own. Don't shoot me. I said it was a beautiful boat.
25:32 I get your point. If it’s used occasionally then it may be okay, however, if it’s a family with children, with the boat being lived on more often than not, then there may be a lot of downtime for repairs and maintenance.
One to charter not to own
Also *shoots you*
These boats actually hold up really well mechanically and all. Also, the people buying these aren’t concerned with repair bills to be honest.
Well done Hugo you've just shown me my new favourite yacht of this size, I hope they do a 65 with all the great ideas this one has, just perfect. 👍🇬🇧❤️
Cheers!
A brilliant boat and great review. All that innovation, the likes of Princess and Fairline need to be looking at things like those drop balconies, if I was able to afford a 50 foot boat right now it’s the make I’d be buying.
Love the boat, but I wonder how long before things start breaking and how much will maintenance be?
Perfect size and wonderful configuration.
A fantastic boat Galeon have added to their range. It’s one of very few boats with a flybridge I’d actually consider if funds allowed.
I think the only compromise is the day heads with its shower/toilet combo. And if that’s the only compromise I could live with it.
Thanks for another great tour Hugo.
My pleasure
A very in depth tour well done and thank you.
10:17
That opening side bar area is magnificent
Great tour of a great boat. Thank you very much for the detailed walk-through!
And thank you for your kind words
Asides the motorized Baal sitting which seems unnecessary, this is hands down a Swiss Army knife indeed.
And the fact that you have options means you can do without things you don’t want… it’s awesome
amazing yacht. Galion has so much smart solutions. tender garage is so helpful and the fly cover is a dream.
I once had a 390 Fly for charter in Germany and dealing with the covers every evening was no fun at all. I think this style of flybridge-cover will be adopted by others soon.
What makes me thinking is if there are any long term experiences with all those electric gizmos. I could imagine that after five to ten years of use in the north or baltic sea they won't work that fine any more. However...love the boat. Great video, well done.
🙏

I love those revolving couches designs.
Plus, it also rotates the barbecue around to the cockpit side, if you want it. For example if it's raining or rough weather and you have covers over the outdoor couch area. Obviously if it's too rough you wouldn't be using a barbecue, but if it's a little choppy, or the boat is motoring along, might just want to keep that barbecue in the cockpit area, rather then standing at the back of that unprotected sunbathing area.
Yes, that barbecue would be close to the decks floor level at the cockpit area, but that just means you could use a bean bag...or a fireproof one anyway, while cooking.
3:07
Yes. I do love that revolving couch design with the two fridge/freezers. Brilliant and simple design.
Best boats on the market right now! Wonderful innovation ❤👍
The Galeon 500 fly has been my fav boat for a long time - although out of my price range for the foreseeable future (and by foreseeable I mean probably permanently). This looks almost identical to the 500 fly in terms of layout (apart from the skydeck obviously) , which is a great idea (another great idea from Galeon!) and is probably a better option for UK boating where the flydeck is maybe not used so much. IMO I don't think the fabric option for the seating looks the best - if you look at the 500 fly review (from a reviewer that we probably all know and love) the option with the light fabric and walnut just looks more luxurious - but that is just another option and opinion. Just love Galeon boats! The fact that you have a garage for a minijet on a boat of this size is increadible! And the drop balconies and rotating aft cockpit seating is just brilliant!!!!!
The title says it all, no click baiting here
Very very interesting
Well done to the manufacturer
Without being negative
I would like to see it when it is 3 years old
But please do not get me wrong
Very well thought out
What an ideia the rotating seat, how 🤔 the designer thought that? And the grill goes to the covered area, so if start raining you can keep the barbecue running. Just loved it. All boats should have it. I usually hate flybridge boats but again they managed to get an A+ regarding the horrible structure above the boat by just removing it, again the simplest way to get it done and nobody thought about it before. A boat to be studied by the competition, a lot of mind-boggling gadgets and ideas that after you see turns immediately a must have. Congrats!

Wow, I love that folding cover for the flybridge. Great for boating here in Northren Europe, where you can presumably use a lower helm for boating when it gets into the colder times of the year.
I presume thus is still a warm weather boat though.
Agree! ..This screams S.Fl. warm weather boat just not sure how I'll get it to Miami . But your right all the convertible features and gadgets make it Intracoastal and Keys ready . Again,Great tour . Thanks for sharing your passion and expertise mate !
@@brianhansard3215 Thank you.
@@brianhansard3215 it'll do the full loop It has a 19' arch
I am sure there are lots of excellent design ideas that will be appearing with other manufacturers soon!
Fairline 58 incoming 😃.
Absolutely gorgeous, such detail. Do any of the rooms have air con?
excellent video loved thenks
Very nice walk through, thank you!
Thanks Robert
Absolutely love the sky bridge over the 500 Fly's design. Only thing that concerns me is the lower helm seat, seems like its not designed with the journey in mind, just the destination. The seat has very little positioning and adjustability compared to other boats. Apart from that it's an absolute dream boat.
