- Return to the action-packed world of prehistoric dinosaurs in Jurassic Park III where man is up against dangerous predators in the ultimate battle for survival. Macy and Téa Leoni) on an aerial tour of Isla Sorna, InGen’s former breeding ground for prehistoric creatures. After they are terrifyingly stranded, Dr. Grant soon discovers that his hosts are not what they seem and the island’s native inhabitants are smarter, faster, fiercer and more brutal than he ever imagined. JP3 has the best dino designs in both franchises, they weren't afraid to use colors, change my mind.
True
True my favorite where the male and female raptors of this movie
@@johncarlodimaano7235 those were truly the best!
The thing was they often had vibrant colors, especially the raptors in the first film were vivid yellow base with blue spots like a leopard but unfortunately due to the way that they were lit, all that color got washed away.

In terms of visual effects, Jurassic park 3 is my favorite of all the movies, the relationship between CGI and animatronics was amazing, which made the Dinosaur’s look real
JP3 had some of the best dinosaur designs, especially at the time.
Hopefully Horner has updated his ideas on Spinosaurus and T-Rex because he was wrong on both back then. Spino was a specialised fish eater and it's now pretty much agreed that T-Rex was primarily a hunter rather than just a scavenger.
He wasn't wrong back then, just outdated.
Back in 2001 the Spinosaurus was thought to be the new Apex.
I think there's a video where he explains all that info was only for the movie so spino would be a terrifying villain. He acknowledges that real life spino was vastly different and could not win. You should look for that video
Whether you like part 3 or not it has the best designs and atmosphere in the franchise. Really feels like a dinosaur island.
Agreed, Jurassic park 3 is great I liked it a lot
The CGI and practical effects look so much better than the Jurassic World movies
They took much more time, work & money in this movie than in the second trilogy you know, thats the point.
It's funny just how wrong Horner was here. And yeah, we've learned a lot more about Spinosaurus (and to a lesser extent T-Rex) in the past 20 years, but even back then it should have been clear that the "real" spinosaurus with its incredibly narrow snout was not a T-Rex-killer
stan Winston school of character arts calls it a trex killer twice and nothing changed since then
yeah real life it is obvious but in Jurassic Park, the Spinosaurus is a Trex killer as it stated to hunt them, and Winston School and Dierector still keep this element in later interview/ topic about the spino, even the director in 2022 interviews consider the spino the strongest as the story tells us it the trex killer, while the giga is trex rival
we just have to accept Jurassic Park is fictional and different from our real world, like Dominion is the biggest proof of how different JP is with biosyn dino stated 100% pure and opening Giga meeting a trex in the past, something impossible in real life
Jurassic Park 3 is actually good and a lot better than Fallen Kingdom. But I have to admit, the dinosaurs designed are awesome
0:23 I LOVE how the animated logo does that it’s literally so cool
Jp3 has the best design ever
These actors were AMAZING 👍 when they survived in Jurassic Park 3 and the makers did AWESOME work when they made dinosaurs 🦖 hunt and fight, other dinosaurs 🦕 peace and calm
The amount of HATE and DISCRIMINATION they show the tyrannosaurus is mind boggling. It shows how much universal hates the mascot that made them who they are.
The hate is mostly from Jack Horner though, unsurprisingly
Universal had nothing to do with the franchise's mascot, it was Jack Horner who wanted T-Rex to be replaced in this movie.
@@hiattgrey9161 Spielberg agreed to it as well.
Little did they know 22 years later that they were completely wrong about tyrannosaurus and spino
@@Black_Wolf1357Spielberg agreeing with voices they trusted as their dinosaur "experts" is not Spielberg hating on the Rex. Spielberg wanted a story and a creature to challenge and overthrow the king and subvert expectations was what we got in the JP3 Spino, even if it was wildly inaccurate by today's standards.
Jack Horner definitely had an insane bias against the clear cut hierarchy with the T-Rex as an apex predator. But, this JP fanbase is actually so toxic at this point with this BS narrative that somehow everyone with a role in producing this movie had some active vendetta of dino power scaling 🙄
PS: Not sure if you experienced JP3 when it came out but the science and culture around the Spinosaurus' standing orientation and behavior were RADICALLY different by then according to a huge amount of the paleontological community. There's a reason it's notorious for literally changing in its interpretation year-to-year.
I just wished if the 3rd Jurassic Park movie was remade by Steven Spielberg
Suchomimus in Jurassic Park III alongside Spinosaurus would be cool
Hold my beer, Giga is the biggest carnovor!
In terms of mass, rex is largest. (Carnivore)
In terms of length, spino is the longest. (Carnivore)
In terms of height, giga is the tallest.
Jurassic Park 3 dinosaurs were so fit to be in Isla Sorna.
