      @Mercury Hill it will probably make mounds of dirt and still web up on the side of the enclosure...just might not be as intricate. But it depends on the species. Chilobrachys seems to webb up no matter what is in there.

      My fastest is my Birupes, wayyy faster then any freaking pokies lol, you cant even blink and you wont even see where they're at after ( i own 2 pokies and one L violacepeus) and hands down those Birupes beats them by alot

    Agree! One of the more heavy webbers i have had is Chilobrachys fimbriatus. Its enclosure looked like "Santas grotto"

      I think my c.fimbriatus is broken lol. I set it up with enough substrate to burrow, a few plants & pieces of corkbark for anchor points and a long corkbark tube (which is where stays 99% of the time) so maybe that's why it hasn't webbed. It's happy just hiding out in its hole lol.

      My LP is really trying to escape always 🤣🤣 ....My TAN is a runner gave me twice already something for my money 🤣🤣 and my CGK is one of the more defensive slings but I wanted to have something that has more character :) nxt T's GBB,Trinidad Olive,and a heart butt... After that I want to buy sun tiger and something close acting fast aboreal species then into baboons or something I want to have tthese three for sure pterinochilus chordatus , pterinochilus lugardi , pterinochilus vorax

      EpiCAN’T Ok I agree, the caribena versicolor is one of them, believe me, I have one and it is beautiful. Actually every arboreal is extremely fluffy, especially the females

    I use my old enclosure for my GBB as a Halloween decoration for my desk at work. People always ask if I have a T in there and I say "that's all you need to know". Lol

    I am so excited just got a GBB one reason was I LOVE the webs they make. He's only 1/2 inch right now but I put him in a tall enclosure with plenty of anchor points and it's all webbed up! So cool looking!

    Another great video. You literally have me addicted. I cant wait for my shirt and cap to arrive my sister ordered me for my birthday this week.     Awesome!! This is one of my favorite behaviors of tarantulas (all spiders really). Thanks for the vid. My pink toes were always very heavy webber's (I believe it was because of how I kept them...secret for now, will be revealed when I get my channel up).     I only have 2 so far, but one is a Chromatopelma and I really like how she builds her places with webbings all around. For visitors it adds this spider flavor to it xD

      ive had sub-adult Chromatopelma for 10 months now and she only webbed her burrow/nest, the rest of her cube 30x30x30 is not touched :/

    Great video man as always! Just a note, whilst I do like the occasional cut away to another camera shot and it’s certainly interesting and fresh however I think you may overuse it occasionally but that’s just my opinion

    I love your videos! Out of every T you showed today, the Guatemalan Tiger Rump and the Harpactira baviana are my faves! I don't keep tarantulas and I'm actually a little scared of them still (used to have arachnophobia), but seeing them and learning about them helps a lot. Besides all this, I like listening to you talk while I study and write so all wins! Stay safe!

    I recently bought a Mexican Fire Leg T, and I absolutely love it! all though, sense it's a sling, the little guy is taking so damn long to grow. I decided to add 4 more T's to my collection.ink Leg Salmon Bird Eater, Green Bottle Blue, King Baboon, and a Pumpkin Patch Tarantula. So excited to say the least. I know that I should of kept away from the New Wolds, but...…. I couldn't help myself. Especially the King Baboon. I heard they have a nasty attitude and also have medically significant venom. I will just have to be extra careful! I know that this has nothing to do with the video, but I thought I would make mention. Great video!

    I used to think that webbing just got in the way of seeing the spider. Now I'm starting to come around to the other point of view. For balance in the collection, a heavy Webber or two makes sense.

    My H. Pulchripes and C. Hati Hati have both webbed their enclosures to the extreme.

    Love it, does that mean we get an indian violet care and husbandry cu next tuesday edition soon?? :-) Think this is the first T i own that has made one number 1 on your top 10 lists, got it when i aquired a collection from someone getting out of the hobby, and wasnt one i intended to keep but love the tunnels the little guy makes. :-)

    First of all I'd like to thank you for putting out these videos. I am a novice keeper who has now had T's for about six months and this information is absolutely invaluable. I would like to see a video on your picks for intermediate species; what species you believe are good for keepers who have a little experience under their belt and have kept a lot of the beginner level species successfully. A bit more challenging, maybe beginner moisture dependent, a bit faster. Thank you and thank you for all the videos you have done so far :)

    Greetings from Germany. There is a weird translation of the title here, which would literally mean "The top 10 of the heaviest (-in the sense of mass-) belt tarantulas" :D
    I think it looks cool when Ts web all over a skull. And webbing makes an enclosure a unique home designed by its inhabitant in person.

    I have been waiting for this so long now, thanks for introducing the he heaviest web weavers in T world, I personally think that the one that are able to use web are more powerful Ts and spiders, I have kept spiders, while a wolf spider was unable to catch a cockroach thing insect with a rather hard shell, a normal house spider (the ones with that long lends) were able to hunt down them, I think a spider whose weapon is web is more effective in taking down the prey.
