I think Bombay are one of those bands who will never really get sucked into that mainstream sound and always produce pretty good albums whatever they do
+Lauren Imbierski Music is auditory art, though most music these days is not true art... true art has flawless flaws, and stuff like Justin Bieber is only flawless, making it bland... but these guys have mastered the true art of music and are bringing it back to life and to society
they are not indie they're actually with Island Records which is a branch of Universal group, pretty big ass label, far from indie. Still a great band though, love their sound.
Erick Soriano Lol, They are actually considered an Indie Rock Band, Just saying. And Island Records have a lot of artist's with different music genre's. Also just saying.
Fantastic integration of percussion and synth pads to the mix. A thrilling dance tune from an outstanding band. They're wiser beyond their years and their technical approach to the music proves that BBC have grown vastly in their last four/five years on the music scene.
Im surprised that I like almost every song of bombay bicycle club.Whenever I hear a good song from another band I only listen to that one song and I never listened to their other songs. But I listened to almost every song of bombay bicycle club and I'm surprised I like all of them :)
Is "rock and smash" a new cool sub-genre of music I've never heard of, or just a description of how they treat their drum set? :) If it is a genre, who else would you place in it? And I agree with +Bell on the songs. All so good! Love 'em!
Definitely one of the best bands out there. Always changing up and developing their sound and hitting the nail on the head every time. They can do no bloody wrong! Unreal lads!!
Sweet Jesus, that beat is like a really unnerving, yet captivating psychological thriller: It _offends_ your mind, yet still, it feels so goddamn *_right!_*
Saw these live a couple weeks ago, one of the best bands I've ever seen live! This song was incredible, got the entire crowd going nuts, was so explosive! Would kill to see them again! 10/10 gig Bombay, well done
Well, after attending their latest gig I can assure you, that it will be great. They played 6 or 7 songs from the new album, and I can say that it was the first time when I liked the new songs from the first listening. Can't wait for Luna single, this song is just beautiful.
xeenik_ Oh yeah! He is a producer too, it's how I got to BBC in the first place. Just look for Jack Steadman, he has a song called 'Cheating' that features Lucy Rose, who is awesome too.
xeenik_ He's also got loads of experimental stuff on his Soundclick page that he did when he was about 14. Some of it's on RUclips - Daydream, Isolation and Never Serious are my favourites.
The intro music that picks up at 01:08 is almost exactly the same as another track (no vocals in that track). Do you know what song I maybe talking about? Have been looking for that track since I heard it at a club.
So Long, See You Tomorrow is the fourth album by the London indie rock band Bombay Bicycle Club, released on 3 February 2014. The album is named after the novel of the same name by William Maxwell.
So, SO sick!!!!! I love this band so much it hurts!! Bombay Bicycle Club always kills it with their music, art direction, live shows...complete perfection to my ears and eyes. Can't wait for the new album and for you to tour it, please come back to Philly soon!!! xx
***** If you cant recognize this music video isn't at least the slightest bit pretentious id say your being dishonest to yourself, I mean, don't get me wrong BBC is great but this video is just silly.
***** *indie. This is an indie rock band, so it would make sense they're style is indie. It's no big deal though really, hispters just changed around scene and indie together to make that style known.
This album is 100% giving me life!! It is EVERYTHING!! I love how experimental and playful the sounds are on this album. I love the grit of this song….can't stop dancing to it.
Ohhhhhhh I do like! Has that old raw style from 'I had the blues' but it's all wrapped up in some nice electro. Only the hope now is that the rest of the album delivers.
A buddy sent me this a couple years ago, I didn’t care for the song at the time, and it just popped into my head again a few days ago. Couldn’t remember the title (ironically), only the band name and the drums in the video. I like it now. :)
I always felt BBC's strongest moments were their more Rhythmic/Catchier songs and this really plays to those strengths with a nice modern twist! Still sounds like them but just modernized which is very cool! Very excited to hear the whole album!
new direction of music. I'm not going to hate on bbc, i trust jacks skills as a song writer. but i wish the lyrics said, "if anybody wants to know, our love is getting old"
you just missed them! they recently finished their album release tour , but if you want to catch them they will be performing at festivals (like Latitude) this summer! they are amazing live! go see them!
They're doing a small tour in December. A band called Peace are playing support so i'd highly recommend checking them out and going to the show! I've seen 'em twice and they are so good.
I think Bombay are one of those bands who will never really get sucked into that mainstream sound and always produce pretty good albums whatever they do
This comment is still valid

This isn't music, it's art; a masterpiece.