Jack Horner: says t.rex was s scavenger
Me and the rest of the paleo community:
NOOOOOOO!!! GOD PLEASE NOOOOOO!!! NOOOOOOOOOOO
My exact thought, as soon as he brought that up i was like noooooo, not againnnnm
@@wesleyvantilborg Not again? This is from 2001, so it's just ripped from the DVD's special features. Of course what he said aged like milk.
Awesome Video Can't Wait Until Universal Pictures Uploads the Bonus Features of The Lost World Jurassic Park!! :)
Awesome
Jack Horner: Spinosaurus definition more ferocious than T-rex
Me: Uhhhh….That’s not true. The scene where the Bull T-rex bite onto the Spino neck, that alone would already severely break the Spino neck
"Alan!"
👍👍👍😎😎🤯
Wow
I love Jurassic park 3. It was truly atmospheric and immersive. It really felt like these guys were actually lost in a deep dense forest with hungry beasts and little means of escape.
In fact, for me, Park 3 is much much much better than any of the later movies. Those new World movies are God awful. Totally lacking any immersion and movie magic factor
I can see where you were coming from, but the newer creatures such as the indominus Rex is on an entire different level compared to dinosaurs like the spinosaurus, for example, in camp cretaceous season five, it showed these two guys with no weapons at all, able to chip the spinosaurus (minde control) with little to no effort, showing how weak the Spinosaurus is, not even able to kill two guys WITHOUT ANY WEAPONS, wile the Indominus rex was able to kill an entire army of people with all sorts of weapons: guns, tasers, nets, machetes, and more. ALL AS A JUVENILE, not even fully grown. Plus, pierce the Kendrasarus smacked the spinosaurus with its tail, and knocked it out, while the indominus Rex got hit in the face by an ankylosaurus, and did not react to it at all !!! With no damage! So JP3 the movie could be better, but the villain does not compare to the indominus Rex
@@Nigeta289yet they still kept everything canon from jp3 throughout JW series, spino is still a very powerful dinosaur.
i wanna go back
Me too
What I think is bothersome is the fact that the studio wanted accuracy with the way all the dinosaurs of the Jurassic Park franchise looked. Yes, you need accuracy, but at the same time, what John Hammond had created were hybrids. Technically, all the dinosaurs are hybrids, to one degree or another. The exposition in the original film of the little cartoon explains it very well, and as long as you remember the frog factor is going into the creation of these dinosaurs, anything is possible. That's why the indomnious stands out the most as far as a lab created hybrid, yet the original third film has the one dinosaur that the whole hybrid dinosaur idea stems from the spinosaurus. You can clearly see why, because it looks menacing on it's hind legs, when in all accuracy, it may have had the same length, but it was much closer to a crocodile of a look to it.
I really enjoyed Jurassic Park 3 despite it's flaws
2:05
still better than dominion
Dominion is ok and it definitely could of been better
👍👍👍👍
ah yes jack horner, pushing his weird hypothesis that rex only scavenged despite the contrary fossil evidence even known back then. And the fact that all carnivores scavenge and all scavengers will hunt.
Wouldn't need to be that size if it was solely a scavenger.
he didn't say that they ONLY scavenge. They scavenge MORE than hunting, it doesn't mean that they didn't hunt all together.
@@asquri5959 his paper literally pressed home how he hypothesized them not hunting at all. Which is incorrect by a land slide seeing as all carnivores scavenge and all scavengers hunt.
Any carnivore would be willing for a free meal, even in modern animals. Jack Horner just feels like he's relevant to hate the rex.
@@TyrannoWright jack horner is a contrarian because he made a good number of break throughs back in the eighties and nineties. But he needs to be called out on that BS, especially things like the "toroceratops" hypothesis and the more famous scavenger rex theory.
❤️❤️❤️❤️
"-- cause an extinction on the island." I guess they carried that concept over into "Jurassic World", with the Indominus Rex. (5/23/2023)

Back then we had a horror dino sci-fi. But now with JW all dinosaurs turns to Disney type kind of sci-fi.
If spinosaurus and T.Rex were to fight T.Rex would still win due to it having more on land hunting experience it would also be smart enough not to go in the water we’re the spinosaurus would have the advantage but the spinosaurus would also be smart enough not to stray away from the water so they would just glare at each other
what dino is at 5:21
Lightning McQueen
What about REXY from JW
Wrong film.
T-Rex >>> Spinosaurus
T rex is better btw
Rexy>>>>>Spinosaurus
Wonder how they would've pulled this if had they had a finished script and the chance to film on an island?
👁👁
Vaya inutil pensar q el rex era un carroñero y el spinosaurus un despredador cuando este era poscivoro y el rex cazaba triceratops, sin información haceis esta barbaridad de película q es considerada por muchos la peor de la franquicia.
