This water level is common in the area after big rains. To our knowledge, as of the uploading of this video, there hasn’t been any damage reported in the area due to high water. We just love getting out and watch nature so it’s thing. Thanks for watching.

A small flowing river becomes a white water rafters dream. I agree with the others, the roar and fury of the water has it's own type of beauty. It's nice to be able to enjoy this and not have to worry about the roads becoming them same way, like in some other areas. Also, wow, the strip is like a ghost town. Enjoy the down time, March comes soon. Great job Eric, as always. Thanks

Ah yes the "Spring Thaw" which has been given a little extra juice with all of the rain and warmer temps in between the raindrops. I do think this has been one of the wettest Winters that I can remember.

Wow, Seems like every Mid February before we come down there is a high water event. Suggestion for you and the family Eric....Tremont Rd.!!!! A short 6 mile drive along the Middle Prong. of Little River quite Possibly the prettiest short drive especially after a nice rain. It ends at a parking area for Lynn Camp falls on Middle Prong trail. Lynn Camp Falls is only a qtr mile walk on an old logging RR bed. Turn left at the Big Brown National Park sign for the Tremont Institute only about 500' past the Townsend wye. Such a pretty water drive missed by 99% of folks going to Cades Cove and that's ok with us lol..... P.S. the short Trail to Spruce Flatts Falls is half way on the left, park at the parking area for the little Tremont Institute visitor and information center. One of our favorite Waterfalls not many know about.

    • @SmokyMountainFamily

We have to get to Tremont sometime in Spring. One of our favorite stretches go water in the park.
