Does this model allow an iPhone 5 or higher be answered from the handset? Some reviews of connect to cell claim calls must be answered on the cell then transferred to the handset. Also, can more handsets be added to this model?

Hi Susi. Yes, this model is compatible with iPhone 5 and higher, and cell calls can be answered from the cordless handset. You can also add additional handsets, model DS6072, to a max. of 5 cordless devices (handsets + headsets). So that would mean with the DS6771-3, you can add two additional cordless handsets.
