Trust me, the watch spotter gangs in London will notice an explorer a mile away For me, a perfect travel watch has to be a GMT, my current favourite is Zulu time, and a great saving on the Tudor GMT offering
I have the current model Explorer and have a new Ranger on the way. I only ever wear my Explorer on leather, because I don't like the extreme taper of the bracelet on my (smaller than average) 185mm wrist and can't get a perfect fit with the EasyLink. I should probably sell the Explorer.
One need not be too poor to own an explorer to appreciate this watch. They are two different animals and the Tudor deserves to be appreciated on its own merits. Many watch reviewers make this comparison and quite lazily, I might add. Having them both in hand it is immediately apparent they are apples and apple sauce.
The Ranger is really out of nowhere but surprisingly is a fantastic issue. I tend to agree with you that this may be a better watch than the Explorer if you analyze purely from functional perspective. I order this watch and will hardly decide a keeper between those two pieces when the Ranger arrives. Bravo Tudor!
I was on my way through London at Heathrow heading back to the US 4 days ago (9/28/22) and of course I had to go into the Watches of Switzerland in the International terminal. Finally got to see the Ranger in person (my Tudor AD sucks and rarely ever has stock). They had the bracelet version and with the power of my US dollar (sorry UK) I was able to buy it at a really good price. I wrapped it up and took it home. Finally on wrist I will say that this is an impressive watch in my mind. I know this is supposed to be a re-interpretation of an older Ranger but I can't help but think of the Rolex Explorer 1016 from the past. This may not be a Tudor hit. I think the 39mm Pelagos and Black Bay Pro have taken that role, but it is a really solid contender for people looking for a great field watch. As long as they don't listen to too many negative reviews before they try it on wrist, which is where this watch wants to live. From a male perspective this watch is like a really nice looking woman who doesn't wear a lot of make-up and puts on nice, but not flashy clothing or jewelry, and can carry a very interesting conversation. At the end of a date you just want her! That's the girl I have and so is this Ranger.
Love the fact it's not too thick and all brushed, looks super efficient and well made. Not a watch for the Explorer owner as it's too similar, but a great quality/price ratio which makes it a strong choice for a first quality watch. Seems that Tudor got it just right, Thank you for the video Ash, enjoy Greece!
Just told someone that I had stopped reading reviews on this watch and then this pops into my notifications. Agree the all brushed finish did this for me and was probably the reason why I walked out of the boutique with one on my wrist along with the clean legible uncluttered dial. Was also my first quality/luxury watch. 2 days on wrist and I love it.
Just got the new 39mm T-Ranger for my BD gift from my wife. I love it more than any of my Rolexes and Omega Speedy. Its simplicity and the color of the dial is quite mesmerizing and it really grows on me each day I’m wearing. I suspect this will grow in value too over time like my 25 year old Rolex GMT II. I do have to wait for a while in the United States. It’s not easily available like I thought it would. Thanks for the video!
I wasn’t a fan going by the pics of it online but tried one on today at my ad and loved it. My wrist is a little large for an explorer 36 so this hit the sweet spot for me and hopefully add one to my collection soon.
Finally picked one up 2 weeks ago during a trip to another city. 6 days later I got a text from a local ad to tell me they had one. Typical. I’m loving the t fit clasp, very handy and the dial is plain and very readable in most lights
Beautiful watch and brilliant reasoning on why it’s a good travel watch. Also love the Explorer which I hope to get one day soon. I will check out the Tudor ranger now too.
My AD called me to offer me the opportunity to be first on their list for the Ranger. I declined, not because I didn’t rally really want it but because I have the 39mm Explorer and they are too similar to warrant the money. This will be a big seller for Tudor, lovely watch! Great video Ash (as always).
I'm biased because I owned one, but you Sir, are the online watch collector channel who never seen one but gives the most objective opinion on it. Busy and blingy seem to be all the subjectivity of manh reviewers, but I got this for your first reason. I needed a high quality lowkey travel watch and the ranger is certainly perfect.
