My absolute favorite song from the movie.
It feels genuinely romantic and perfectly captures how Erika and Dominick’s relationship is developing.
It’s not just saying "I love you"; it’s saying "I’ll be yours forever as long as you love me for who I am."
It’s so beautifully written that I can totally see this being played at someone’s wedding.
I love the harmony in this song. I rarely hear two-part harmony that is more than an octave apart.

No matter long the time between is when I listen to this movie's songs, I can always sing along word for word. I actually watched this movie for the first time in 9 years a few months ago, and I sang every song. My sister just kind of looked at me with both shock and amazement. It was so fun!

Nothing wrong with that. I'm a guy, I like this song and have watched a few Barbie movies in my life. The old ones are way better. Barbie as the Princess and the Pauper is my favourite Barbie movie of all time and it will always be. :)

It's been 10 years and this still continues to be my favorite song.
I may be a guy, but I can't stop remembering this song. This is one of the most romantic songs ever made. I remember this was the very first Barbie movie I watched in my life. 2024 already, and I still cannot believe that this Barbie movie is already 20 years old this year. Barbie as the Princess and the Pauper 20th Anniversary (2004 - 2024). NOSTALGIA MADE ME PUNCH MYSELF IN THE FACE AGAIN :')
Also, please don't hate me when I say this but, King Dominick and Erika are still the best Barbie couple ever!! :) I remember shipping them before I knew what shipping was.

I commented on this video two years ago saying I was fifteen and I still thought this song was amazing...and now I'm seventeen and I STILL think this song is amazing. Some songs just stick with you throughout life, and this is one of those songs. :)

When all phones were Nokias, when cars were quite boxy ,when 90s ballads still played on the radio , and when Barbie was my whole world.
I find lots of people my age here ,late 1990s to early 2000s kids especially , we all seem to miss this era. For my case its because i see that time as the last good few years before technology really started to take over our lives and the warmth and connection between people started disappearing 😟

Had the Annaliese doll, te dvd, the pc game, the talking Sereafina, the carriageand the dres up set. I was obsessed with this film and once had a mini concert singing all of the songs!! Now my little sister loves it!

All the new movies like Princess and the Popstar are basically pointless... Not that they are horrible. I enjoy the old movies better than the old ones. The old ones actually had a well thought out plot and it actually made sense. This is one of my favourite movies from barbie... xD Who cares if I am old. No one is too old to watch these!

Princess and the Pauper had some top-tier music and lyrics. Although I'd say I prefer Nutcracker and Rapunzel for nostalgia reasons, I don't think any Barbie film I've watched has ever topped this one in terms of writing quality. There were a lot of clever pieces of dialogue and really interesting character beats.
