    Dak struggles on the field against good teams. Not just playoffs. That’s why they’re reluctant to pay him. They can see him play.

      @TILIS214 2 месяца назад +1

      Let’s go with that…
      He struggles vs good teams right?
      I see that as more of a testament to his game bc if that’s the case, how did he have an MVP season (we know Lamar shouldn’t have won anyway), or even All-Pro?
      He led the league in TDs so what are other QBs doing so much better if they can’t top him?

    Let him walk. I love Dak as a person but let's call it like it is. He's below average when facing teams over .500. He just can't win the games that matter. As a Boys fan I'm fine with moving on and letting him hit the free agent market.

    • @bengaltiger96
      @bengaltiger96 3 месяца назад +1

      Then I get the ugly feeling that he's gonna win it all somewhere else because Dallas is either misusing him, not playing to his strengths, or trying to make him what he's not.

    • @DizzyDazzle717
      @DizzyDazzle717 3 месяца назад +1

      @bengaltiger96 There's always that chance. My counter to that though would be this. He's been surrounded by talent pretty much from the start. He's had amazing RBs in Zeke and Pollard. At 1 time he had Amari Cooper, Ceedee Lamb and Dalton Shultz with Zeke. Not to mention the defense has been more than solid the last 3 seasons. Just look at last season. We beat up on teams in our division that were below .500 but we got lucky against the Lions, lost to San Fran, Miami and Buffalo and 1 loss to Philli. I suppose you could blame it on coaching and maybe we aren't using Daks talents best. I just personally feel that every big game. Every game that it seems like "okay this our chance to prove that we are a different team this year" Dak just either has a sub par or just down right bad game.

    They could have locked him up for 8 seasons at about 42 a year a couple of years ago, and they'd look like geniuses now and have money to spare, but they are morons, and now they're gonna end up footing a 57 a year deal that is going to crush their roster. So Cowboys.

    • @tbrown0086
      @tbrown0086 3 месяца назад +3

      No, they couldn't have. Dak and his agent wouldn't sign more than a 3 year contract. That was one of their demands. COWBOYS were trying to sign 4 or more year contract at the time.

  • @tonyreyes5256
    @tonyreyes5256 3 месяца назад +2

    The Cowboys FO is horrible in these negotiations. They act all big and bad and ALWAYS lose these. Dak will get paid, CeeDee will get paid and Parsons will probably get paid. All of them could have been signed at least 1 year ago. The Cowboys FO operates in their own version of reality.

    The issue with Dak's extension isn't the amount. Rather it's a question of, is he the right guy to do this for? Does anyone want to pay big money to a guy who isn't a franchise QB? Does it make sense to give a market setting deal for a guy who falters in the playoffs like Dak?

    Dak is gonna get paid. Just not by the Cowboys. It's already written on the wall once they didn't extend him before free agency started to clear up some cap space. Extending him now would make absolutely no sense because of the CeeDee and Micah contracts still looming. Dak couldn't go far at $40 mil a yr. What makes you think he'll go far at $60 mil a yr?