I had this watch on my radar but your helpful review followed by my try-on in person convinced me to take the plunge on the Ranger this evening. I’m so excited for the new addition.
The one on the strap is nicest in my opinion. I'm not a massive Tudor fan, but I would totally consider this new Ranger for casual/weekend/holiday wear.
I just purchased a Ranger while on a trip to Tokyo for business and stopped in a Tudor boutique. This something I can't do in NorCal. The design of this model was just what I was looking for in my next watch. The clean unassuming face with a brushed steel case/bracelet and solid build quality that doesn't attract attention. This fits my style of a luxury daily driver, well done Tudor.
Thank you for answering my question in detail. I really appreciate that. The new Ranger is indeed a very good option for a almost any occasion. Cheers from Hamburg, Berend
I know people keep saying this was a boring release, but for me I love highly legible watch faces with simple (sterile) dials. I know everyone wanted a 36mm but then the same people would complain that it’s a direct copy of the Rolex Explorer. I can’t wear a 36mm watch, I have an old Omega Seasmaster I used to scuba dive with but if I put it on now, it looks like I’m wearing a child’s watch. I ordered a Pelagos FXD and a Black Bay Pro the day before this release and I may end up with a full collection of Tudor watches at this rate. A few months ago I didn’t understand why people even liked Tudor but their recent releases have completely changed my opinion on them
I owned a Tudor for several months a year ago and I'm in no hurry to buy another one. The movement in mine performed outside of COSC both on the wrist and on a timegrapher; the hour markers on the dial were quite crudely made and sloppily filled with lume and one also had visible scuffs and scratches which could be seen with the naked eye; and finally, the bezel kept binding at 12 o'clock. I also wasn't impressed with the quality of the hands, as I've seen better finished hands on other brands at this price point. On the positive, the lume glowed brightly and the bracelet was robustly constructed. I'm not kidding when I say that Longines produce a higher quality, more reliable and better performing watch for less money. Also, beware of the many snobbish comments online, about how Tudor is superior to other brands e.g. TAG Heuer, or how owing a Tudor will make you a 'watch guy' or expert, as they are entirely misinformed. The truth is that many of the so-called luxury brands, source various parts from the same suppliers to achieve a merely adequate quality and no more so, than their target makert can discern. Buy a Tudor if you like the look of it, how it fits your wrist and with your style, but don't be under any illusions that it's 'better' than other brands and don't fall prey to the hype and put yourself to any unnecessary inconvenience when buying one. My first memory of Tudor was in the late 90s when a new Aquanaut model was in the window of my local retailer and some of the applied hour markers had fallen off and were gathered at the bottom of the dial. Back then, that particular retailer was very firm and said 'if you want a Rolex buy a Rolex'. Asside from the supply and demand issue, I think this advice still holds true.
Good morning Anthony, I'm sorry to learn of your disappointment with Tudor. Other owners have also had problems, notably the date wheel issue with the MT5652 movement, and some fit and finish problems with early examples of other models. I have two Tudors, a BB58 and a GMT. Both have been excellent, but they were bought when production had settled down. The GMT movement in particular has been outstanding: the watch hasn't been reset since October last year. The hour and date can, of course, be adjusted without hacking the movement. I agree that the Swiss watch industry is somewhat incestuous, and I feel that their assumed status is down to successful marketing more than proven quality which is a shame. As with all purchases though, knowledge is power: if we do our research we should be OK.
I have bought many Tudors and they’ve always been flawless, even compared to much pricier watches. What I don’t understand is why you paid for a watch with “visible to the naked eye” flaws, and even less why you didn’t return it when you found out it didn’t perform to COSC standards, which is a clear sign of a defective unit.
@@robertlock6041 Hello Robert, I'd be happier if there was a way to deal with the brand directly for after sales and warranty, particularly if there remains a good chance you'll be needing it, so as to not have to contend with the friction that their authorised dealer network brings. They are not terrible watches and it's not a terrible brand, but as I said, I'm not willing to entertain any inconvenience to pick one up, such as wait lists or the attitude of retail staff.
