I currently work at Subway, and my first day of making sandwiches, a customer ordered a tuna sandwich with every vegetable (but not just the usual portion, they wanted extra of every vegetable), mayonnaise, and if I remember correctly, either the vinaigrette or oil. Very weird sandwich in my opinion.
One time we had someone ask for a footlong sandwich with a footlong serving of every meat. It costed around $50 and he gave the person that made it a nice tip.
Weirdest sandwich I ever made working 3 years at Subway was almost half a bottle of mayo and a couple handfuls of black olives and that's all on it. The lady told me it was all her son would eat.

The weirdest sandwich I ever made was for this one dude who came in once a week and got the same thing every time. It was a foot long tuna on honey oat bread, toasted with cheese, lite lettuce, SLATHERED in mayo, SLATHERED in mustard, and a mountain of pickles. Like it came out sopping wet afterwards 😂😖. We also had this woman who came in who we called the “spinach lady” and she would get just her bread and so much spinach to where you couldn’t close the sandwich. She told me “If you can close the sandwich, it’s not enough”
I worked at McDonalds for eight and a half years, starting as basic crew and eventually moving on to head of human resources for the home office of all 15 locations. I feel like that's the sort of experience we are expecting from an AMA video/thread.
I’ve never seen a pleasant subway worker so I’m assuming the job is awful. And the fact that none of these people worked there for more than a year proves it to me 😂😂😂
Subway secret menu item is the Chicken pizziola. It's 6 pieces of pepperoni with the diced chicken and then marinara sauce. It's really good. I've never once seen it on any Subway menu.
I went to Subway almost every day for lunch when I worked nearby and the manager would often give me free cookies or chips. One time the staff had ordered KFC for lunch and gave me a piece to go with my sub lol. Perks of being a regular I guess 😂
I call my sandwich the Taylor. It has turkey, swiss, lettuce, tomato, banana pepper, onions, salt and pepper, generous mayo and brown mustard. All on Italian herb and cheese bread. And of course a chocolate chip cookie. The best fast food cookies are at Subway
First 34 seconds in and you realize not one of them even been working there for a year so theres a good chance these are probably really bad employees 🤔
Not at all. I worked at Subway for 3 months. I quit bcuz of pregnancy complications. But let me say.. the scheduling and pay is terrible. They expect you to be on call. But don't offer wore than 10 hrs a wk. The pay is 7.25/hr (minimum wage). It's not worth it.
I worked there one year, I would of kept working but the regional manager was awful she degraded employees every time she was there. She tried to get me written up for a machine error, something I have zero control over [managements job]. I worked so many extra shifts for that place, I worked openings, closings, at the drop of a hat, I had the lowest food waste of all the employees, and when I had my plantar fascia muscle in my right foot rip, even with a doctors note stating I couldn't be on my feet for very long and it would take 9-11 months to heal, she still had me on my feet the entire time, that foot muscle didn't heal properly thanks to that.
I worked at Subway for about 3 years. We used to make Salsa and Guac in the back and trade our free sandwiches for burritos and chips with Baja Fresh nearby.
I worked at subway for 6 years, sadly. Had A LOT of weird orders, like pouring straight up pickle juice all over the sandwich or using a whole cambro of black olives and drowning it in sweet onion sauce. You can legit do almost whatever you want. I’ve put cookies and chips on regularly, mostly just obscene amounts of a particular ingredient. There were some regulars I would put extra meat and stuff on it for them. Sometimes gave it for free. I agree, nothing is like too tasking to make except sandwiches that are filled to the brim. We put certain amounts of each ingredient so that sandwiches being smashed to close it or them breaking doesn’t happen
I worked graveyard at a subway inside a hospital. Which was a slow start. Mostly hospital staff and cops were the only people who came in. Then I was listening to the radio one day and the DJ was complaining about the lack of places open to eat after the bars closed. So I called in and told him that theres a 24 hour subway, and he actually told people about it on air. My friday and saturday night shifts were crazy after that. Drunk ass people coming in ordering subs. Had a chick yell at me because the meatballs were too small. Like i had any control over the size of some frozen ass meatballs.
why do some subways "run out" of onions and spinach? I know its probably already pre-sliced when it arrives; so theres not prep work. But its no way this random subway just so happen to run out of inventory on two cheap production items but have plenty of ham and chicken.
In Finland the limit is like 4 cucumber pieces but the olives are grabbed by hand spread around. Corn is either grabbed or scooped but either way olives and corn are always too lightly applied

