Ok, I have been in Pentecost all my life, and NO ONE holds a candle to to this guy. Not even Johnny Lang. The difference is this guy is spirit filled. Can I get a witness!!??

There is and will never be another gospel singer like Russ. The anointing of his voice has carried me through so many heavy times in my life. I have such an indescribable appreciation for his gift and for his testimony. Thank you Russ!

My mum has wanted me to sing this at her funeral all my life. Sadly the last time she heard me sing was when I was able to sing with Janet Paschal. Only tonight did I discover that Johnny Cash sang this song. After Johnny I got excited. Tomorrow is mothers day. I'm going to sing this for my mom and I hope she will be happy about it. I'm in a choir now, and I sing bass. My mom only remembers me singing soprano over two decades ago. please wish me luck or pray for me. I want my mom to be proud of me.
Why are there 146 thumbs down on this? Obviously whoever gave this a thumbs down has no taste in music whatsoever! ...and yes I know the music may be a little more livelier than what most people at a Gaither concert are used to but come on people! Loosen up & worship the Lord & enjoy Russ! One of the most anointed singers EVER! I've been blessed to see him in concert a few times & the man worships God when he sings.
WITNESS HERE. I had the privilege of seeing him live in the 80s. Amazing voice. Amazing spirit. Huge talent. And no one, don't care, not The Man in Black, not Betty Jean Robinson, sings this classic Brother Ely song like Russ. Russ makes it soar so high it might as well be The Rapture.

My twin sister passed on 9/30/17 .. and I've decided to plan my funeral because .. she is in Heaven but more importantly Our Lord and Our Savior .. Jesus Christ !!!

My favorite Russ Taff song. I come in here when my spirit needs lifting and I always feel better. Of course, I play it at least three times. I wish I could just put it on a loop! I wish I was there when this was live! I'd show them how a Spirit filled Baptist can worship!

Saved by grace : You CAN put it on loop ! On video, just "right click" your mouse & a box pops up with options . LOOP is one of the options ! Then " left click" on Loop & video will replay for as long as you want . Repeat steps to undo . LOVE the Loop option ! Some songs I've had on loop for an hour straight ! Cheers ! : )

As Christians, I think that so many times when we sin, we focus on the immediate pleasures of sin and we take our eyes off of eternity. One day all of this is going to burn, and we will realize that every sacrifice and hardship, if you can indeed call them that, will be worth it. Let us stay the course and fix our eyes on Jesus
Have been a Russ Taff fan for over 30 years, but have never seen this video.
He ALWAYS puts his all onto whatever he sings, but here he just took it to another level.
He was preachin singing this song, and like one of the other comments, I would have been up dancing for sure.
The instrumentation backing him up sounded like the Allman Brothers Band.

As an Australian Vietnam Veteran and Pentecostal, this man is one of my all time heroes. He has been to hell and back the same as I was and look at us both now. I love this man singing, as a person and as a truly great example of what you can achieve. Our wives stayed with us and aren't we both so so lucky. Jesus is good!

This was filmed in Northern Ireland and I believe us irish are a little more Conservative when it comes to public displays of joy especially in a live Christian music setting. I don't think the audience would have seen anything like this before and weren't sure how to respond. Maybe the artists felt that lack of energy from the audience.?!

Frank Distefano the song refers to the ressurection of the dead at the last day with a new changed and immortal body. But most people have never heard of that nowdays with all this modern fake kingdom junk our on the street.