@@giusepperocchi2979 because of the hype pure and simple. At that moment, they sold within minutes and it wasn't straight forward to be able to buy another one, had I sent it back. I'm not affaid to admit I made a mistake, I should have sent it back, under what used to be called the distance selling regulations and accepted that the brand wasn't likely to be for me. Most buyers wouldn't notice nor care about the things I've mentioned, for instance they wouldn't care to observe under a jeweller's loope the cause of what to the naked eye is a dull / hazy looking hour marker, namely scratches and scuffs during assembly. Neither would they test the movement in different positions and determine it was performing objectively worse than other watches which aren't even chronometer rated yet punch above their weight.
@@sts6761 I no longer own the watch. The AD wasn't local to me and the nearest one isn't particularly approachable. Many ADs regard warranty claims as a nuisance rather than an obligation, they also fail to explain to the service centre what the issue is and can also package watches poorly. Poor communication results in sending a watch back multiple times where the AD has written down the fault incorrectly on the card - I've had this happen to me more than once. Also, if you buy a different brand, there can be no need to go to the AD as other brands deal with customers directly and send you a service pouch with prepaid label and insurance. I've owved a watch from one brand who arranged collection of the watch from me at a location of my choosing (so I didn't even have to go to the post office) and they covered all of the costs of it going overseas. Their turn around time for the repair was less than 2-weeks - that particular brand operates at a lower price point than Tudor. I've indicated in my other comments that I personally, was disappointed with the value of the product and I don't have the passion for it.
Hi Ash, this is a very pleasant style of shooting videos. I like the short format. On the subject of today, I think Tudor are on it with the Ranger. Excellent watch for the price and much more wearable in this day and age where you simply cannot go everywhere wearing a Rolex. A guy in Amsterdam got robbed of his Rolex watch sitting outside a restaurant in broad daylight. It was all over the news last week.
I own a Rolex Pepsi that I unfortunately would not take with me when I travel. But a Grad Seiko GMT or a Longines Zulu time seem to be good alternatives to this Tudor. Thanks for the video.
I took the bracelet off my Ranger and put it on my BB58. Perfect fit and now I have micro adjustment and I got rid of the fake rivets. I put the Ranger in a nato
Great video. Friendly counterpoint - for the same money you can get a Ball Engineer III Marvelight. It is a much better watch in build quality, finish, movement and pedigree. Or consider the Ball Maverick GMT. This watch does it all.
It's a really classic watch for every occasion. I wear a Longines Conquest 39mm Automatic and I find it to be a good alternative for the Ranger and the Explorer.
New to your channel, good review I was very fortunate in obtaining a stainless steel strap Ranger from the Tudor Boutique in Bristol on Sunday, I am wearing it as I write this.
I bought it for a daily and so far I love it. It’s 20mm lug width, so it fits all the rubber, leather and NATO straps I already own. I’ll probably get a BlackBay Pro next for the perfect travel watch alongside my daily Ranger.
Nice review cheers mate you've given all the knowledge I needed to know on the ranger and earned a subscriber! ;) Would you be kind enough to review the black bay 36mm?!!
At the Rundle Cup recently in Tidworth I noticed a lot of CWC 72 G1098 watches from Silvermans being used……NATO straps in regimental colours to the fore……the correct watch for polo.
Great video. As always, very informative. This watch is growing on me. I prefer the white numerals, but then it would just be an Explorer. For the price, a very good option for an everyday tool watch.
Ash I think the 36mm Explorer (which I own) and the Ranger can exist in the same collection. My move would be to add the Ranger on the cool rubber / hybrid strap which adds a very sporty vibe to the watch.
Great video of an honest opinion Ash. Personally I agree with you and like the watch and may well consider it in the future. There are of course others who don’t share our opinion. The Black Bay Pro is another superb watch to take a look at.
