Coming up from jagex: “Due to advanced pvp bots and our inability to do anything about even the most simple AHK, we’ve decided to remove pvp worlds and turn the wilderness into a safe area”
The problem with AHK is that there isn't much difference between a shitty PvPer using AHK and a really good player who isn't cheating. From the server's point of view both accounts are executing a lot of commands really fast and you can't program human intuition into software. It's somewhat obvious when you're fighting a cheater but it's more of a gut feeling based on a comprehensive view of their behavior unless they are extremely brazen with it. The 1t 8 way switch into a spec from a weapon without a spec bar makes it super obvious but a lot of the scripts that only do 3-4 way switches or auto-eat or whatever are a lot more subtle. The "most simple AHK" are the hardest to detect.
@@Joebobinator there are many cases of very obv AHK users who never got banned or got unbanned after appealing. Even people who openly did it on stream/yt vids. If you haven't watched my videos before: botting is a bannable offense and ruins the game for a variety of reasons. Obviously, don't use bots. You'll probably get banned anyway. I like to make videos about busting these bots, and will report on the most interesting things I find, like this bot. I didn't mind going so in-depth about this bot because it clearly has no anti-ban, and Jagex should be able to detect it pretty easily + if someone were to use the bot, they'd have to risk an account with decent PvP stats. There doesn't seem to be a scalable gold farm here. From what I could tell, the creator of the bot created it as a hobby project, is not selling it, and has no plans to distribute it in any way.
Sell the bot to Jagex to create a PVP practice. I think it would be a neat PVP update to let newer players get into PVP. Since you can set the difficulty it would make it beneficial for anyone who wants to learn how to PVP with no risk. You could do LMS but you are against a lot of bots that are much better than you to start with.
I went to college to learn programming, got familiar with python and made image based bots that do variable mouse movements and also account for the periodic changes in the minimap coloration and pixel arrangement. I wanted to automate my farm runs without getting banned, and it worked. But while coding I realized the infinite amount of activity that could be botted. It’s just about how complicated the programmer wants to get. I’m not surprised by these new super bots at all.
I don't see a fix for this with how OSRS currently works. The game is too simple. Wouldn't banning all 3rd party clients and making a really secure official one fix it?
@@Theviewerdude It could make a difference but there would still be the ability to use DLL injection to read the game memory and use that to bot. This bots reminds of back in the time when Wilderness PVP was abolished and revenants first were intruded. Revenants were meant to replace pkers so Wilderness ressources weren't existing without a risk. This bot shows what revenants should of been - maybe not that strong, but strong enough to cause trouble.
@@bilamch Yeah, chaos temple around 40 wildy, a rev knight, orc, wolf, vampyre would have set patrols and use the altar sometimes which was multi. Had a friend called Sparky, and with others we'd spend hours 'rev hunting' (my fondest memories of runescape) :')
Damn that's good I would like to see a tournament of these bots vs our best pkers. Can he join the next deadman mode with a group of 10 of them? I would genuinely like to see Torvesta and Panic go up against these. Also would be cool to see Skillspecs take on the normal one.
Ngl, this could be used for good. Practicing on a bot like that (maybe with a lower difficulty) could get a lot of people into PvP if it was a part of a minigame. It would be also fun to revive spots such as north of Varrock with low level mage accounts that are not eventually used for RWT. Honestly, I wouldn't mind something like themed worlds with wandering revenants that use advanced AIs like that.
@@morpheus2270 Kinda, but they're not a part of the official content, and LMS isn't exactly the same as regular PvP. I could see similarly sophisticated NPCs being implemented as a part of a new minigame or on themed worlds to bridge the gap between PvM and PvP.

@@brandonnazelrodt2819 I do have a life, which is why it's not very hard for me to stop playing right now because of what's going on. I said until, not permanent. Which means wilderness would be dead regardless if it was there or not.