I quit going to subway over 10 years ago thanks to the subway n the Castle Rock Outlet mall in Colorado. When I took my first bite my sweet onion chicken teriyaki I had plastic in it. When I shewed the manager he said “oh that’s from the lettuce”.
I managed a Subway in college back in 2000. It’s not the same as it used to be. Grossing thing was one customer who basically wanted a black olive sandwich and you just couldn’t put enough on her sandwich and the franchise owner would have me charge her for the most expensive menu item with double meat option since olives are the most expensive item to supply for customers.
There’s one guy that always comes near closing, but he didn’t order a sandwich! He’s my #1 customer, he’d always get Doritos(Nacho Cheese) in a salad bowl, hella shredder cheese on top (only microwave enough for the cheese to melt, not the bowl to burn) then he adds (back then Siracha) Chipotle, Jalapeños, Banana Peppers, Green Peppers, and Parmesan Cheese! That was cool and different, plus he always tipped $5
JAMES FROM THE ODDS1OUT ANSWERED ALL MY SOOUBWAY QUESTIONZZZ Edit: woooooo thanks for the likes I'm shooketh..... 😂 Lmao.. idk what I'm doing with my life
Tiannah Southworth me too!!! I worked at a subway inside a hospital. I always worked the night shift. The things that happened late night in a hospital....
The secret we had was we had A LOT of picky children and so we kept peanut butter and jelly in the back for those kids and just charge it as a turkey kids meal or a veggie six inch depending on the size.
Real answer: we were only allowed to put 6 of every veggie except lettuce and spinach. 6 olives 6 jalapenos 6 onion pieces 6 pepper pieces Etc And for a 6 inch sub it's only 3 instead of 6. You HAVE to ask for more. Idk how many times I got yelled at for doing more than 3/6 🙄
We had a regular that we'd give cookie dough to. No one ever got fired over that. Also, the people that put on extra meats and things....your inventory must be awful!
I worked there for about 2 years and my weirdest sandwiches were one woman asked me to toast her sandwich about 3 times so that when it finally came out the bread was completely black and she seemes pretty happy about it, the other one was just a guy who got a portion of every single meat on his sandwich, it was a mess of a sandwich, not easy to close
We had a field manager give a 10 minute lecture on olives and he gave bs numbers about how many extra olives or dropped or put on sandwiches by every employee every day at every store and calculated the price of a single olive and how it totalled to a massive waste of money
When I was working at Subway one guy asked me to make him sandwich with everything we had + he asked for permission to film that...so he was filming me while I was putting everything in that sandwich ...meatballs, ham, turkey, beef, tuna, salami, pepperoni , chicken, bacon, cheese, all of the sauces and veggies...
Secret menu for me and my co worker was just rotisserie chicken with melted cheddar on top with jalapeños, black olives, bell peppers, banana peppers, chipotle, creamy siracha, ranch and then eat it with the doritos.

Milad answered all the questions , but better.

why didn’t anyone ask if its actually fresh
kell_ur_ self__ it’s all packaged food
I work at subway and its not . its packaged for one . and our store truck comes once a week . and by the time the week is up its bot as "fresh"
The secret we had was we had A LOT of picky children and so we kept peanut butter and jelly in the back for those kids and just charge it as a turkey kids meal or a veggie six inch depending on the size.
Real answer: we were only allowed to put 6 of every veggie except lettuce and spinach.
6 olives
6 jalapenos
6 onion pieces
6 pepper pieces
Etc
And for a 6 inch sub it's only 3 instead of 6.
You HAVE to ask for more.
Idk how many times I got yelled at for doing more than 3/6 🙄
We had a regular that we'd give cookie dough to. No one ever got fired over that. Also, the people that put on extra meats and things....your inventory must be awful!
Pretty sure this johnathan guy is the same guy that hate cauliflower from the tasty video
Is this the guy on Netflix who thought he is invisible ?
We had a field manager give a 10 minute lecture on olives and he gave bs numbers about how many extra olives or dropped or put on sandwiches by every employee every day at every store and calculated the price of a single olive and how it totalled to a massive waste of money
I gave double meat for everyones sandwich. I ain't coming out of my pocket...🤷♂️
When I was working at Subway one guy asked me to make him sandwich with everything we had + he asked for permission to film that...so he was filming me while I was putting everything in that sandwich ...meatballs, ham, turkey, beef, tuna, salami, pepperoni , chicken, bacon, cheese, all of the sauces and veggies...
did it fit?
Kristin Cha no and it was disgusting :D
Secret menu for me and my co worker was just rotisserie chicken with melted cheddar on top with jalapeños, black olives, bell peppers, banana peppers, chipotle, creamy siracha, ranch and then eat it with the doritos.