Lots of negative comments about this piece and I had same reservations, but tried it on and it suited me vs the BB 36 or 41. So am enjoying it. I'm not perfect so it's the perfect watch for me.
Hi Ash, as a follow up question (maybe for a future video? Not sure it warrants one or not) but how do you feel about traveling with a Rolex on your wrist in todays day and age? Lots of crime centered around Rolex right now, especially here in America. I know you talked about this when discussing your recent trip to London, but should we even bother to bring our GMTs or Submariners on trips across Europe at the moment?
A good question - the UK is one of the safest countries in the world, we had 594 homicides in 2021 (a 12% decrease on 2020) a marked comparison to the USA, which suffered 24,500 homicides (19,300 by firearms alone). So in many terms it is largely safe to wear your luxury watch in most daily life situations, I most certainly wear all my pieces as I would normally wear any watch and I have never experienced any issues at all. Of course, the caveat is that you have to be situationally aware of your surroundings. When visiting central London, I do not wear a large flashy GMT or Sub, as these are highly recognisable and sought after by criminals who target tourists and the vulnerable (drunk, etc.) Physical crime is very much on the decline in the UK and crime trends are showing crime moving towards virtual routes (42% of all crime in the UK is classified as fraud). Sadly I see the odd and frankly misinformed RUclipsr, who suggests the UK is rife with 'Rolex Robbers' and sensationalise the rare instances where such crimes take place. From my point of view - as someone who actually works in professional law enforcement - I think 'Rolex' crime is surprisingly low considering the UK is the world's 5th largest market for luxury watches (with a modest population size). In short, you can wear your Rolex in the UK with relative safety, but don't flash it about in major cities or when out drinking in nightclubs or you may attract attention that you don't want.
Tudor wisely got rid of the tapered point on the clasp that scrapes a groove in the last link of watches like the BB36/41. I agree with the red on the second hand. Nice contrast. I would prefer applied numbers and indices but I could get over it.
Within the context of walking, eating or perhaps scratching one’s ear in a city such as London, what does it mean for the Tudor to be almost as capable?
Interesting watch, 39 mm black dial by Tudor... does this open the way for a 2023 white dial 36 mm Rolex Explorer to commemorate "70 years Mt Everest - Chomolungma" ascent by the ninth British Himalayan expedition on May 29, 1953 !? 🤔
As others have noted, the numbers on the Tudor are bland compared to the Explorer, but that black strap, with the white laces compensates by adding a bit of pizzazz.
Another great Video! I have one observation after looking at this watch. Why is this clasp not already on my BlackBay GMT? Because I think it should have been. Can you give me your thoughts on this? I ask because you Have the GMT Pepsi like I have and I think Tudor should have had this on the GMT'S . Thanks Again for the reviews! Keep them coming you are doing a great job... All the best
I dearly wish that clasp was on the GMT. I suspect it will filter down to all Tudor new models as their catalogue refreshes over the years. My biggest dislike of the GMT is the damn clasp and lack of adjustment. Although, to be fair, even Rolex only offers their glidelock clasp on a very few models. They should be standard on every model!!
Good morning Ash, nice video and reasoning. You're heading to Greece... Athens is two hours ahead of BST (UTC+3), so wouldn't a GMT complication be more appropriate? While I like the new Ranger, I can't help but think that a Black Bay Pro or Longines Zulu Time GMT would better serve your needs. The Seiko Presage Sharp Edge GMT won't meet your standards, but Grand Seiko products would... The MT5652 and MT5402 have both been in production for some time now, so reliability shouldn't be a problem. Personally I would avoid the Longines for a couple of years to sidestep any possible early production glitches. Whatever you decide to take with you I hope you have a great time. 👍
I'm the same when I plan a trip to the chippy I think what watch shall I put on to look the part Timex Oris pulsar please could you help me out with this 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣👍
Walking around in London : Casio Swimming in the sea : Casio I don’t get the “I’m going to be in the pool/in the sea, I’ll wear my £12k Submariner” When it comes to tool or utility watches on holiday, “utility” for me is “I don’t have to give a second thought about my watch” I can’t really see myself doing that with something I actually care about (regardless of it’s cost/value)
Have nothing against Tudor. Love the look of the BB58. However, this looks more like a field watch. If that's what you're after then a Hamilton Khaki has similar specs for less than half the price. Meaning you have some to put towards a grail watch.
