Ria Rose, it is a great tutorial. Would like to suggest to others using US Crochet terms, your Half Treble is US Half Double Crochet, and your Treble Crochet is US 'Extended Double Crochet'. Thank you so much for sharing your skill.

I've been trying a lot of leaf tutorials and yours was the only one I could see the stitches clearly and finally I made a pretty crochet leaf. Thank you very much!
hola la felicito por su pericia siempre me ha parecido muy dificil tejer quiero aprender espero estos videos me enseñen aunq lo que veo es complicado desde bogota
Ahhh....just read a reply that those half treble crochet & double & a half stitches have different names in the US. The double & a half stitch is called an extended double & that half treble IS called a half double crochet (in the US). In the future I'll read more comments before posting...
Oh my god, I was sweating, my hands were cramping, back hunched over like that Disney character, getting frustrated, tutorial after tutorial but yours was the easiest THANK YOU SO MUCH
I like this leaf pattern but I'm finding the first stitch tricky. I'm used to starting with a slip stitch and can't seem to slow this down to see how to make that first stitch. Help?
@@mrchickenandthebudgies2506 thank you. I couldn’t get the stitches to come out right with only chaining 9 stitches using a slip know. I must have ripped out the stitches 6 times before I just decided to chain 10 stitches.
Those aren't the treble crochet stitches I was taught - they're like double crochet & a half stitches. And that half treble crochet stitch? I was taught that was a half double crochet stitch, hdc. Guess it doesn't matter, it all works out into a very pretty leaf. Still, I have to pay close attention...
Thanks for such a wonderful tutorial!!

Just made one! Yay! My leaf moved a little but it adds personality. Thanks so much for making this video!
I never saw a treble done this way before! Looks GREAT, thank you.
It's not actually a Treble Crochet. It is known as the Extended Double Crochet stitch. 😊
@@MB-hc1bx, i would call it "slip treble" 😄, that's the way i remember how to do it

Great tutorial.
If you made a slip knot (like I did), do 10 chains instead of 9.
