What the cops are saying here: "you all blacks look suspicious to us."

The ignorance of these officers is mind boggling! If you think you can grab a man off the street who has committed no crime, beat, choke and kidnap him. And claim to be the victim? This is not Germany but you act like Nazis! Apparently you have been given power you are not mentally equipped to handle and it needs to be taken away

He was NOT mistakenly arrested. He was INTENTIONALLY arrested for being black.

The officer should’ve went to her first to get the description of who they were looking for because of how many black males have beard and weird green shirt then

I watched the video numerous times. Mr Ometu did not kick the officers. His arrest was pure retaliation for not giving up his constitutional rights.

Texas law enforcement and the Texas ID statute are legendary in the annuls of youtube......it's the stuff uploads are made of....The DA saw the potential of what this could turn into, civilly,,,so he thought it prudent to drop the charges...but in the words of an old hymn....."this ain't over"....

My cousin vinny had a better investigation! These police officers only have a high school education! Know understanding of the law! Only thing they know how to do is brutality! Scary!

If the next got it right that would be great! He was not "arrested" but detained as is clear in the video from the start. Get it right drive by media

To snatch a human being from the streets for a description so vague you need to have a better approach. This arrest will cost the tax payers of San Antonio some big change.

It's not their job to violate people's rights. They're no better than criminals if they cannot do their job with the law.

Violating a citizen's rights isn't their job. Cops need to learn how to perform their jobs without violating people's rights.

People bring so much of these problems on themselves. Regardless of if he is required by law to provide his name, he could have avoided all of this if he had just cooperated.

Wrong! No one should give up their rights! If police cannot perform their job without violating a person's rights then they shouldn't be in LAW ENFORCEMENT!
