Klx 110R vs Klx 110RL. To Clutch or not to Clutch…

I always wondered what was faster, better and funner. The klx 110r or the klx 110rl. I love the auto clutch when I get tired of ripping around, but definitely something special about being able to drop the clutch and rip!

Sold my ttr110 which was great bike. Got klx110l I’ll say it’s a lot more comfortable of a ride ripping thru trails.

Definitely go with the the klx 110 rl with the clutch I have one and done it up and it’s great.

I should have took a video of the clutched bike before I sold it. After putting a few hours on it you really realize how tippy the extra 2” makes it. Constantly flipping it over backwards, and a rear fender takes about an hour to change haha.

I think the L comes with longer cables due to the taller suspension. I was able to put the tusk pit bike bars on mine with the stock cables. I did cut the bars to 29 inches though.

The pilot jet is too small on many of these play bikes. Go up to the next size pilot jet to solve the "cold blooded" problem.

After putting hours on both bikes, the clutched one is a very crashy bike. Way too top heavy with the extra 2” height. Hard to come out of corners without flipping it lol

Basically nothing. They are not high strung race motors, so I just rode them like I usually do

What makes the rl taller? Wheels or suspension

Suspension. And not better suspension, just different mount on the rear and longer forks on the front
