That was very nice of Scheib to do that!! Them little lights are pretty bright! That's a very good upgrade out there! Can't wait till June!! Stay safe my friend 👍👍😁🍻🍻!!
hi there . Got a box of similar lights like them years ago to pot out side all my different barns sheds , sawmill ,etc. well they didn't make it a month . i think they are great i sure hope you have better luck then i did .and hats off to Schieb what a nice guy . good luck john
The lights are a great idea, for not only security, but safety as well, i would look into another 2 lights to light up the wood stand front and back, with the remote solar panel for charging them, along with a motion sensor. This way you can place the lamps where needed, and the solar panel where it will gain the most sun! Remember only use quality rechargeable batteries in these lamps, and once every month or so check and replace them as needed! You can use solar “up lighting” to shine on the wood stacks, placed out of harms way, and shining directly on the stand, less of a distraction for drivers, and will light up the wood stacks, so what i’m saying is a combination of both is what is needed! Thank you Schieb, for watching out for fellow woodhounds, way to go!
Scheib is a great guy. Nice gift for sure. Think I would try aiming the front ones towards the front of the bins. Should still light the ground towards the road 🤔
Yeah the lights will make it much easier loading up after dark...and I was surprised they were still on the morning after so the solar charge lasted thru the night. Pretty cool!! 👍 😀 🍻
Awesome video. I was thinking about getting some lights for my roadside stand but didn’t know which ones to get, now I think I have figured out which ones I will get!
Big game changer. Let the lights go on from traffic. Deer can't hide and gives motorists reaction time. Add more lights higher on top of a future sign between the trees.
I had the same problem with traffic on my road setting off my warning chimes. I ended up making a shield/baffle to block the sensor from picking up road motion. I used old heating duct sheet metal. You may end up having to do something similar. 👍
Yes indeed it is, should make anyone who stops after dark a much better experience loading up. And they were still on this morning so the charge lasted thru the night! 👍 😀 🍻
Good addition. There are several types of solar lights available. Some have separate solar panels with wire connection so you can have the panel in the sun and light where it does not get any sun. You will make many more sales now.
Great placement, perfect on the box.the lights will add to security and a way for you to know if someone iz at the stand.you have inspired me to werk on my tool carrier. Yours lookz great!
Leave it to Scheib, he’s a hellova guy💪🏼🍻🦅🇺🇸. Rack is look’n Legit now!😉 Sure am hoping to make it to the FRENZY to meet up with you, Don and a whole bunch of my fellow WoodHounds! 🍻🪓🌳🌲🪵🔥 Bless’ns to ya, Tedd
Dan, Attach a 2x4 to the tree (horizontal), parallel to the driveway, and attach lights at ends of 2x4 so the lights are pointing directly at stand & pay box.
Dan maybe you can install posts in direct sunlight in front of roadside stand and have lights face the wood. It will make the stand more obvious at night.
You could put a light on the header just above the wood and cut a 2x4 hole in the roof to let light hit the solar panel but that isn’t optimal due to rain leaking around the light. I like the Hemlock and Silver ideas better but they would take more work. Worth it though.
I can barley make out the firewood for sale sign In the dark . I wonder if you could aim a " solar landscaping spotlight " on your sign where people on the road can see it in the dark .
That's not a bad idea...thanks. I'll see how it goes, I sort of like the sign being lit up and having them up a bit higher spreads the light out nicely. 👍 😀 🍻
We are new to your channel. I heard you live in the midwest, we live in Illinois. With your firewood stand is it an honor system, or do you go out everytime someone shows up?
Hello and welcome to the Back 40 channel & community. The stand is all on honor system, but if I am around I do go out & help load up or make sure they pay. 👍 😀 🍻
Nice video buddy I will be not watching you on Livestream I am back sick again so tell everybody else to pray for me God bless your family text me back buddy

Looks great. Maybe you can do a motion activated voice recording. “Welcome to the Back40 firewood stand, where all your dreams can come true.” Haha 😂
Hahahaha...that's not a bad idea! 👍 😀 🍻

Ohh my...I sure hope you're able to make it as well. Wood Hound Senior would really have his day made!
Those solar powered lights are great . I put them around the wood yard and in the dog run etc . Great idea at your stand . 👍👍
Nice vidio

Looks good
Just ordered a box!
"You light up my life..." Great job Outside with Scheib! Looks pretty cool with the lights. Have a great day!

Harbor freight has similar with separate solar panels, and lights with a cord between them
Have you considered Fluorescent paint for your sign?
Nice upgrades!
Thanks...there may not be too many people who come after dark, but now those that do will be able to see a little better...lol 👍 😀 🍻
Cool
Adjust sensitivity and duration on them...very good idea...need to make a couple mounts for better fine tuning light dispersal..
pc
Maybe lower the lights on the front and face them towards the wood.. maybe
how about mounting the other one on a 2x4, 2x6 on top center of the roof, pointing down. just a thought.
Hello from Virginia sir
I would like a link to those lights if you have one please

Set a post in front of the stand to shine directly at it. In the video it is very dark.
The Road Side Stand looks a little Empty !!!
lol...yep, needs a few slots refilled. 👍 😀 🍻
Get in your truck and drive by slowly to see if they turn on or not
Hello
Just how much wood do you sell from this stand ?
Where do I find the money box.
If it doesn't work a couple of 4x2 in a T for stability facing the road
That's not a bad idea...thanks. I'll see how it goes, I sort of like the sign being lit up and having them up a bit higher spreads the light out nicely. 👍 😀 🍻

If I may I would set them up to light up the wood stand and not towards the client.
you are alittle light on wood in your stand...