It would be cool to see Jagex give this guy a subtle nod, maybe a clone of his account kills you in a quest like how they did cowkiller from the one quest in the swamps. I do think this has a use though, chuck it in ferox in special instanced portal, and let PKers train on it, free brews, free ammo, whatever stats they want to test - it could be the key to unlocking some crazy builds and new methods
That bot was fucking insane, what programming skills this dude has.... Imagine if jagex hired people like this who actually knew how to code ahking scripts and other unfair advantage bots and put them on the anti cheating team....
@@aaronditchfield781 you're probably right bro in all seriousness. But the guy he was saying made this bot didn't/doesn't sell this script. So he kind of did it as a project which is really funny to me, because everything his bot was doing can really be done by actual players in game, minus a few of the obvious things like 1-2 ticking tb's and the pray/gear 1 ticks. But he made 3 modes, easy/intermediate/extreme and from watching the clips he had on easy/ intermediate those actions and ticks in game were totally possible by ANY player. Extreme would be like a real life Terminator on crank that's played since 2004 and has never quit, hahahah. It was insane watching the bot on extreme, obviously no one could imitate that, no real player at least. But it really makes you wonder, if you practiced on these bots nonstop, what would happen? You would obviously get better, there's a learning curve for literally everything in osrs. So like imagine if Jagex bought this from him and made an addition to lms where you could practice, but like with bots and choose the difficulty level to practice for real lms games. People don't realize man, jagex makes at least 100m+ a year from bonds to rs3's cash grabs and all of their merch. They could easily offer guys that make shit like this a royalty or some shit just to use their script for a beneficial training method for players to get better at pking. Thats 99% of the battle for players, they're afraid and have never pked before and the thought of going up against players who have had 4+ years or more if experience pking, there's no comparison. Now you might be saying to yourself, lms is exactly what you're saying Steve, but no, you're wrong there's existing bots and great lms players who have had major experience and have a huge advantage over players learning lms and pking mechanics. If they made a game mode where new or experienced players could choose a difficulty of 23 other bots and have them fight in a similar mechanic to normal games of lms it would encourage the growth of pking in general. Lms is literally a pking minigame, so if you're good at lms and get a lot of wins, chances are you're a decent pker. And experienced players can get better by just playing these training modes with harder difficulties. But I donno man, sorry to go essay on you with my response but it's a pretty tight topic and I'm stoned af so here we are.
Jagex outta give another try at roaming pking NPCs. Once they have it like the bot presented there are literally so many applications. - A new type of npc with mechanics used presented as an actual challenging boss - Use it in a training arena to practice pking - Can fill minigames that don't have enough people - this in turn allows private games with smaller groups of friends The best thing is, if done like this bot, the difficulty can be totally scalable!
It would be a cool idea for Jagex to buy the code and implement a 'training' arena into the game. Allowing you to talk to an NPC and choose between the different difficulty levels and 1v1 against a bot safely. No items lost.
these bots are exactly why i play lms. very fun practice. decades ago quake players used to play against bots that were extremely brutal to practice. check out rapha, agent, and cooler 1v1ing the bots. these are inspiring matches.
Would be interesting to see a ‘humanised’ version, sure it can kill anyone but it’s obviously a bot, would be an interesting challenge to almost make a PK Turing test
This bot was clicking on the guy at chinchompas without the guy being on the screen. The chin hunter was behind the chat log and the bot was clicking on him still.
I used to be all for new pvp content and pushing pvp updates. But now man, I don’t even wanna enter the wildy anymore. It’s sad what comes down to pvp nowadays. It was the ahkers, and now the bots. Smh 🤦🏻♂️
I would love to see this kind of bot get high in DMM Tournament on normal difficulty, increase the level of difficulty with higher-ranking positions, somehow get to the final, turn on difficulty level TAS, win the whole tournament, and type "Jagex fix your fucking game"
Talking about the inspiration I get the same thing when I watch a TAS of some of the games I play. It's crazy what things are theoretically possible to do in a game.
the bot even gets a red mouse click when it didnt even click on the player, some of the clips it clicks way off in the distance and still tags a player like it clicked on them, iv never seen that by a real person. Boaty is wrong there is no way a person can be able to even come close to what the bots do, they dont have mouse travel time as they instantly click on tiles, items, and players with such accuracy that people cant get on tablets for less travel time of a finger or even on a pc mouse for more precision. They know how to use the tick system perfectly each time with no misclicks.
