Free pattern for personal use
Crochet Leaf by Lyza Walters
Yarn used: Medium 4 weight yarn, 100% acrylic
3.75mm crochet hook
Abbreviations:
Ch- chain
Sts -stitches
DC - double crochet
HDC- half double crochet
SC -single crochet
Begin in making a slip knot then Chain 15.
Row 1, Sc into 2nd ch from hook & in next 2 sts,
#(HDC in next 2 sts, DC in nxt 4 sts, HDC in next 2 sts, SC in next last 3 sts,)#, SC in same st.
Then turn, working in the free loop of the chain: SC in first 3 sts, repeat from # to #. =29 sts.
Picot guide: Ch 1, insert hook into the top of last SC made through side loop & pull through.
Row 2: Turn, Ch 1, SC in first 14 sts, SC in next 1 st,picot, SC in same st, SC in last 14 sts. =30 sts & 1 picot.
And to form it for the stem just slip stitch tightly to first stitch of row 2. Finish off. I hope it helps.

Hello, Sorry to hear that. It should not be looks like that. Maybe your chain is too loose. I'm using 3.75mm hook & medium 4 weight yarn(caron simply soft brand). I will add written pattern in description.