Love both the 500 & this. I’d be proud to own either.
This is my favorite. Love the fly deck, it would be great gorgeous exploring the rivers and canals of the UK and Europe. As well as, the great American Loop and inland water way to Alaska frome Seattle.
nice tour Hugo thank you.
Cheers, it was a fun one to do
Nice one Hugo 🥳🇬🇧
Easily my favourite boat for a long time…….. love the low top but still accessible flybridge. I often feel these sub 65ft boats look top heavy with a full flybridge……..not this though…
I’m not too fussed with the rotating cockpit/garage, but love the drop downs and the deck space at anchor……
I’m a fan of shafts for simplicity and longevity, more so on V drives and a pair of lazy 11 litre sixes would be bliss……. even the smaller D8’s would be ample.
The whole layout is a delight and a great use of space…….. the wood finish is too dark for me but I can easily see it in a lighter hue and it would be perfect.
Normally I favour an aft cabin layout, out of greed for accommodation, but this is ample…… sadly, it’s about £1m above my reach at present, but if they want a test pilot….. I’m available 🙂🇬🇧
🙏
With the Skydeck "cover" closed, does it make noise at speed? Fantastic motor yacht. Great review. What's the speeds and MPG. Thanks
What an awesome fly bridge. When i see boats like this though. I have a feeling they are great when new, but after a decade, the electrical gremlins would do your head in
Enjoyed ur videos!!!!
What is the draft?
What is the hieght( bridge clearance)?
If they changed the wet head by putting the wash basin in the shower cubicle and the toilet outside the shower cubicle it would make a much more workable arrangement, other than that it's a great boat.
hi great tour - this boat IS truly like a transformer vehicle!!! What a beautiful and versatile design. Is there any kind of canopy that can go up on the flybridge? it's a great layout, but completely open to the (sometimes harsh) sun.
Totally awesome. . I want one for sure. I love the eucalyptus wood amongst many other things. It gives it a very modern look while still maintaining the beauty of real wood. Suggested retail price as shown??
Excelent demostraction
Are the wipers supposed to be in that position when they are not in use , they seem to be obstructing the view out the front when driving ?
absolutely love this boat 🚢, great presentation, now all I do is win the Euromillions lol 👍👍
Thanks Jules
How are you supposed to sit in those rotating seats once It’s facing the sea , climb up to it ?
That's some boat. Indication of costs? Shame that inner helm seat couldn't incorporate adjustment somehow when underway as that would truly be great. A side door from the helm would be amazing to see there for single handing
Another level I’m sure it’s another level on the price
I don‘t know much about Galeon, I always thought they were targeting „low budget customers“. How does Galeon‘s level of finish and build quality compare to Sunseeker and Princess yachts?
Great innovation and idea , I would be slightly worried about the quality and when all this systems get older 😑
Where is the crew cabin ?
Great job, thank you!
My pleasure
That fly bridge cover should be designed to automatically knock over the seats flat as it closes.
Did he get up on the fly bridge???
James and Nick always say, sometimes you have to compromise on a boat, you can’t have it all. For a £1.5m yacht, you’d expect a better shower/wc configuration in the day head, better lower helm seat (no excuse for this!), and not to have the washing machine in the master cabin. Love Galeon, but this one wouldn’t be for me.
Very much a "Nifty Fifty" !
In this case Galeon, new well planned innovations - revolving seats sky deck cover. The balconies offer more meeting places for guests with very adaptable seats for the balcony - sorry - the right hand side of the boat. The ideas just keep on coming, excellent but everything has its place that meets the needs of the owner.
Galeon takes boating to whole 'nother level as the Wayans would say
Mashaallah, ❤️ thats supposed 2 Be
Mükemmel...
For the port and starboard drop downs why not just shape the sides of the boat to be actually wider and not need the drop downs in the first place! = More space 😏
I'd like to see the bow bench's mechanical, not electric.
You forgot to say, how much?
look in description. Starting price: £1,020,000 (ex. VAT)
With options 1.5million pounds I'd guess! It's not as exspensive as a sunseeker or princess but still a well priced boat! The exterior seating does not look comfortable just a cushion on hard fibreglass! If you can't afford the top boats this is a great option! The interior looks well done but exsterior looks cheapish to be honest! Happy sailing all and God bless all 🙏❤🛥⚓
Interesting.. build quality seems good but could be a nightmare for the second owner because of all the electric motors, moving parts etc.. do people use this stuff? Balconies is unusable in port.. interior design on a least this version may not be up to everyone’s taste…impressing boat in a way but just to much in some way..I fully understand that they have to create their own niche to differ from the English and Italian competition though
Great boat design, lots of useful spaces. But that has to be the most tacky looking bedding I have ever seen.
You turn the seats around but how the hell do you access them?
I want one!!!!!😀🍺🍸🥃🥃🍸🍺⚡️
