Just wanted to really quickly respond to a few things in your video... - We tried to make Blastable really simple to use for inexperienced users which is why we have the Create and Manage menus, though they could essentially be the same thing for an experienced user such as yourself. As far as the colors go, we like to be a little outside the box and not use the same boring blues and greys a lot of companies use lol. - When creating Segments, you CAN create a Segment of say people at your company domain. You’d just choose: Contact Information / Email / Contains / CompanyDomain to do it. - We just implemented the subject limit of 60 characters for email best practices/deliverability, so will get the AI copywriter updated to make sure it does not go over that - good call!
- We also just updated our internal email template last week and will get the responsiveness fixed on phones - thanks for that... seems out test team missed that one. - We’ll take your feedback on the automations and opt-in form builders and make some improvements for sure :) We upgraded our hosting for this launch, so that seems to be the permissions issue with uploading the images, but will be updated asap. Also, to answer your questions, for the Custom Timed Autoresponders on the Pro Plans, that means you can time it down to the minute for when you want them sent out. Plus Plans can only send on a daily basis. Advanced Segment Creation gives you a lot more detailed options when creating Segments as well as allows you to have more conditions vs. the Plus Plans that are little more basic. Thanks Justin. I am happy you found some value in my video. Regarding adding the Manage/Create as an attempt to try and make the tool easy, I would push back on that a bit. There are standard conventions for software UX and any time you go against those you risk making the tool more complex, not less. So you now have 12 menu items, where 6 would do. Thanks for clarifying the segmentation option. I think you could change the name for that option to be something like "Other" or "Custom" which would make it easier for the user to know further customization is available. I have no problems with your brand colors, they just don't need to be so prevalent. Great to hear about your mobile responsive updates that are coming. How about form uploads? Will those be fixed soon? I'm just trying to be helpful, so take what you want from this message (and video) and ignore the rest. 👍

Hi Anil, I only use Cleanshot for the screen recording. I use a real camera for video and record to an SD card. They are combined and edited in Final Cut Pro.
Actually had dinner in Vegas with the founder two years ago, and at the time, he was pretty cocky about not caring about users, as enterprise clients were the focus. Super weird he'd now bring it to Appsumo. Makes me wonder what happened... Maybe he lost his main enterprise client that kept the lights on? something's off with this one and I'm not just talking about the choice of brand colors haha!! How'd this compare with Tarvent in your opinion Dave?!
Hey Derek, thanks so much for the comment and speculation, but you've got it all wrong. At the time, I said our main focus was on enterprise clients and there was nothing I said about not caring about our users. We care a lot about all our users which is why we go out of our way to provide over the top support to them. There's a lot of reasons to do a launch on AppSumo (besides keeping the lights on which may be your experience), but for us it's to get more exposure, expand our user base and improve our product. As a business expert, I'm sure you'd agree that most businesses need a good balance of regular clients and enterprise level clients and that feedback from customers in invaluable in inproving the product and user experience for everyone.
