Daoism views the ideal human existence as one that relates strictly to nature and the Universe. It stresses that to truly live well, we must be in harmony with nature, and not fight it. According to the Laozi, the Dao, or way of nature, refers to the energies and vibrations of natural matter. And how we connect to and are affected by those energies and vibrations is the practice of Daoism.
So how do we find Dao? And, more importantly, is finding Dao the key to a peaceful life?

I know you won’t read this but to those who watch this video. Keep in mind Taoism is like Chinese paganism. Laozi is only one of the teachers. The original Taoism wasn’t one set philosophy but a merge of different religions and beliefs, for example Yang zhu another Taoist philosopher advocates the complete opposite, to let yourself go and give in to your desires but give into them fully. To shed all metaphysical concepts and do whatever that maximizes your happiness even if it is against nature

Family Story
Little did our family of six know that Friday evening, September 24th, 2021, would be the last night our family would be complete. We laughed together, played games, sang, and enjoyed listening as our 16-year-old son, Ethan, played the piano for us. I packed a lunch for Ethan for a church mountain hike he was going on the following day.
My mother (who was visiting from out of state) and I woke early with Ethan on Saturday morning. He hugged me and smiled, never pulling away or rushing me. He got in the car, waved, said he'd see me later and he loved me. It was hard to watch my "new driver" heading out on his own that morning. As Ethan pulled out of the gate, I turned to my mother and said, "It's just so hard letting go." Little did I know how much "letting go" I was really doing. That was the last time I saw Ethan. He did not make it home that evening.
That afternoon, a friend tried to contact my husband, leaving an urgent message to call him back. He tried several times to return the call to no avail. As we were preparing supper, an overwhelming feeling of deep concern for Ethan filled my heart. I quietly blinked back tears. I glanced out the window, half expecting to see a police officer pull up to the house, but no one arrived. However, within a few minutes, a patrol car DID pull into the driveway. In my heart, I feared the worst. My husband and I went out to meet the officer, who confirmed our fears. Hesitantly, he told us our son had fallen off of
a bluff and had succumbed to his injuries. Our hearts were crushed; they still are.
Yet, in all of our brokenness, deep, continual grief and loneliness, our family has such a blessed Hope and assurance that we will see our dear son and brother again. You see, when Ethan was a young boy, he was saved; he put his faith in Jesus alone to forgive his sins and to take him to Heaven when he died. He realized some very important truths from the Bible that he would want to share with you.
His Story
Everyone is a sinner. Sin is any violation of God’s Law. God is holy, just and righteous, and He cannot allow sin in His presence. Ethan realized that he - like all of us - had sinned; and his sin separated Him from God.
“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; ” (Romans 3:23)
“Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:” (Romans 5:12)
He understood that, because of his sin, he deserved to spend eternity in Hell.
“For the wages of sin is death;” (Romans 6:23a) [Wages: price]
“But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.” (Revelation 21:8)
Ethan believed that Jesus, God’s Son, paid the price for all sin when He died on the cross - because His sinless sacrifice was the only thing that could satisfy the just demands of a righteous, holy God. Jesus was buried in a borrowed tomb, but He arose the third day, triumphant over sin, death, and Hell. Jesus is alive today!
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16)
“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” (Ephesians 2:8-9)
Ethan was sorry for his sin, repented (turned), and received by faith the free gift that God offered to him.
“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Romans 10:13)
“...but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” (Romans 6:23b)
Because of this great salvation, Ethan lived his life serving Jesus. He worked hard to spread this Good News to the world. He is alive in Heaven with Jesus today; and because of this great HOPE in Christ, we know we will see him again soon - not because he was a great kid, but because of his faith in the great Saviour!
“And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.” (John 10:28)
Your Story
What about you? What if you had fallen to your death that day - What if you were to die today? Where will you spend eternity - Heaven or the Lake of Fire? There will not be any parties in the Lake of Fire. It is a place of eternal torment for those who reject God's Son.
The Word of God is very clear that there is only One Way to Heaven.
“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” (John 14:6)
We did not know that Ethan would step into eternity that day; however, because he put his faith in Jesus alone for his salvation, Ethan was ready to go. Some day - perhaps today - you will take your last breath here on earth, and you will step into eternity. Where you spend eternity is determined by what you do with Jesus Christ. Will you accept Him or reject Him? You are not promised another day or another breath. Eternity begins soon - Are you ready?
“...Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved…” (Acts 16:31b)

