NO! Not a '68 Olds Cutlass (499), right off the start! My favorite race cars were my Cutlasses. Orange too! I either owned and drove, or worked on a crew of 5 of them throughout the years. Always '68 to '72 models. **whimper**

But as I said on another post, over here we have the south. Dumping ground of all things wore out. And then the north. Dumping ground of all things that rust. Between the two, no classic American car is a write-off.

BTW. Not a criticism. To each his own and all that. But, at any point during these 30 or 40 car scrums in the turns, does anyone say, "You know, that car in the middle that is now about the size of three-drawer filing cabinet? You think he could use some assistance?"

+DDS029 If anyone is in danger they'll signal to the marshals who'll red flag the race so they can get out safely (assume that what you were asking?)

You're assuming they still can signal someone.
I've worked "Demolition Derbies" here in the US. Which starts out looking like most turns in Banger Racing. We didn't wait that long. If someone picked his nose in a way that looked like we thought he broke it, we assumed the worst and threw a red to check on him.
