😂
Drum sequencing sucks to me. Only thing stopping me from using it as a primary DAW.
You need to to try using NI Battery for drums in Cakewalk
@@dj_instruments937 what were you using to sequence your drums in Cakewalk?
I thought you said cakewalk was going to sell their DAW.. because of that, I threw it out!!! Besides that.. I really liked cakewalk!! However.. if i have buy a DAW.. I'll buy Ableton!!
P.s. ..I actually thought what they did was DIRTY.. TO GET EVERYBODY USED TO THE DAW.. THEN ANNOUNCE ITS ONLY FREE UNTILL THEY SELL IT!!
THATS KINDA SHITTY!! YOU MAKE TRACKS ON IT.. THEN YOU GOTTA BUY IT NOW TO ACCESS YOU BEATS??!!
I ACTUALLY HATE THE COMPANY SONAR.. YEA RIGHT! POODOO
They are the ones who stated that they would be going to a paid model last year and never released the product until a month ago as subscription only... The Cakewalk by Bandlab version is still available and it is still free to use ... It does not have any restrictions to use it... You don't have to buy Sonar if you don't want to so just keep using it until you can't and that will only be if windows decides to update and the date is no longer compatible... No need to be angry about it there are other DAWs out there .. I do have a question why Ableton?... Have you used it before? do you actually like it? and it cost more than 3 years of subscription from bandlab 🤯... Let me know
@XELOhh1 I know ableton is expensive.. yes I've used it over ten years.. I really like it. However, I've used sonar like 20 years ago.. or when they came out.. so I was really excited to hear when bandlab and cakewalk was talking about doing something for all artists rich and poor and that whole lecture. So I was ecstatic. So when they did the flip flop kamala spin then asked for cash.. I was highly disappointed. Plus I'm someone who strongly feels an artist who can produce with less, free DAWs etc and give the professionals a run for they money.. is a true artist and thought cakewalk shared that vision..
Plus I don't want to have songs made with cakewalk I can't use
@XELOhh1 Love your videos.. forgot to tell you..
Dope☆
When they chose the name 'Cakewalk' it was the right name. Cakewalk means easy to achieve. This D.A.W. is most definitely easy to use. It is not difficult to achieve amazing results.
@@ServingMyJesus that's a good way to put it... Thanks for the comment...😀🙏🏾
Mac version asap
Agreed... And I don't even have a Mac...😀🙏🏾
Still using it and free with unlimited Tracks.
😆
😂 that's what's up...😀🙏🏾
Nothing Defeats Cakewalk. There is no DAW that has Events List this good and I am working at Karaoke Companies who always looks at controls being used.
I would say Reaper but that's just me 😂... You can make your own event list and make them into it's own tool bar in Reaper... But I understand what you are saying Cakewalk is definitely a solid DAW... Thanks for the comment...😀🙏🏾
Are you kidding? I doubt you tried any other DAWs if you think so.
@@mhavock I tried cubase and fl studio. I dont like how they interpret rpn and nrpn and other controls for the midi to function its attack decay and etc.
@@mhavock And also I still use programming language CAL scripting until now. No other programs have that.
@@XELOhh1 The NRPN and RPN also doesnt work the same way as other softwares. Hehe. And to me sys x work perfectly in cakewalk. And to add I still make calscripts until now and other manipulations for cakewalk so thats why for me its the best DAW there is. Hehe.