@@barryhughes1612 Will be interesting to hear how you get on with it and how much wrist time both get after the initial honeymoon period. Do you think you will keep both? ie was this bought as an upgrade?
i think the cases make them very different, among other things like the box crystal on the ranger. i love the ranger and i guess i get why it's always compared to the explorer. most guys really want rolex. been there done that (may times). love the new ranger
The best constructive criticism of the new Ranger on RUclips so far has been provided by IDGuy. You might want to check out his recent video on the Ranger. I like the new Ranger, but imo there are tiny mistakes piling up left and right, that could easily be fixed by Tudor in a future update.
If it wasn't for Tudors Rolex connection then nobody would be talking about this watch. The bezel should be polished and the letters/numbers should be in white. If you like vintage inspired Rolex homage watches then this is for you.
Great video Ash as always! A good looking watch and extremely versatile 👌 why not sell the explorer and replace it with a different rolex and buy the ranger too.
Hi Ash, I had a chance to see and try this model at my AD today… and after seeing it in person, I have to say it’s not for me. In person the dial is very dull, the colors a little strange, and there’s the same “dead space” issue I feel w the 39mm explorer. Additionally, something which my AD brought up to me and took me off guard, the lume didn’t seem to be up to par even when compared to other Tudor products. It’s a respectable piece but doesn’t have the elegance or “it factor” I get from the explorer 1, or many other models. Cheers!
@@barryhughes1612 I can appreciate that when it comes to things like materials or finishing, but I don’t think the issues are price related, they’re design related. The regular BB58 seems much more put together when viewed side by side. The new longines spirit 37 as well.
This Tudor puts the nail in their coffin imho. This doesn't have anything but ab/used features and story telling. It's all over the place. Thanks for your Video!
I went to collect a Tudor Ranger last week and on inspection I could see dust scratches and rough edges on the handset with the naked eye. It’s a nice watch but Tudor are definitely going full on budget retro homage Rolex now and it’s certainly putting me off the brand. I’ve had a few Tudor’s and I don’t think I will be buying anymore.
With your sartorial elegance, I would have thought that PP or VC would be more appropriate for you. BTW, Rolex watches are ubiquitous in London, so I wouldn't worry too much about trying to stay under the radar (no- one else does) with an Explorer! In a similar vein, there is probably as much of a risk getting your watch stolen in Greece- and that's absolutely no disrespect to the Greeks, as Rolex watches are a potential target anywhere in the world- as there is in London!
London…low crime???? I think not. Violent muggings for good wrist watches are through the roof. I can wear my Reverso in Hampstead at my friends place or Highgate, but not in Brixton when I’m doing the Academy……in Brixton it’s my discreet CWC 72 Mellor….much safer.
As an ex-detective Ash should know. Maybe he means it is low crime as long as you don't wear a conspicuous Rolex. Or relatively low crime compared to New York where you would be at greater risk.
@@kevinlevin3479 ?? I live just outside London; of course it’s dangerous. Violent theft of everything, not only watches, is appalling and on the increase. No one has confidence anyway in the the police….too many Wayne Couzens types for that.
Nice alternative. Thank you for the video. In the US, people with Rolex watches are attacked and robbed of their watches. The ultra liberal policies especially in California and New York has allowed many crimes to go unpunished.
Stupid choice, how could the Tudor Ranger "The Perfect Travel Watch" without a date and gmt? Date on a watch is essential for everyday life especially when travelling. You don't know what you're talking mate.
Pretty ugly. Everything on the dial is out of proportion. The LUME sucks, not to mention it’s 2 different colors! 😅 I don’t know what they were thinking.