Every single video of Aperture is so perfectly finished, it feels very immersive and relaxed to watch them.
Daoism ☯️ is definitely gotta win a award for the best belief system. Not literally in every sense of it's words. Just the basic core concept of being self aware of our selves and knowing that we need to find our balance sometimes. To Coexist with nature where you both can live in harmony rather than just disconnecting from nature and ruining salmon runs etc. Plus the ying yang ☯️ is literally the best symbol and I love what it represents. The world would be nothing without nature, and we wouldn't exist if it was for the Nature of Nature haha

What is the principle of Tao, Chinese people called virtues, Virtues is the most sincere truth in our heart, as they said when we gain something we must give something, this is called law of cause and effect. Stone have their own virtues, also animals and plants. Man virtues is to lead all things (stone, animal, plant, etc) to harmony and better future. So what happen to Those whose lose their virtues? Those who lose their virtues Will eventually perish (eliminated by nature), the most recent example is Hitler, he said he Will exterminate certain group of people and legalized that. But other people think that was unreasonable, he lose morals and naturally perish.
Western believe law is absolute, God commands is above all else, rulers makes law that confront moral, but other people things that law was unreasonable, so they change it, this is called Yi by Chinese, law of changed. Everything need to adapt to the time.
Daoism is one extremely hard thing to realise inside of our lives. Thats why we need those 10 minutes out of our phones and digest where we are.

The best way I’ve heard the yinyang symbol describes was as this. Imagine the whole symbol as a mountain, the yin, the side cast in shadow; the yang as the side in the sunlight. Both of which are of the same form, and so one side cannot exist without the other. Truthfully there is no separation outside of our own perception
Finding peace is a constant search
Agreed..! Recently I’ve realised that peace isn’t stored in yourself forever...that you have to try to find it everytime you lose it..! As you said “it’s a constant search.”
A search which, ironically, rarely leads us to any kind of long-lasting peace at all. True peace is a lack of things, not necessarily a presence of them; the lack of worries, the lack of disturbance, the lack of war and so on, so searching for it is a fruitless task. Might as well look for fairies instead.

Little did our family of six know that Friday evening, September 24th, 2021, would be the last night our family would be complete. We laughed together, played games, sang, and enjoyed listening as our 16-year-old son, Ethan, played the piano for us. I packed a lunch for Ethan for a church mountain hike he was going on the following day.
My mother (who was visiting from out of state) and I woke early with Ethan on Saturday morning. He hugged me and smiled, never pulling away or rushing me. He got in the car, waved, said he'd see me later and he loved me. It was hard to watch my "new driver" heading out on his own that morning. As Ethan pulled out of the gate, I turned to my mother and said, "It's just so hard letting go." Little did I know how much "letting go" I was really doing. That was the last time I saw Ethan. He did not make it home that evening.
That afternoon, a friend tried to contact my husband, leaving an urgent message to call him back. He tried several times to return the call to no avail. As we were preparing supper, an overwhelming feeling of deep concern for Ethan filled my heart. I quietly blinked back tears. I glanced out the window, half expecting to see a police officer pull up to the house, but no one arrived. However, within a few minutes, a patrol car DID pull into the driveway. In my heart, I feared the worst. My husband and I went out to meet the officer, who confirmed our fears. Hesitantly, he told us our son had fallen off of
a bluff and had succumbed to his injuries. Our hearts were crushed; they still are.
Yet, in all of our brokenness, deep, continual grief and loneliness, our family has such a blessed Hope and assurance that we will see our dear son and brother again. You see, when Ethan was a young boy, he was saved; he put his faith in Jesus alone to forgive his sins and to take him to Heaven when he died. He realized some very important truths from the Bible that he would want to share with you.

