      It’d be better for them to replace the whole horn strokes with speaker strobes.

    My last high school alarm was not a drill, someone pulled it. Because here in Canada, we don't do drills in the cold.

    We had ours Valentine's day lol, our principal is strict with making sure the drills are done literally monthly, meaning our next one will be on March 14th.

      My school before i graduated this past May In 2023 they always did the drills last minute and I get in trouble for being tardy because we come back inside from having the drill and it’s our next class and I’m like it’s not even my fault because YALL do it 2 minutes after the bell rings for our next class so and I have to put my earphones in and cancellation so I can’t hear the alarms at all I can see the lights flashing but I can’t hear it going off witch is cool with me I’m autistic and don’t like loud noises or anything loud

      Ours are done usually within the first 10 minutes of class. Our principal wants them to be done in all 7 hours of classes, meaning our next one will be during 2nd hour.@@QueenKenziegaming

    I liked how all your school alarms used to all use code 3 ngl. My school fire alarms are all currently code 3 and use the speaker strobe sound which I love

    Dang American Fire Alarms are way louder than the British ones

      Too much high frequency signals by regulations, I'm afraid...

      These are loud, but there are fire horns/buzzers that are much louder than these.

    • @joeycaridi3030
      @joeycaridi3030 4 месяца назад

      Yeah because of scientific studies show that loud, high frequency, and screeching/whistle blowing sounds are very effective to get people to leave the building from a fire alarm hence why these fire alarms are so very effective

      No USA alarms are not necessarily louder than British ones So USA alarms are not the loudest ones

    Hey there. Have you had any fire or other type of drill for March yet? I suppose your spring break is coming up soon, so if not, your next drill should be in a week or 2. I know you start doing tornado drills instead of fire drills in the spring too. Just wondering if they’ve announced any March drill yet? I know you’re a busy guy so take your time. Thanks. :)

      Yeah, one reason I don't like the whoop. Should be used more for tornado/weather stuff than fire

      @blose774 5 месяцев назад +1

      @@SportyTrainGuy Yeah,it can be confusing to people and they might think there is a tornado.The code 3 low frequency tone would better fit the fire alarm since it doesn't have a siren tone in it.

      When I was in school, none of us were ever warned of one happening. Our alarms are pretty loud so it startled me every time we had one.

      This is rare, even in the U.S. they never tell us about fire drills. Sometimes in elementary/primary school, they told the students at the beginning of the day that there will be a drill, but they rarely told us the time it would take place. In middle and high school (grades 6-12) they would usually tell the teachers the date and time, but not tell the students. This was because when they did the drills, it was supposed to be a complete simulation of a real emergency. Same thing is true in my college residence hall, they’ll only tell the staff about the drill. In grade 6 through now, I have been able to get notified before it happens due to my fear of sudden noises, but I’m told to keep the info a complete secret, they care about it that much.

      @@djijspeakerguy4628 I agree that students shouldn’t be told when it will happen so it can be taken seriously when ever one happens
