I just discovered your channel. I love the way you present things. I like seeing your consistency and the way you target your form issues to be able to get better
Great review. Love for Calimove program is so well deserved, which I also signed up to recently - I was guided by their free videos for years and it’s so nice to be able to support them. Great to see this review of the mobility program, I just signed up :)
@@topanteon Congratulations and I climbed silence last week - now onto things we actually have proof of, maybe it doesn't help on short burly pure power based routes but anything with technique, bridging, drop knees, flagging, presses, knee bars, dynos or many other moves are all massively helped by mobility
Good for you! Just so you know, the planche is extremely difficult in general and quite awful for the wrists and elbows, so if you choose to train for it, get ready to wait patiently for minimal results and be really careful with overuse injuries. Also, be careful with back levers, I've seen too many people really mess up their shoulders doing it.
Brilliant video. Its great to see that it is possible to improve mobility to such an extent that you can do a bridge with bent arms to an excellent bridge - one of my goals. Well done!
Love your vids. You just are so genuine and forward minded. Not able to do something, you just start doing something for it. Sometimes it is just that simple :)
They are the best! I have their 1-3 (at level 2 right now) calisthenics levels and mobility training, Im loving it!! I can see big changes in my body like posture and less pain
@@marccorreiaa I train both in one day generally. Cali first them mobility in one go or cali in the morning and mobility in the evening. I am following the cali routine as they tell me what and when to do. Right now I finish the mobility program ( 6 mounths? ) and they give you a program that you can do for the rest of your life to stay or get even better in mobility (can do every single day or twice a day if you can feel confortable). Then if you want to unlock splits, v sit or pike press you have exercices that u can do when you want. If u want u can add more exercises in this routine its up to you
This is phenomenal progress. That really gives me and my tight body (and I don't mean the good kind of 'tight') hope for redemption. I think my lack of mobility is a lot of my climbing injuries, so I got the program you used (using your affiliated link) and I'm really excited to see how it helps me!
CaliMovement is truly one of the greatest fitness RUclips channels ever. Not dogmatic, open to alternatives to any level. I fell in love with their channel more the moment I purchased one of their programs, I lost weight from obese to normal now.
Haha i love how you mention how the distillited information of his program is much better and more worth it than to google it all yourself, most people wouldnt even mention most of that whole section i think. I am very inspired to become much more mobile amd flexible as you are since i only got much better at touching my toes (from elephant walks) and a tad better at the sit foot raise and back bend ones since I've started weight training last year. Idk how long it will take but it will be 120% worth it to have less pain and tightness and cramps, with more cool body moves, better and fun recovery, and flex by just friggen bending a lot. Fantastic video!! Make sure to keep your electrolytes balanced, and Stay Hydrated. Peace and Love
That’s awesome and congrats. 🤩 Power can definitely be drained without functional full range and have always believed in the calisthenics approach, even when I did powerlifting/bodybuilding. MAT (muscle activation technique) is another perspective of this concept to optimize the body’s efficiency of full range of movement with avoidance of muscle atrophy. Always good to know what’s out there and fit the tools to your capacities today with intent to improve.
I like the fact that mobility gives you better goals then strength training. I personally don’t care if I can bench 225 vs 300 but being able to touch my hand behind my back sounds awesome af.
I wasn’t expecting that material. And I thought you have greater mobility :> So thanks a lot for this video! Now it’s time for me to perform these test exercises… 😎
I am on day 120 of this mobility program. While I definitely feel more agile and flexible, I still have a long way to go. I still have limited ankle movement. Some moves I still struggle with. Thanks for the share. I wonder where you are now in your mobility journey.
Mobility exercise on rest days improved recovery. It was casually said but speaks volumes to me. I discovered this after doing an intense upper body workout. I tried resting, drinking lots of water, and ibuprofen which all provided no relief. The I did a little bit of mobility exercise on my Total Gym and I instantly felts 80% better.
Thanks for sharing this vid! It's really awesome to see your progress. I'm not sure if gyms are open for you at the moment, but I would be really curious to know how some of this may translate to your climbing. Not just for the mobility, but it sounds like a lot of stabilizing muscles are getting a good work out as well. I have been thinking about working on my mobility as well, and your vid definitely gets me pysched to give it a go and keep at it! Thanks as always for sharing your progress! Cheers.
I love calisthenicmovement and i follow their updates and I follow your funny videos. I publicized their videos a lot around my friends and family. I didn’t subscribe to their courses because I am afraid I won’t make any progress in the limited time. Keep up the good work.

Thx for the vid I've been trying to improve my mobility lately cause it's really affecting my climbing
I can't wait to get back on the climbing wall after my finger recovered to see if improved mobility actually helps my climbing.
I don't really think mobility helps with climbing that much, to be honest.