Trust me, the watch spotter gangs in London will notice an explorer a mile away For me, a perfect travel watch has to be a GMT, my current favourite is Zulu time, and a great saving on the Tudor GMT offering

It’s just those that shill for Rolex who don’t like it! Just a pyramid of snobbery!
Has nothing to do with not being able to afford an Explorer, I don't wear Rolex I wear Tudor or Omega because they appeal to me much more.
Me too!! 👍👍👍

Just bgt one a few days ago, loving it!
I’m with you Ash - if I hadn’t bought a 124273 Explorer this year, I’d be pining for the new Ranger. Nice to see you again, great work!
The used pricing on these is superb value.
Traska Summiteer - 39mm time only watch. 100m WR, 3 6 9 dial. Hardening treatment applied to the steel to prevent scratches & scuffs
I’m just coming to appreciate the Longines range. I think it’s very underrated
Love a crisp Tudor!
Another informative, enjoyable and interesting video; thank you, Ash 👍
Nice watch!
Brilliant! I'm sold. 👍
I do like this offering a field watch offering and enjoy the tool watch vibe, just worried that the dial is only printed
I thought the very same until I handled one, and I bought it and very glad I did because they will become rare.
New to your channel, good review I was very fortunate in obtaining a stainless steel strap Ranger from the Tudor Boutique in Bristol on Sunday, I am wearing it as I write this.
I tried one on at the same location last Wednesday and was very impressed with the piece - congratulations on an excellent choice sir.
You can't unsee the hour hand looks like a todger
The perfect travel watch is a Timex Weekender.
Would like to hear your review on casio f91w
I bought it for a daily and so far I love it. It’s 20mm lug width, so it fits all the rubber, leather and NATO straps I already own. I’ll probably get a BlackBay Pro next for the perfect travel watch alongside my daily Ranger.
Good choices.
Nice review cheers mate you've given all the knowledge I needed to know on the ranger and earned a subscriber! ;)
Would you be kind enough to review the black bay 36mm?!!
At the Rundle Cup recently in Tidworth I noticed a lot of CWC 72 G1098 watches from Silvermans being used……NATO straps in regimental colours to the fore……the correct watch for polo.
love your channel
Ash, your jacket is fantastic, please tell us something about it.
Simple cotton summer jacket. Nothing fancy at all.
I only wish that little red line was yellow...
Oh, and that it was 43mm as well.
That said, well discussed topic.
Great video Ash I agree it looks great watch
Just recently passed 1000 subs myself lol bit behind you great to see your channel doing well
I am a subscriber and fan of your channel Tony and love the direction you are taking it.
@@TheChapsGuide thanks Ash 😊 appreciate your kind words
Great video. Great watch.
Great video. As always, very informative. This watch is growing on me. I prefer the white numerals, but then it would just be an Explorer. For the price, a very good option for an everyday tool watch.
Great video, subbed.
Nice video mate! Cheers
Thanks!
When visiting central London, I do not wear a large flashy GMT or Sub, as these are highly recognisable and sought after by criminals who target tourists and the vulnerable (drunk, etc.)
Physical crime is very much on the decline in the UK and crime trends are showing crime moving towards virtual routes (42% of all crime in the UK is classified as fraud).
Not forgetting that in Live and Let Die, James Bond's watch also had a magnet in it as well. 😆
Lovely looking watch.....
Ash, that is a cracking tan indeed 👌
Now that would be a nice surprise!
Appears someone's family was in London, playing by the 'Rules' as it were ;)
Really like the watch, but would like it even more if it had the date complication
Is it a screwdown crown ?
Yes
This is a watch for people like me that have been on the wait list for an Explorer for 3 years and need to scratch that itch.....
The watch I use for most occasions is the Grand Seiko spring drive SBGA375. The Rolex is unfortunately out of my price range.
I think i'd still try and stretch to an Aquaterra for a do-it-all watch but interesting release from tudor nonetheless.
