    I spend approx. $5 year on peroxide. I take the water filter housing off and pour in 2 or 3 teaspoons and the smell is 100% gone. I only need to do this 1 or 2 weeks each year in the spring. So why cant there be a simple little pump I could find to hook up that would save me unscrewing the filter. All I can find are these expensive systems.

      You pour the peroxide down where?

      I am NOT with US Water but from looking at the videos you use food grade 7% Hydrogen Peroxide. They sell Oxi-Pro by the gallon.

    Do I still need to take the anode out of the hot water heater?

    • @uswatersystems
      @uswatersystems  6 лет назад

      No. I would recommend changing those every 4 years though as it will extend the life of your water heater.

      US Water Systems but the ‘standard ‘anode I believe is magnesium, but from the sulphuric you should change to a zinc one., or do I have it backwards ? From NJ

    Chlorine absolutely is an oxidizer

      It absolutely is, but pales in comparison to Hyrdrogen Peroxide. The video says " it is not a good oxidizer" , which means it is an oxidizer, but not as good as others.

    The website contradicts what you say here. The link for sulfur on your site tries to sell you an oxygen system. Can you please explain.

      Hello. The Oxy-Gen System you are seeing is a Hydrogen Peroxide injection system. Like we mentioned, hydrogen peroxide is the best way to get rid of sulfur.

    Got news for u, ozone is the strongest oxidizer in existence. H2O2 is not as easy as ozone as you must replenish it.

      David Lees you best find out from your water company, as they have been using cloramate instead of CHLORINE, big problem for much stuff..especially if you keep fish, you may kill them, as it doesNOT DISIPATE AS EASY AsCHLORINE, cheers from NJ
