- This physics video tutorial explains the concept of simple harmonic motion. It focuses on the mass-spring system and shows you how to calculate variables such as amplitude, frequency, period, maximum velocity, maximum acceleration, restoring force, spring constant k, spring potential energy, kinetic energy, and mechanical energy in addition to describing the motion of the mass-spring system using a sinusoidal function such as sine or cosine. This video contains plenty of examples problems.

Just wanted to drop a quick note to say thanks for your awesome physics content on RUclips! Your style is super smooth, and I've learned a ton from your videos. Keep up the fantastic work!❤
Thank you very much. It’s comments like yours that motivates me to make more videos.
The world's best teacher thanks sir
Superb sir.. you earned my true respect
This was so useful!!!
this is phenomenal, thank you
bro is litreally better than my coachings physics HOD nice man why didnt i found you sooner.🥰
GOD BLESS YOU SIR, I have my final exam tomorrow and was struggling with this particular section, my teacher was Soo bad at explaining it but u saved me, lol I feel a bit relived and happy so I can pass onto the next chapter now. Thank uuuuuuuuu
You got this!
one of the best
Thank you physics ninja! I like the teaching style of yours!
Nice one
thank u !!!!!!!!!
Thankyou sir
which equation is angular vs natural frequency? I have seen both w and w_0 used and it is very confusing. does it change between damped and undamped motion?
w ( angular freq)/ (2pi)= f (linear frequency)
Well explained... Thanks so much bro...

14:03 But why? I dont understand why you added it.
Pls post the solutions to 9702/33/F/M/20
11:56 You lost me. What did the '(+)' mean? Why did you include it?
Potential energy=kinetic energy moment
