    I was so pleased to have found your CAL for the real deal pumpkin leaf. I was hoping to find one that was for the pumpkin and all I seem to find is maple leaf style ones. Thank you for the leaf, it came out perfect.

    I love that this pattern is written so that you can just keep adding leaves to the "vine" by ch stitching until you're ready to crochet the next leaf!

    So honest and funny, I stitched along and it turned out great! Thank you so much!

    I crocheted some pumpkins and tied some jute on the cinnamon stick “stem” but, your pumpkin leaf added the finishing touch!
    Thank you.

    Fantastic thank you so much! I love your take on some projects you make don't have to be perfect. 😊 Really enjoyed this tutorial and the leaves look great on a jack o' lantern purse I am making!

    I am so happy to see someone who holds their tensioned yarn end the same way that I do!!! I've never seen someone other than myself hold it that way :D

      I’ve been told it’s a quick way to damage the nerves on your fingers but after 30+ years I can’t change it now!

    I don’t know if you realize this or not, but your large leaf looks just like a real pumpkin leaf! I was facing making my own pattern to mimic the real leaf (couldn’t find any real-like patterns) when I finally came upon your video. It was an excellent tutorial! Thank you for sharing this.

      Thank you! I was unhappy with the un-pumpkin like leaf patterns out there and wanted one more realistic. Glad you found it useful!

    Ok you have positive comments so heres another lol your description was perfect and they turned out great thank you! But now for the aweful comment...ready...you need more videos haha😂
    I am going to follow in hopes that you put out more and more videos. PLEASE

      Hah! I learned that making tutorials is EXTREMELY time consuming and you get a surprising amount of negativity. I've mainly switched to crochet comedy shorts and the occasional written pattern now

    I like
    You are very good at tutorialing - if there is such a word . You showed us what struggle some of us have.
    Not every thing is perfection.
    Thank you so much. I shall definitely be crocheting my pumpkin leaf.

      You are too kind! I’m a big proponent of letting the mistakes stay when it won’t matter to the final product.

    Thank you! I did a stitch-a-long with you and enjoyed the process very much. I'm making a pumpkin centerpiece as a hostess gift for Thanksgiving and one of the pumpkins is large so I wanted to add more detail. These will be perfect!

    No way the algorithm is spying on me or something, I made a pumpkin container with the leaf coasters inside a while ago, but I keep losing the leaves and wanted to try a different pattern for them anyway, and BOOM, first thing in my recommended page, 59 views, 2 days ago - what?? Anyways thank you so much these are so cute!!

    • @gettohookingcrochet
      @gettohookingcrochet  Год назад +1

      That’s awesome! (Not the spying part, the pumpkin leaf part). I hope it’s a fun alternative pattern than your usual!

    • @gettohookingcrochet
      @gettohookingcrochet  Год назад +1

      I should also mention there’s only three rows total and two rows for what would be the main coaster part, so I’d maybe double up on yarn or size up on your hook to make sure it’s large enough!

    No matter how hard I try, my leaf is always lopsided 😕

    • @gettohookingcrochet
      @gettohookingcrochet  3 месяца назад

      Have you tried blocking it?

    • @MrsWyldie
      @MrsWyldie 3 месяца назад

      @@gettohookingcrochetI’m saying, there are clearly more stitches on one side than the other. Blocking won’t fix that 😉
      I think I’m putting a stitch somewhere I’m not supposed to which leaves too many left. 🤷🏼‍♀️

    What size hooks did you use?

    • @gettohookingcrochet
      @gettohookingcrochet  3 месяца назад

      I'm fairly sure this is an E (3.5 mm). Or at least close enough! It's worsted weight yarn.
