The problem with this plane is that the cargo space is so tiny and in Indonesia where people travel with a lot of bags, there are a Times that the plane simply can not hold all the luggage and have to leave some behind to be carried on the next available space in other flights.
The GE CF34s look so tiny on the back of the CRJ-1000...I would have liked to see the BR710....not only would it be sized to make the CRJ look like less of a toy, but the aircraft would be a rocket on takeoff!
Always wanted to try this CRJ 1000 from Medan to Bali using Garuda Indonesia (stop over Palembang) but right now the airline ticket in Indonesia is crazy. Higher more than 120% from it's normal price. For one trip from Medan-Bali it cost $400 a return ticket would be $800 that costs me a fortune for traveling in Indonesia at this moment. I am so sad i could not try this type of airplane which i find a very cool plane
Canada are pioneers in designing planes. Think the Twin Otter, Dash 8 Q400, C-series (A220 now), all the bush planes, Canada is simply one of the best. Economically CRJ is perfect and it's very safe. I don't care about people with their first-world problems. As long as it's safe and efficient and economical, it's a good plane.
Flightsim45 your not the only one. I feel that all the aircraft manufacturers keep trying to make everything bigger. It's all BIGGER BIGGER BIGGER! Who wants to use an expensive 777 for 30 minute flights? Airlines need smaller planes like the CRJ100/200.
Exactly. And people love to say its a bad plane because of comfort, but it has ample legroom and a 2-2 config is still better than having a middle seat. People who complain obviously haven't been travelling on public transit, let alone more cramped quarters like military. Economically CRJ is perfect and it's very safe. I don't care about people with their first-world problems. As long as it's safe and efficient and economical, it's a good plane.
to me this is a pritty impressive plain looking forward meeting as soon as i'm in ny or seatle ! ........ loads to talk about how to reshape plain for sure ! .... also convince a hybreed jet should safe another third on fuel .... and prototyps for that can be possible under 3 years ..... chairs and windows look amazing

Oh please. Like anyone flies on the Saab. Bombardier outdid themselves when they made the CRJ. They are really wide so you have high standards. So you get what you get. Go home 4 year old. It's not a spam can.
