  • Happy National Train Day, Railfans! This year, while I didn’t have much of a plan, I decided to take a gander at some familiar locations, just to see what I could find on our hobby’s national Holiday. Starting in Bradenton, we’d eventually end up in Plant City, making a stop in Tampa along the way. We’d ultimately cover a reinstated train handling practice, as well as catch a few interesting movements, while meeting up with a crowd of railfans in infamous Plant City. That said, I hope that y’all get something of value from todays video, whether that be a laugh, some new information, or just some general enjoyment. Let’s face it, I’m no professional, but railroading is my lifelong hobby. To those who are still watching after all this time, I appreciate all of the support, since I’m simply doing what I love. I attempt to upload railroading videos as often as possible, being limited by basic lively boundaries, whether it be school, work, or simply a packed schedule regarding the family.

    I hope that the content which I produce is somewhat enjoyable. My videos primarily show what railfanning is truly about. Whether that includes my friends, jokes from our boredom, or simply the trains themselves. I’m hoping that along this journey, new viewers will become regular fans of this channel, as I’m showing some things which others may neglect. Besides, I’m just doing what I love and it’s always nice to share that with people who share those interests. In the end, whatever I’m producing is meant for trainwatchers and railroad enthusiasts of all ages.
    Thanks for Watching!!!

    In case if you want to know what the CM44’S numbers are? I’ll give you the information about these. CM44AH #7265 was former CW44AC #393. CM44AH #7212 was former CW44AC #264. And CSX CM44AC #7008 was former CW44AC #164. In case if you were curious, here is the information of the CM44’S in this video.

      Thanks for the info! I generally don’t look into it, but it’s good to have it on hand for those interested, and I might start mentioning those from here on if there is an interest for it among viewers. For their sake, your comment is pinned.👊🏼

    I thought that signal shot at Distant to Mango was odd, I was there last month, went green for about 45 seconds. No time to think lmao

    Awesome video brother!! I would like to add that Seminole Gulf has been able to interchange with CSX at Arcadia & the Peace River trestle bridge has since been rebuilt & CSX is able to cross on South & Northbound trips although trans loading from Sarasota to Ft.Myers could still be happening
    Seminole Gulf’s Dinner Train has since resumed service but until the South end of the Caloosahatchee bridge at Beautiful Island is completely rebuilt they are only able to go North up until within 100 ft. of the South end of the Caloosahatchee bridge

    • @kotabeaner
      @kotabeaner  Год назад +2

      Yeah, I mentioned all of that in my discussion of it. There is still transloading from Sarasota happening, but it is much lighter than it was before.

      Well, I must admit, it’s comments like these that prevent me from losing that interest. Thank you very much. I haven’t been posting as much, but that’s mostly been due to me now working at the Florida Railroad Museum. However, as such, I’ll probably deviate my content more towards what we’re getting done out there, as my coverage of our projects can be much more thorough and frequent. I’m hoping to start another updates video very soon.

      @@kotabeaner That could be good. Example: You never know who may watch your videos with deep pockets. You just keep doing what you do; somebody may donate some big bucks to the FRM. (Probably not, but maybe..........) I'm pulling for all of you. I would also like to thank you for donating your time to those things you believe to be important. That is a noble thing to do. It is also a rare thing to learn for a young-scout your age. Keep going, boy!

    • @kotabeaner
      @kotabeaner  Год назад +1

      Oh absolutely. Whether I make it clear on the channel or not, the museum is frankly the reason I started, and continue to do what I do. I grew up there. It’s to the point now, that I have been added to the small force of paid employees of the museum. I’m gaining both railroad experience and a handful of cash, all while helping the museum keep moving, which I feel a sense of personal duty to uphold. We’re undergoing a full track rehabilitation at the moment, so hopefully I can get some decent coverage of that and other things for the next update video.

    It's been a while since I watched one of your videos. (My lifestyle has changed somewhat.)
    WOW! You have gotten a LOT better!!! And you were good before! So many other train videos are so boring (sorry guys...facts). You use so many different perspectives. Different angles. The drone. It keeps you on the edge of your seat.
    I swear that if you don't get into filmmaking in some way, you will be missing out! This is Hollywood documentary quality stuff!!
    I didn't know that info about Seminole Gulf. I have been busy with the aftermath of Ian. You should see all the destruction down here. We've been cleaning out pools that had 12 feet of water over them!!! There were live fish in most of them!!!
    See you again soon!
