Thanks, Mike, for the plethora of Judge Vann clips. Absolutely love that guy. He's confident and not afraid to bring the hammer down. Yet, he's funny, so it's a nice balance to watch.
I could watch Judge Van and his Deputy all day. I laugh every single time the Judge makes a silly Comment and his Deputy pipes up "I can't stand you." 😂 😂 THEY ARE PHENOMENAL together.
Yeah, same here - I've also seen how the also keep the flow of people fairly smooth in the process, too. In a way their chatting helps to calm things down. But they're so fun to watch.
It's nice to see a Judge actually stand up to some of the disrespectful people. I think these "Covid" online disrespectful people are really out of hand.
You know that prosecutor is going to check Coleman's socials on his birthday and if he's posting stuff from out of town (and you know Coleman is stupid enough to do so), is going to seek a bond violation.
Ever notice that the people who run their mouths in court overwhelmingly tend to be the same people who don't see why they should dress appropriately for court? I think there's a connection here: If you dress for court as you would dress for another special formal occasion -- church, wedding, funeral, graduation -- you'll feel more of an inhibition on your mouth. And when you're in front of a judge, your own mouth is your most fearsome enemy. Whatever helps you STFU and let your attorney do the talking is a Good And Happy Thing.
That's kinda like saying people who don't bother to bathe or shower also tend not to bother washing themselves, it really goes hand in hand as etiquette
After that one guy admitted to the felony I love the public defenders response at the very end you can't fix certain things because you know he wanted to say you can't fix stupid.
Yeah he meant that but, I gotta give it to the defendat for admitting what they did and taking responsibility like that instead of playing games.. that said, it was a wrong place for that so I hope she does the same in the actual court when the time comes 😂
@@elitereptilian200 right!? It's weird to hear everyone - even attorneys and the actual judge - laughing about how "dumb" he is for admitting what he did, when that is exactly what is a perfect scenario in court. "Tell the whole truth and nothing but the truth, etc."

And how Mr. Coleman is looking around like HIS court date is an inconvenience is so aggravating. No manners or class. He doesn't get he is not on the same level as the judge, this isn't a social meeting, this is a court proceeding. What a jerk.

7:48 he's in for a shock when he realizes when he disrupts the court live, the judge will find him in contempt and have him arrested and put in jail.....
Oh my God. I rewatched the part where judge van kept letting the inmate explain his past charges lmfao he was pretending to care but couldn't stop laughing. Ugh I couldn't stop laughing either. 😆
Really appreciate this judge. He’s cool, interesting, and we need to see more of his cases. 🙏🏻 if all judges looked this cool, it wouldn’t be hard to go to court. 😂
You need to start a go fund me to have a statue built of yourself and have it put next to the fountain. 😂. Also Public Defenders should be allowed to have a mute button to protect their clients from incriminating themselves.
Mr Colman doesn't realize he is getting arrested on the 6th of February. And we all know the flannel should go with an axe, high heels, suspenders and a bra.
Judge Van has the greatest sense of humor. I would love to sit down with him and have a cocktail, just to let you know, I haven’t had a drink in 21 years.
Every time the Deputy calls in the next defendant and says "red X" it makes me think of that Rick and Morty episode when the Ricks from citadel mark themselves with a red x on their forehead 😂
They have the right to be silent, they just can't shut up. Lol He admits to every charge the judge reads out, then argues. Lol. Holy crap, it's a revolving door of repeat offenders.

Aside from throwing away his rights, the guy admitting to loitering and prowling was kind of charming. “I did something bad and I’m going to take responsibility for it” is not a mindset I hate to see.
*Fully* agreed. But there's still a process that lets you stand and take responsibility without eating your own foot. Love the Judge Garrett clip. Mr. Coleman was a little too talkative for his own good. Had his attorney been granted that breakout room with him she requested, I'd have loved to be a fly on the wall for that lecture. 😂

Excellent work.
I thoroughly enjoy The Judge Van and Deputy Show. Hope they get renewed for another season. 😁👍
Can we all agree on one thing? Never piss off the judge.
True, but the judge still has to order according to the law. Too many judges get in their feels and they overuse their authority.

Similar to getting a child to be quiet when you are on the phone.
The slow line of inmates brings back vivid memories of cattle going thru the sale barn. 😂
Same. It's depressing.
If/when you make a Judge Van playlist, you have to make it a "Judge Van and his occupational spouse" playlist! His deputy is the best!