Everyone is a sinner. Sin is any violation of God’s Law. God is holy, just and righteous, and He cannot allow sin in His presence. Ethan realized that he - like all of us - had sinned; and his sin separated Him from God.
“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; ” (Romans 3:23)
“Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:” (Romans 5:12)
He understood that, because of his sin, he deserved to spend eternity in Hell.
“For the wages of sin is death;” (Romans 6:23a) [Wages: price]
“But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.” (Revelation 21:8)
Ethan believed that Jesus, God’s Son, paid the price for all sin when He died on the cross - because His sinless sacrifice was the only thing that could satisfy the just demands of a righteous, holy God. Jesus was buried in a borrowed tomb, but He arose the third day, triumphant over sin, death, and Hell. Jesus is alive today!

indeed. Went on a vacation with my best mate and we took shrooms, went on a kayak and paddled to a nearby island. On the island as i was smoking a joint, i started crying like a baby, it was neither sadness, neither hapiness. It was more of a relief, because my mind was empty and i finally felt free from all the worry and anxiety of my daily life that ive felt for the last 3 years. It wasnt even an intense experience, but that feeling was so overwhelming. The reason they are illegal is becuase the govermnent doesnt care about you or your health, they care about control, and psychs make you question the status quo, they dissolve the boundaries that are conditioned on our minds and make us realize that everything we know and take for granted might be a lie. They are a direct threat to those in power thats why they are illegal and stigmatized, but the world is slowly waking up!

respecting the dao balance does NOT mean being content with what you have. Advancement is allowed, so long as balance is RESTORED. Waving building up to their peak is a moment of only yang, without ying. yet balance is not broken because it is restored soon after. Our every growing and fast paced world is the buildup of yang, we just need a bit of ying to calm it down, or the world will forcibly create it.

I am naturally very anxious and obsessed with efficiency and getting stuff done.
However, I havent had a break in years. My life feels like an endless treadmill I can't escape.
So as a result, my tidal wave has crashed and I took up cross dressing to cope. This is directly because of the build up of my "Yang" without any release of it into "Yin".
So now I am suffering due to the after effects of this Tsunami.
I hope to recover soon so I can find peace and balance in my life once more.

It is slowly ruining my self image and my confidence.
I dont recommend it. It is an unhealthy coping mechanism. Everyone going through struggle should go to gym, find therapist, and learn to relax a bit more so they can "bend before they break".
You should live for the moment and live before you die and bend before you break.

My mind is always busy thinking what is the best way to spend my time
Recently, I came to a conclusion that one of the best ways for me to stay productive is to make a dynamic schedule - for example, suppose I want to complete long tasks A, B, and C (e.g. learning a new skill), I don't know where to begin or what's more important; so in my dynamic schedule I can set that I want to dedicate at least 3 hours to learn A, at least 3 hours to learn B and at least 3 hours to learn C
This way, suppose I've become very invested in learning A, I can continue as much as my mind would let me, and I will still be satisfied with my productivity as I already spent the 6 hours of learning B and C

Maybe another way of looking at it is mankind is yang energy and all forward progress into the future and all the advancements (good and bad it brings)...and maybe the yang is nature itself. Mankind should entertain maybe the yin and yang inside but also on a global scale. Could it be argued that the advancement of Humanity still falls within the yin/yang paradigm, but only on a larger scale? Everything in the Universe is happening according to pre-existing causes, so maybe on a scale of the Earth/larger timescale we are undergoing an imbalance in Yin/Yang. Possibly the idea of a new consciousness, talked about by Eckhart Tolla could restore the balance to an increasingly disconnected society that is alienated from both nature and each other.

I feel magnetism and electromagnetism play such a crucial aspect of the cosmos. It's really facinating how so many properties with-in Nature use; "Differences" that seem to be a key factor in keeping dynamic systems functioning. High pressure/low pressure, hot/cold temp, different densities, static electric charges/discharges, electromagnetism north/south poles, different velocity/angular momentum, layers between different regions such as, land, water, air, edge of atmosphere, space, the different regions in space with different particle density, creating bubbles/membrane layers, cloud regions, nebula's/ Galaxy's, Galaxy clusters, less dense voids regions of space. All of these things are basic differences but create a way for the dynamic engine with-in Nature to continue flowing and operating to create and convert energy. How a battery 🔋 transfers + charges through a membrane layer to a - charged side. Like how regions of high/low pressure and temperature 🌡️differences create winds. Transfer that into water or planets core and add density. It creates either ocean currents and flow or planetary convection geothermal activity.