I knew this day was coming when I got chased by a full black dhide msb ragger during like season 2 DMM. It was south of the agility shortcut/south entrance, my skull wore off and I took the agility shortcut ran along the souther wall as the bot chased side stepping until we reached the opening in the southern entrance and it purposely ran into the safezone trying to kill me and got owned by the guards.
The only thing that can outdps these bots is to use a staff as a melee weapon or wield a crossbow+tome and mage them or 1 ticking them. With the help of AI these things would probably not be possible in the future as the AI would learn the human counter effect more and more.

Actually, that would be insane. This guys bot could literally be a raid boss. lol.
This bot deserve a Netflix mini series
This bots reminds of back in the time when Wilderness PVP was abolished and revenants first were intruded. Revenants were meant to replace pkers so Wilderness ressources weren't existing without a risk. This bot shows what revenants should of been - maybe not that strong, but strong enough to cause trouble.
Good old days of piling on a rev because they'd do so much damage haha
Agreed, imagine if these were npc's coded by jagex with decent drops
As a noob i was genuinely afraid seeing a revenant slowly float in my direction
@@bilamch Yeah, chaos temple around 40 wildy, a rev knight, orc, wolf, vampyre would have set patrols and use the altar sometimes which was multi. Had a friend called Sparky, and with others we'd spend hours 'rev hunting' (my fondest memories of runescape) :')
all the bot has left to learn is smite flicking and then its a total menace
Curious to know if the bots would send it in multi at south revs if a target runs in
4:09 “not showing the bots full potential”
THE BOT TBS A TARGET OFF SCREEN
Idk why it cut off. I said: the bot tbd a target off screen
Damn that's good I would like to see a tournament of these bots vs our best pkers. Can he join the next deadman mode with a group of 10 of them? I would genuinely like to see Torvesta and Panic go up against these. Also would be cool to see Skillspecs take on the normal one.
So you would like CHEATERS to be ruining others times in DMM? Please just stop.
Man at 8:00 is fightin for his life and the random just like "dude fkin talk to me will ya?"
@@morpheus2270 go to lms that's where I learned to pk helps you get pray switches a day gear switches
Until they are advanced enough to kill anybody in the game
Jagex should add a PK boss. An npc that mimics a pker
The bot this guy has developed would be interesting if RuneScape added something like this in a boss form, something that isn’t predictable
I'm sure this won't lead into the real world to create Terminators
The only thing I really play for, besides leagues, is pking. For the first time I'd vote for wilderness removal until they figure out a way to stop all of this including the ahkers.
Dude get a life anyone that plays to pk wouldnt ever remove wilderness..i dont agree with pk scripts but cmon.
@@brandonnazelrodt2819 I do have a life, which is why it's not very hard for me to stop playing right now because of what's going on. I said until, not permanent. If it doesn't stop all of your pk skill is basically going to be a waste and the only way for you to keep up is by having a machine playing for you. Which means wilderness would be dead regardless if it was there or not.
@@brandonnazelrodt2819 Yeah man lets play some call of duty too? Let me fire up my engine owning
I cant be the only one who wanted to see two of these bots fight each other in the duel arena, right?
can we all just take a moment to appreciate how well jagex are dealing with their game, pvp is so much fun im going to go to revs right now!!!!
the "fun" kicks in after max combats and finding a bossing clan
getting ready to come PK you
It would be cool to see Jagex give this guy a subtle nod, maybe a clone of his account kills you in a quest like how they did cowkiller from the one quest in the swamps.
They probably make more money than Jagex staff make just from this bot in a month
@@stevebutabi9084 He just says that to stay out of trouble. I bet this guy selling loads of private scripts
Jagex outta give another try at roaming pking NPCs.
