    I’m on my second vegan pregnancy, I appreciate you spreading awareness!! A well planned vegan diet is totally doable and safe for pregnancy, especially. (And i never craved meat or dairy during my pregnancy ....tons of people asked me that)
    Best of luck!

    I literally had all the same symptoms!!! Towards the end of mine I craved spinach and olives and bubble gum. Lol 😂 My baby is six weeks old and I already miss being pregnant!!! So excited for you!! Remember it’s the last time that it will be your first time being pregnant! I wish I had grasped that while I was pregnant. There are so many firsts and unknowns, but all so worth it when you meet that perfect little baby for the first time!

      EatMoveRest I’ve been hearing a lot about the importance of Choline in pregnancy. I did a bit of research and it’s super difficult to get enough of it on a plant based diet. I’m not sure if I should supplement it or not. What’s your opinion?

    • @EatMoveRest
      @EatMoveRest  6 лет назад

      Sophie Athena I have never heard anyone mention it’s importance...but if it’s vital then I’m sure it will be included in any vegan prenatal vitamin! Check to see!👌

      EatMoveRest some brands do, some brands don’t. Deva, for example, only provide 50mg, which is not much, considering the recommended RDA of 425mg. I just feel that the more research I do the more confused I become 🙈

    • @EatMoveRest
      @EatMoveRest  6 лет назад +1

      Sophie Athena I agree! There is a lot of conflicting information out there! A lot of it comes down to how you feel and trusting your intuition...and get blood work done!

      @@rl.w4992 thanks for your educated comment and opinion. I gave birth to a healthy 9lbs1 baby who I still breastfeed now 2 years on and whom is very advanced for his age. A well balanced Nutritionally dense well planned diet and listening to your bodies needs are optimal for health. There are too many obese, unhealthy, overweight babies and children who are raised on pure junk food. Also every body is physically very different and carries pregnancy very differently based on their bodies structure.

    Hi, great video and very interesting. Can I ask how much Sublingual B12 should I take in a day or week? My current Sublingual B12 says 10 drops at 2400mcg a day. Seems a bit too much. How much do you guys take?

    Nice video and I think it will help so many vegan mamas to be! I'm currently 27 weeks and struggling with heartburn. Smaller meals help a lot, as well sipping water and foods that are a bit more bland than usual. I planned to so a supplements video too for quite some time now, but never got to it... I'm glad that you did it and covered so many things!

    Thank you for making this video. I am confused about b12, as I used to take it every day, but now i stopped because there is a 100 % daily dose in my prenatal vitamins, so I feel like I do not have to take more. Or do I? I saw that the garden of life prenatals also have b12 in it, so why did you decide to take it additionally as well? Thank you for your answer-

    Hello, great video. Thank you for sharing. I have a question for you. I am not pregnant but I have been eating a plant-based diet for the last three months. I feel great and I am hoping that the new changes to my diet will help me to lower my Cholesterol which came extremely high on my last physical Jan. 2019. However, in the last 2 weeks, I noticed some hair loss, that's why I decided to watch this video to see if what I have is due to some type of deficiency. Let me know if you experienced the same when you first change your diet or if you can give me some guidance on what to eat.

    • @EatMoveRest
      @EatMoveRest  5 лет назад +1

      Hi love! I’ve heard that this can happen when going through a major nutritional shift due to detoxification, but your hair will come in thicker and healthier after your body adjusts and adapts! Just make sure you are eating a well-balanced diet and supplementing things like B12 and D3! This lifestyle will totally help lower your cholesterol, too!

    • @ingridbarrientos8665
      @ingridbarrientos8665 5 лет назад +1

      EatMoveRest Thank you for your prompt response. I will be checking my cholesterol on Friday. Very excited to see if the changes I made in the last three months have helped. My Dr. told me it was not possible, since I was already at a perfect weight and most likely was genetic. We’ll see! 😊

    • @EatMoveRest
      @EatMoveRest  5 лет назад

      Genetics definitely play a roll, both of my parents have high cholesterol but mine dropped dramatically after eliminating eggs from my diet! It may take some time, but stick with it and trust that even if it takes a while, know that plants are healthier no matter what, and being plant-based is only going to improve your body’s well-being, never hurt it!👌💚

      EatMoveRest Hello Erin, I can’t thank you enough for all your helpful advice. I got my cholesterol results and I am thrilled. It went from 325 on Jan 2019 to 193 on May 3rd. 2019. I also want to thank you for you sharing about the supplements. I got my B12 and Vitamin D3, and most thankful for the Smooth Move tea. Thank you, thank you! 🙏🏼😊

    So i take a b12, iron source (through real plant fruits and vegetables)and a vegan d3 vitamin. Should I also take calcium and omegas?

    • @brey3649
      @brey3649 5 лет назад +1

      i think you could get a lot of calcium and omegas from the foods you eat. i know for a fact including hemp seeds can boost your omega intake and calcium can come from veggies like broccoli and avocado. I would recommend to research natural sources first and then if you are still not satisfied to try a supplement.

    • @evette2453

      Arugula is very high in calcium, it's a green leafy thing. Omega 3 can come from walnuts, and that alge she mentioned.

    • @EatMoveRest
      @EatMoveRest  5 лет назад +1

      You’re right on track if your taking the two most important vitamins that are easy to become deficient in, B12 & D3. Definitely like these guys said, for others things, opt to get them from whole food sources! That being said, I recently started taking an EPA & DHA Omega-3 supplement for brain and heart health especially since I’m now breastfeeding for baby’s sake! Dr. Greger on NutritonFacts.org says it can’t hurt to take a supplement, but it Can hurt your to not be getting what you need!☺️👌

      No, B vitamins are water soluble vitamins. Therefore you will excrete the extra unnecessary nutrients via your urine daily. It’s important to take the recommended dose of B12 daily rather than taking a large amount once a week.
