I hope you guys keep the channel going after you finish the house. I would love to see you guys garden and do other projects on your property. Maybe an epic playhouse for the kids, a new dock or a bridge over the stream. The possibilities really are endless.

The skirting looks like a million bucks and gives your house a more finished look. Painting the concrete piers was another nice detail for a finished look. The look on Spencer's face when you said, "A family of five" was precious.

Yeah Spencer is incredible. That’s one hell of an aptitude for building. He picks up on everything so fast. Just think where they’d be if he had been working in construction since he was 18.
That skirting looks so wonderful, just a slight change makes it look a “million” times better! It definitely makes it more finished, and a design created by one who cares!

Beau and Cam look like twins, they are so adorable! That skirting truly sets your house apart, the design is reminiscent of modern Aussie houses. Hopefully there will be many more projects you two will be willing to share with your fans. Onward!
The skirting looks amazing and painting the pillars black just really sets everything off . It looks like that everything has got to the point, that it has all come together. Over the years after working on and remodeling the different houses and buildings that I have worked on . I would never build something for myself and I try to get other people to build at least 42" to 48" inches or more high off of the ground, it just makes everything so much better getting underneath and working on plumbing, drain pipes and water lines, electrical conduit and wires and heating and air conditioning duct work, just everything installing it and then if you have to come back years later to repair or replace stuff . And then things last longer higher up off of the ground and there is more air flow underneath. And then I think that it looks better higher up off the ground from a distance, everything's more in preportion in size to the total height .

Over the years I have done about everything work wise in construction work, and then I grew up on a farm also and then I run heavy equipment also . I am mainly an electrician ( that I went to school for when I was young ) and then later on I also I had an appliance repair business for years . And then I had taken carpentry classes and then I also took welding classes when I was young and then learned how to do lots of other things as time went on from other people . I always tried to always be learning how to do more different things and I always credit that to growing up on a farm, cause a farmer is like a jack of all trades .
You all have come a long way in the building of this new home and I commend you for that .

@@fishernate I believe they both do their share. Until the babies came she was deep into it including doing as much as she could while working around a growing belly. I think they compliment each other very well. 88Keys acts like she just takes care of the kids which is a job in itself. Probably doesn’t have kids or isn’t involved if he does which is sad.

Well, Spencer, I have to agree with your wife, I would never have thought the skirting would have changed the look of your house so much but the design you came up with did make your already lovely home look “a million times better”’!!!! I so love Beau’s sweet little voice when she says things like “Hi” or “are you okay”. And those adorable curls surrounding her precious face, oh my goodness. What a gift your babies are to you you both!

Spencer, the skirting looks awesome and it really makes the house stand out and is there nothing you can't do? Electrician, plumber, carpenter, welder, painter, sheet rock hanger, tile layer, etc., you have done all of that and more, you are very talented and resourceful.

Oh my GOODNESS YOU GUYS that took me back to Guy Fawkes Night 65 yrs ago on our farm in the Catlins in New Zealand. Your fireworks were superb and wag more elaborate than ours ever were but it's the fact it was home made. It was Daddy setting them up and letting them rip, and giving us little ones wee red bangers that were safe for kids. You brought tears to my eyes as I saw you giving your kiddies those same sort if precious memories. Not only a beautiful home but beautiful hearts too Daddy & Mummy 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 I'm not even American but I enjoyed celebrating your 4th July with you as it lead right into my daughters 43rd Bday on 5thJuly 👏👏🇦🇺✌️😃👍🙏💞🤗👏👏🇺🇲

I, like so many who have already commented, have loved watching your channel as you build your home. The determination to make your dream come true has been encouraging. Never in my life did I imagine being addicted to a “home building, construction” type of show. It’s because of the beautiful chemistry that you two have! Your ability to laugh, love and support each other is truly amazing and encouraging in a time when so many people have lost the ability to be kind to each other. Thank you for your willingness to let us see these crazy, challenging times, yet so rewarding too. And your children… Beau is absolutely adorable! Love how she follows her daddy around “working” with him. Laughed out loud when I saw her reaching into his rear bag pocket without him knowing while he was working! She’s a busy little lady! Cam will have a great sister showing him the ropes! I can still here Beau say,”hi! and then immediately start into a million questions.” Patience mom showed was amazing! Again, thank you so much for providing me with something I have repeatedly turned to during times of loneliness and sadness to have my heart uplifted.

Will Gray, to me, it feels that this "uplifting" effect that this show has is due to the fact that they epitomize health, happiness, love, respect, creativity, perseverance, ingenuity, kindness, gentleness, fearlessness. Basically they are master manifestors making their dreams come into reality. And we get to watch it - minimal dysfunction, complaining, doubting, blaming with maximum beauty, caring, trusting and laughter. It's America at its best. For this reason, it gives us relief from the constant barrage of negative messaging that we get from all directions.

I miss having toddlers to experience the 4th with. When my 3 teens were wee, I stuck the sparklers in the bottom of a red solo cup so they would hold the sparklers, and I wouldn't be so worried about little burns. So beautiful to see the awe.
It has truly been a pleasure being with you throughout this journey. I missed the children being born because I had to stop everything and take care of some serious health issues. But I have loved the love shared between you two, and details of your ups and downs throughout the process you have given me the courage to do mine. Thanks guys.

I actually have a very vivid memory of a pouring rain in California and w are at my Dads Hotel and there was o long glass hall on both sides and I remember standing in it alone with pouring rain on both sides lol . Beautiful fireworks, my heart skipped a beat when the one went under the solar panels.
Nice job on the skirting. Like the fireworks. Another way to keep critters out of underneath your house or even your main part of your yard is get a electric fence that the farmer's, rancher's use to keep cattle in their pastures. It's what they call a trickl charge and it just pulsates.

Yeah the boar and snakes make me nervous for the kiddos. I know they don't want to hurt any animals but they really should be shooting the boar when they come around

@@DianaCarolinaGirl22 if you educate kids about snakes it will lower the probability. I grew up on a farm and we had a lot of snakes. We didn’t mess with the ones that we knew were bad. It’s just a part of living in the country.

I think you should make accouple of car garages and a tornado shelter/storage underneath them. put solar panels on top to charge your car and tractor and atv. There is alot of potential projects still here.