I was here only to know about it. But I was planing to get it, to flipped it. I hope it be worth it.
I'm the same when I plan a trip to the chippy I think what watch shall I put on to look the part Timex Oris pulsar please could you help me out with this 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣👍
Just checked one out at my AD the printed dial just ruins it for me, a big shame.
Walking around in London : Casio
Swimming in the sea : Casio
I don’t get the “I’m going to be in the pool/in the sea, I’ll wear my £12k Submariner”
When it comes to tool or utility watches on holiday, “utility” for me is “I don’t have to give a second thought about my watch”
I can’t really see myself doing that with something I actually care about (regardless of it’s cost/value)
I think now that the Explorer has gone back it’s original 36mm case size, the Ranger is the only option for me personally, between the two.
Have nothing against Tudor. Love the look of the BB58. However, this looks more like a field watch. If that's what you're after then a Hamilton Khaki has similar specs for less than half the price. Meaning you have some to put towards a grail watch.
I have both, the Hamilton is not quite the same as a Ranger..............
@@barryhughes1612 Will be interesting to hear how you get on with it and how much wrist time both get after the initial honeymoon period.
Do you think you will keep both? ie was this bought as an upgrade?
@@barryhughes1612 agreed , I got this watch sep 2022 this Ranger is a future classic for sure.
Looks like s good every day watch...if I didnt have the exp 1 I would consider it...the watches are similar to extent I wouldnt want both
i think the cases make them very different, among other things like the box crystal on the ranger. i love the ranger and i guess i get why it's always compared to the explorer. most guys really want rolex. been there done that (may times). love the new ranger
A good looking watch and extremely versatile 👌
why not sell the explorer and replace it with a different rolex and buy the ranger too.
Don’t tempt me. To be honest, I love the 36mm of the Explorer and I know from experience that a 39mm watch without a bezel is not to my taste.
Beautiful looking family.
Cheers!
The Explorer 1 is almost three times the price, its relative.
@@barryhughes1612 I can appreciate that when it comes to things like materials or finishing, but I don’t think the issues are price related, they’re design related. The regular BB58 seems much more put together when viewed side by side. The new longines spirit 37 as well.
Think it can be one watch collection watch. 🤔
This Tudor puts the nail in their coffin imho. This doesn't have anything but ab/used features and story telling. It's all over the place. Thanks for your Video!
The red on second hand means I can't see it with my old eyes....why do theu do this red on black is not good
I went to collect a Tudor Ranger last week and on inspection I could see dust scratches and rough edges on the handset with the naked eye. It’s a nice watch but Tudor are definitely going full on budget retro homage Rolex now and it’s certainly putting me off the brand. I’ve had a few Tudor’s and I don’t think I will be buying anymore.
I've seen the same problems with Rolex- seemingly moreso over the last three years...I think they manufacture too many pieces per year as of late.
I have the 41 and 39mm, the only thing I miss is drilled lugs on the 41mm. 39mm wears well and is simple easy read dial.
The Black Bay Pro is a stunning watch in my opinion. Please review it Ash.
Too much of yellow index
Prefer white index color
I also thought so but then when I saw the version from ID guy I changed my mind
I got a kick out of him saying that he doesn't know what the date is today. This is why I prefer a sub date.
cell phone? lmao
Travel watch???
@Silver Fox correct. All normal people are surrounded by hatred and envy these days….
Unfortunately they made it way too big !😩☹️
“Way too big” 😂😂😂
Nice watch indeed. But travel watch? I would spend my time in fear for it to be stolen. I would go for a cheaper watch while traveling.
Travel watch has to be GMT imo
London, low crime 😳 are you serious ?
Nice alternative. Thank you for the video. In the US, people with Rolex watches are attacked and robbed of their watches. The ultra liberal policies especially in California and New York has allowed many crimes to go unpunished.
This is no Explorer. Flat, dull dial and derivative design.
I feel like the Longines Spirit 40mm is a better watch when it comes to this style.
