Good singer John Schneider I didn't know that knew how to sing such loving songs until this year ❤️ your favorite fan 😍 Ms Lesley haswell ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thought the same thing about Hazard Ky. It took a while and I was Georgia bound two years ago. I went from one small town to another. The difference was the peace that I finally found.
Just to let you know, he got that old charger going and made it out of that town, became a living legend and made a amazing life for himself and his family.
I have 70 chevelle up on blocks. I have a porch facing a river. I haven't moved since 1979. I bought the family home in 1991. Driven semi 🚛 for 22yrs & looks like I'm not moving either. Train don't come thru here they ripped up the tracks in the 80s but they still own the land. This reminded me of my small town.
Reminds me of growing up in Louisiana. I use to walk along the train tracks as a kid there even of a trestle. Then the railroad went away. I was truly free back then. Kids are no longer free. Kids are left in the house like a dog kennel. I wonder how this will effect people growing up now.
I just watched this for the first time and for some strange reason after maybe 10 seconds into it I didnt see John Schneider sitting on the porch singing this. I saw Bo Duke. And then when the General showed up I was like holy crap ! Poor old Bo’s the only one left around Hazzard ! It was sad !! Great piece of work John,,but sad.
For me, I hear this song from a different perspective. I left my small home town one month after graduating high school. Now I am stuck living in suburbia commuting in traffic for an hour and a half a day. I want to go home and live a simpler life in my small hometown in the mountains but I can't get outa this town. Love this song.
Mr. Schneider, you are truly a country singer! Thank you for staying true to your roots. We need more artists like you in the business today! I have always loved your albums and your acting. Keep up the great work! This song reminds me of myself, as I live in a dying town myself. I want to get out, but my family is rooted in this old town. What a great song!
@John Schneider, I love this song!! I feel like this sometimes.. Loved growing old with you Friend!! I think we have seen a lot in our lives!! Jesus is Lord! Bless you 😇🤗💞
Great music from a GREAT singer from the traditional country music days. I am still listening since I was a kid. You were always one of my favorite singers. Keep the music coming John. Ben B.
The town must be called "Hazzard" I met John at a car show in my town I had him sign my Bow that as a kid id shoot arrows sitting on the door my dads green 1970 charger shooting a hay bale into the garage I tried taping road flares but my target bow arrows just dropped lol.I lived every friday to watch the newest episodes.John is a real nice guy in person
I miss his acting just as much as I miss his singing, I remember back in 1986 or so when he bumped Alabama off the top of the charts to become #1 himself with his song at the time. I know this is just a video but he seemed to connect really close emotionally with this song. I love how he referred to the Dodge Charger in this song & then it showed a pic of the General Lee. Great song.
@@codyjames9376 His job, his girlfriend, his family obligations, perhaps his lack of copious money - all prevent him from leaving. If he only cared about HIMSELF then he WOUlD leave.
@@JohnSchneiderStudios Hey John I knew you sang but the more videos I watch on your channel the more I realized how talented of a singer you truly are. Thanks for the content. I truly enjoy your channel thank you John.
I remember you John when I as 12 you came to our state fair with the General. We had pictures together. I wish I still had that photo. Lost it in moving from foster to foster home. God Bless you. Love from western Iowa USA 🇺🇸 🥰👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
I'm loving it, ,,, most of that video was shot with a drown in my home town amite la, not far from Johns house,,,holden la.,,,I'm reading some of these comments about him singing,,,I must add that John can sing his ass off ,,,most people don't even know he can sing, ,,he can pack a place real quick, ,an not even try
Prayers. Use to watch the Dukes of Hazard with my grand parents. Good show that is misunderstood today. Thanks for the music, your acting and this song. Nice to see someone use their gifts & talents. God gives us blessings but that doesn't mean life isn't hard sometimes. Small town life has it's good, negative and in-between like everything else. There are people in small towns that have felt some of what this song says. Corporations have harmed small towns more then helped them thrive in the last decades. Some are suffering due to lack of investment into them. Prayers for healing for us all. all rights reserved
Hey John ! This has become my new FAVORITE song ! It reminds me of the little town I live in, a little whole in the wall called Iuka, MS. where they roll up the sidewalks around 10:00 p.m. so o speak LOL !
John's voice has become more husky and rich. I actually prefer this to his earlier recordings. Life experiences have found there way into voice. Love it.
Had to subscribe. When I think back on my childhood alot of what comes to mind is Uncle Jesse, you and Luke and Daisy, those were some good times. One day I'll have me an old orange charger but it won't be up on blocks😁. Thanks John for the song from rural America.
Nice song Mr. Schneider. One to think on for us who are from a small town like myself. I did get out, but not by my choice. I miss it , especially after living in a big city for a long time. I met you in Gallup NM when you were doing dancing with the stars, and you were very kind and I appreciate the time you took out for me. I've been a fan of yours since the Dukes of Hazzard days. I thought it was so cool that you were on Curb your enthusiasm show too. Best wishes to you and your's and continue roll of good luck.
