I hope by the time I finish school I could possibly pick up a car and have it transferred to the US and work on it then once I fully know the language try and find a job in Japan and then ship the car back over and have fun :D

@Nabiili they were made between 96-00 and the price really varys on the condition. sometimes you may get lucky and get an awesome one for cheap but best bet is to look around. i got mine with quite a lot done to it for dirt cheap

I'm guessing you're saying he will briefly lose traction if he were to perform a solid shift. Well the Nissan Skyline does that too, and it changes from 4WD to RWD and back progressively. Now, the Chasers are only RWD but it shouldn't be a big deal. Personally, I like my shifts to be abrupt when I'm trying to go fast; I'm not a fan of the RPMs going high and then actually hearing them go down just before I shift. I find it more entertaining when they reach, and I shift.

Its not hard to get the 1jz engine in the US, this specific car would still be a grey market (its not older than 1988.) You could import it and obtain grey market insurance but the hurdles to do so are great and many. However, you can get the 1jz in the Lexus SC300. The Lexus IS300 and GS300 both had the 2jz. Old comment but what the hay.