Once they have it like the bot presented there are literally so many applications.
- A new type of npc with mechanics used presented as an actual challenging boss
- Use it in a training arena to practice pking
- Can fill minigames that don't have enough people
- this in turn allows private games with smaller groups of friends
The best thing is, if done like this bot, the difficulty can be totally scalable!
LOVE YOU PUGGERS!! UR A LEGEND
These ahkers and pvp bots r a menace tht need to be stopped
We now have Agents in the OSRS matrix and Pugger is our Morpheous.
damn that bzr guy is a g
"you'd know if you're fighting the terminator"
Thanks bzr for having mercy for the community, a script like this could literally ruin the game lol. Could use it for pvming too
Inb4 open source
AHKers ruined the rev caves
At the very end right before it cuts off, it looks like the guy was like, hell naw I'm outta here XD
It would be a cool idea for Jagex to buy the code and implement a 'training' arena into the game. Allowing you to talk to an NPC and choose between the different difficulty levels and 1v1 against a bot safely. No items lost.
Or make it into PvM where boss monsters work via code that fight you how a PKer could
@@Gladuos1 That's a fantastic idea as well!
I like how the dude is getting quad hit 46s but still has hp left
Please do a part 2.
these bots are exactly why i play lms. very fun practice. decades ago quake players used to play against bots that were extremely brutal to practice. check out rapha, agent, and cooler 1v1ing the bots. these are inspiring matches.
Would be interesting to see a ‘humanised’ version, sure it can kill anyone but it’s obviously a bot, would be an interesting challenge to almost make a PK Turing test
Includes AI that talks shit at edge bank after the fight
@@Theviewerdude Ahh, yes, this godly PKer CAN'T be a bot, he's talking shit at me!
F for that poor farmer with only 12 chins
as a data scientist/software boy, i find it absolutely amazing what these people can do in javascript and runescape lmfao
This mfer calls himself a software boy yet refers to java as javascript
@@Undeadbert LOL
This bot was clicking on the guy at chinchompas without the guy being on the screen. The chin hunter was behind the chat log and the bot was clicking on him still.
I used to be all for new pvp content and pushing pvp updates. But now man, I don’t even wanna enter the wildy anymore. It’s sad what comes down to pvp nowadays. It was the ahkers, and now the bots. Smh 🤦🏻♂️
"I just got here. I have 12 chins" lol said the exact thing. It didn't matter then either
I would love to see this kind of bot get high in DMM Tournament on normal difficulty, increase the level of difficulty with higher-ranking positions, somehow get to the final, turn on difficulty level TAS, win the whole tournament, and type "Jagex fix your fucking game"
Watching it cast Entangles on players that arent even on the screen was mindblowing for me.
Pvp is dead.
Talking about the inspiration I get the same thing when I watch a TAS of some of the games I play. It's crazy what things are theoretically possible to do in a game.
"imagine if human fought like that" big o is at that level
Haven’t played in 2 years. Before that.. was probably last playing in 2005-2007. It is crazy to see how much this game has changed.
the bot even gets a red mouse click when it didnt even click on the player, some of the clips it clicks way off in the distance and still tags a player like it clicked on them, iv never seen that by a real person.
One of these as a future pvm boss would be great content.
He said I have 12 chins lol Then the bot continued to murder him
Ad deciphered: sir was drunk af ata bar while a sponsor witta beard came to him wit an offer he couldnt refuse lol
Poor Bus Shots, he just got there with his 12 chins
Abyss has entered the chat
The only thing that can outdps these bots is to use a staff as a melee weapon or wield a crossbow+tome and mage them or 1 ticking them. With the help of AI these things would probably not be possible in the future as the AI would learn the human counter effect more and more.
What I love about this is imagining Jagex making a boss like this
Dude is unknowingly making skynet through Runescape.
I remember when you could trick flax picking bots by dropping a trail of flax into the bats south of the seers flax fields, how far we've come.
