I purchased the same 39mm in blue a few months ago and I love it. It was my daily watch for a couple months until it went into a rotation, I feel bad if I neglect to wear my other watches. I chose it because after doing my research, it was by far the best value for money considering what I was looking for; ceramic bezel, screw down crown, 40mm or under and from a Swiss brand with heritage. The 39mm fits perfectly (in my opinion) on my 6 1/4" wrist. As stated in most reviews, the negatives are the polished center links but I enjoy the shine of them even if they are scratch magnets. The other negative is the "cheap" clasp, which after wearing for months, I do not mind. The watch will show it's use, but I wear it and love it. Highly recommend.
I love this watch . I’ve had one for over 2 years . I was a big watch obsessive, I’ve tried so many divers Oris , Tag Aquaracer, 3 different Seamasters, etc . One day I just woke up and sold them all and settled on the Hydroconquest. I’m no longer a watch obsessive and it’s been my daily driver ever since lol
@@welcomewrist To be honest it was one of the first Swiss divers that I owned . Overall it’s a fine watch but I found it to be more tool and less versatile then other Divers like the Hydroconquest, some aquaracers , black bay, seamaster , etc. This was a few years ago but I didn’t keep it long and I took a loss . I went from the Aquis to a aquatacer and I kept the Tag a lot longer . I might be the wrong person to ask because overall the Aquis really didn’t connect with me . I would say try it on in person if you can.
Beautiful! This is about the top price I'd ever pay for a watch and it seems like quite a good "bang for the buck." Great video. Thanks for addressing the on-screen vs. real-life colors. I was wondering about that.
Amazing watch. Not oversized and it gives so a luxury look. Favorite colorcombination for me. And i totally agree with the box feeling, those watches are not cheap so you expect a matched luxury box! 😁
As a fellow hydroconquest owner, I'm suprised by the play and relative looseness of the bezel It's not a big deal, but I have seikos with better-fitted bezels! Glad to know my hydroconquest isn't the only one with this problem.
Go with the Tissot sea star 1000 automatic it’s a terrific watch. I currently on it in the Sunburst blue dial along with PRX automatic. I could not agree more third 2000 was Just Way too big for me but you will find the seastar 1000 is perfect at least in my opinion.
Smaller numbers on the dial, fully brushed links, better clasp with on the fly adjustment, no date variant and this would check all the boxes for the price.
question .i v bought the same 39mm hydroconquest Blue dial ceramic automatic from Longines. i m a bit confused. is the lume supposed to be blue or green . my lume s not as luminous and it is green. , not blue. i paid the full amount $ 1755 us currency n came along with warranty card.
I purchased it from someone, but you should be able to find these at any Longines AD. I'm sure you could even purchase it straight from the Longines website.
Three fun facts That oversized crown and guards represent the Longines logo. Hour glass and wings are the oldest unchanged continuous logo in the world. Mido for 1000$ literally rapes this model,Longines braclet and clasp are hideous for 1700$ while Mido has maybe pound to pound the best braclet and clasp on the market.
Don’t care it’s a luxury watch that’s nearly a tank. I work as a Mason and my watch is fine and still looking new after couple years wearing it everyday and also much more well known than a mido 😂

Well said. The watch ticks a lot of boxes, especially at its price point.

I was actually tossing between this and the Oris Aquis. What was your experience like with the Oris?

Not a major issue at all, but it was a little disappointing, considering how good the watch is.
I agree with you, boxes are absolutely important for a watch, they are a somewhat irrational purchase anyway so it should go all the way.
Thanks for the detailed break-down
Very nice looking watch, the blue is 👌
Yep, the color on this is one of my favourite aspects of the watch.
Beautiful watch. I really like those crown guards.
They definitely give the watch its own identity.
They say the crown guards look like Longines logo
Really nice Watch……. Also the Conquest looks Great….nice video ILL buy One of those this year….
Just got the 39mm black ceramic. I'm so impressed with this piece. Subscribed.
They're such awesome watches. Thank you for the support!
Killer watch. Great unboxing!
Appreciate it! Really enjoying the watch at the moment.
I'm torn between this and the Tissot sea master 2000. After this video I'm thinking this watch, the tissot is a little to big for me

Consider the Mido Ocean Star. Splits the difference in price between the Tissot and Longines, but IMO quality is better than both.
@@bdawg3014 yep bro im agree with u, the Mido Ocean Star is excellent watch!
I've just ordered one of these. I'm glad it has extra links in the box just incase you have to add more

Great unboxing.. I'm looking at a new daily and this might suit!
How’s the lume ? Does it last long ? It seems to fade quickly
The lume is good. It fades from it's brightest point quick, but maintains lume well.
@@welcomewrist I thought there is a problem with mine so fading quickly seems to be normal then. Thank you for your reply
Beautiful watch but needs the bracelet from the gmt.Longines had so many winners last year but what is the deal with their lugs.
Dam that’s a beautiful watch!
I just bought this in a pawnshop for $328 dollars in perfect conditions 😎
Thats a fantastic deal!
One if my workhorse watches
Amazing watch

The lume isn't the best on the hydroconquest, and it may be due to my camera making it appear blue
@@welcomewrist thank you.
I own one and lume with bracled are weakness of this watch
@@MrNivarox you r right, i cant stand the lume. other than that watch along withnits moventn sperfect .