True art is an explosion
Best thing they've done in a while! Incredible.
Totally agree. Great stuff

I agree I don't really like the other songs of this band but this one is incredible!
My middle school teacher recommended me this song, thanks Mr. Phillips

im 16 and this song is making memories for me!!
I've always loved them, but when I saw them live..... I was blown away! Especially this song!
Indie Rock / Pop at it's finest
they are not indie they're actually with Island Records which is a branch of Universal group, pretty big ass label, far from indie. Still a great band though, love their sound.
Their sound is unique that's what I meant in the indie aspect. But yes they are a terrific band. One of my favourites
Erick Soriano Lol, They are actually considered an Indie Rock Band, Just saying. And Island Records have a lot of artist's with different music genre's. Also just saying.
***** Indie is not a genre. Just saying brah.
Re read what i said. GG
This album and their previous album are both MUST OWNS.
2 of their best
Fantastic integration of percussion and synth pads to the mix. A thrilling dance tune from an outstanding band. They're wiser beyond their years and their technical approach to the music proves that BBC have grown vastly in their last four/five years on the music scene.
When Jack Steadman and Lucy Rose sing together, it instantly makes things better :D
This song gets better every time you hear it. And the album is a masterpiece.
First listen: assaulted my ears. Where is Jack's sweet, sweet crooning?
Second listen: omg
Third listen: on repeat for rest of day

+TheMajesticDude2233 Yeah, their albums are the only albums i don't have the feeling of wanting to skip any of the songs. :D
+Bell This band pretty much defines rock and smash :D
They never did a bad song ever.Unlike most bands the albums get better and better.
Is "rock and smash" a new cool sub-genre of music I've never heard of, or just a description of how they treat their drum set? :) If it is a genre, who else would you place in it?

i'm in love with this. if you get the opportunity to see them live, don't hesistate and do it. incredible
This song is bloody AMAZING.
I could totally throw a party with this song playing non-stop.

every frame of this video looks like it could be the cover of the album
This band. Praise.
The amount of talent is unbelievable.
BBC aren't afraid to try different things! that's what makes them stand out to me. I predict the new album will be very, very good.
Well, after attending their latest gig I can assure you, that it will be great. They played 6 or 7 songs from the new album, and I can say that it was the first time when I liked the new songs from the first listening. Can't wait for Luna single, this song is just beautiful.
chalovak …And now it's here, and it's bloody brilliant.

And they're back!
The most exciting band in the UK right now.
This is the most perfect song for you to come back on :)
I'm so happy that I discovered this awesome band!
i literally just randomly came across this song years ago and i don’t even know how i found it but ever since i heard it i’ve loved it
This intro is blissful
I cant stop this!
Sounds like Jack's solo stuff, and the first LP... awesome blend!
Which solo stuff? I didn't know Jack had done any solo work? :)
xeenik_
Oh yeah! He is a producer too, it's how I got to BBC in the first place. Just look for Jack Steadman, he has a song called 'Cheating' that features Lucy Rose, who is awesome too.

This song is amazing. Bombay's breaking it down. I'm sure DJ's are having tons of fun mixing this one up
Love how different it is to their normal stuff, yet their style is still recognisable. Amazing!
Listening to this song for 3 months for 4-5 times a day. Still not tired. OMG what a song!!!!!
The intro music that picks up at 01:08 is almost exactly the same as another track (no vocals in that track). Do you know what song I maybe talking about? Have been looking for that track since I heard it at a club.
Walking With Elephants by Ten Walls?
Holy, i was thinking the same thing! Definitely walking with elephants!
I'm liking Ed's new mullet.
So different to their old stuff! But I am not a traditionalist; I call this evolution. And I absolutely love it
Best. Band. Ever. Period

I've been waiting far too long for this, and it's been worth it :D welcome back BBC!
Not long came back from Lost Village Festival in Lincolnshire, UK. This was the first time I'd seen or heard this song and it blew me away live.
OMG. I think I played this song about 30 times.
As soon as the song ended i heard home by now....been listening to these guys too much.

most exciting band out there at the moment!
This is the first BBC song I ever heard and it sucked me in immediately. It has such a big sound. I feel like I'm right in the middle of it.
I always felt BBC's strongest moments were their more Rhythmic/Catchier songs and this really plays to those strengths with a nice modern twist! Still sounds like them but just modernized which is very cool! Very excited to hear the whole album!
Only knew their fisrt album, and the new one seems to be very good as well...Excellent !!!
new direction of music. I'm not going to hate on bbc, i trust jacks skills as a song writer. but i wish the lyrics said, "if anybody wants to know, our love is getting old"
That is the lyric; the lyrics sites have it wrong.
